    Eh, I just see it as factions losing a bit of allure/no benefit to join. At least at this point.

    Not to be a Debbie Downer, but am I the only one against PCs selling items to rival factions' PCs or undecided PCs?

Luckily, I know how to deal with them," Hoke says as he walks up to the imp and Guffington. Hoke shakes his head with a sharp scoff. "When I heard you first talk about these artefacts and the other ones, I knew this was no basic treasure hunt to fill a treasury or study. If you intend to use these artefacts how I think you are, and mark my words now, I do believe we are going to have to kill your friend." Hoke looks Guffington right in the eye. "Old gods, witches and immortals. Sure does sound innocent without any chance of ill-fated side effects. A man who is supposed to be as intelligent as you and surrounded by more intelligence can't see this? Or do you refuse to?"

    Hoke gives a wave as Vipera flies back to Dastan. He follows Torc to the bow of the ship, takes out his bedroll, and rests a bit. He rests his head against Torc while she curls around him like a giant cat.

    Hoke pockets the loot and pats Hybros on the shoulder. "Probably wouldn't be a bad idea if we found a place to restock some items before we head off for the next artefact."

    Hoke watches as the imp and Vipera head off into the darkness. When he could follow them no more, he scans around, trying to decipher the number of dragons around them. Torc's amber eyes gleam as she does the same.

    Hoke scoffs at the idiocy the dragons display but holds his tongue after Hybros speaks. He instead tends to Torc. As Hoke approaches, the brown dragon stands tall, unflinching, although she was covered in blood and blisters. She would not let her kin see her as weak. Hoke consumes 2 Grand Potions and uses 2 on Torc.

    In fact, he should have a health amount of HP...

    How is Hoke KO'd? He is Immune to Fire... In fact, the last two Special Damage rolls should only result in Hoke Burned 20, so he should have plenty of HP left if I am not mistaken.

    I am assuming the battle is considered done right after Arthur defeats Bellerai & the party does not suffer any negative effects after that. JB - Hybros's inventory lists a Phoenix Essence... EDIT: If the Special only does Fire damage, then it shouldn't affect Hoke as he is Immune.

    FYI - Rolls of 2 are not Crits, they are Jump Hits which is in the air for the round rolled, next round WPx5 + Level.
