    Hoke finishes off the last of his meal as the lass skips off. He uncorks the vial of Crimson Haze, wafting the scent. It is sharp and pungent, instantly causing a sting of pain right behind his eyes. He turns his head with a sour and regretful expression on his face and carefully sets the opened vial on the table. He retrieves the small black orb from his glove which he had tucked into his belt. He eyes it as it because more malleable, sensing what is to come. He holds the orb over the vial as it slowly oozes out of his hand like a metallic snail stretching itself out of its shell. It slides out of his hand and into the vial, soaking up the red liquid. "So what's next in your plans?" he asks Dyric as he watches the orb consume the contents of the vial.

    "Let me finish up here, and I will show you how to use this thing," Hoke offers hoisting the Flagpole as he accepts the deal and slides over the Dragon Scales,"These came from a very special friend. Use them wisely." Hoke hands over the Hollow Flagpole and 2x Dragon Scales and accepts the 300 gold and Crimson Haze.

    "Done,"Hoke says as he shakes Dyric's hand and accepts the Raw Meat. He signals a tavernkeep over and asks for them to prepare the Raw Meat and to bring some bread and mead. A short time later the food arrives, perfectly prepared, and Hoke consumes the Raw Meat (HP +5) "Mayhaps. Depends on the offer," Hoke says as he eyes the Crimson Haze.

    "Sure, I could use a bite to eat," Hoke says pointing to the Raw Meat.

    Hoke enters the Training Room yet again. "Master Ablesword, what shall we learn this time?" Hoke calls forth Zoot's Order. "I will train to be a Paragon." Copper Fox and Hoke spared for the entire day. Hoke would change Zoot's Order in an instant, utilizing the best weapon in the martial form Copper Fox was teaching. By the end of the day, both were exhausted, covered in sweat and a bit of blood. "Well done. You are now a Paragon."

    Hoke takes the seal and pins it to his cloak. "Many thanks. I will seek out my quest mates and let them know. Thanks for the adventure. It was truly one for the books."

    "It was a sight to be seen for sure. Unfortunately, they didn't want to be seen. We had to battle a matron of the group, something I wish we wouldn't have had to do. But, mayhaps that situation can be remedied now," Hoke says, the last bit mostly to himself. He proceeds to carefully dump out the contents of his pack on the table to sort through his loot. "See anything you are interested in?" He asks Dyric.

    Hoke finally made his way into the Hall, not sure quite how to take recent events. He quickly scanned the Hall, seeing many new faces he had never seen before and a few familiar ones. He approached Dyric and sat down beside him. "That was an interesting journey," he says almost absently.

    It was a pleasant trip overall. Something neither Hoke nor Torc seemed to have enjoyed lately. They took a leisurely pace, but Hoke noticed Torc slowing down the closer they got to Eubric. Something was amiss. He sensed it. He sensed it after they left Dastan and the other dragons. Eventually, they touched down just outside Eubric, in a small clearing in the woods near the city. Hoke felt another familiar presence and understood what was going on as soon as he saw an old friend perched atop the stump of a felled tree. <Are you ready sister?> Hoke heard Vipera ask as he slid off her back. He looked Torc in the eyes and saw sadness but also determination. <Yes little one.> Torc said, not taking her eyes off Hoke <I will teach the Dragons of Dastan what we have learned together. I will return to you.> Hoke removed his glove and placed his hand on her snout. She breathed him in, backed away, and took to the air. <I will watch over her. Our kind will surely benefit from what you have done for Torc and I. She will return, and so will I.> Vipera took flight as well, catching up with her larger sister. Hoke watched them fly off until they disappeared on the horizon. He turned to walk back to the Hall with the same look that Torc had in her eyes, sad, but determined.

    Hoke says his farewells, not seeing anything else to accomplish here. He mounts Torc who vaults into the air with a flick of her wings and tail. They take to the skies effortlessly, soon out of Etheria and gliding peacefully over a crystalline blue sea.

    "I believe I have a way to Eubric," Hoke says as he pats Torc's neck,"Thanks for your assistance Void Master. This certainly has been an interesting trip."

    "I'll let Etheria judge her. Let's all go ."

    "If yoi believe she is of no harm to Ehteria,we all go. If not," Hoke eyes Skuld threateningly, "she stays."

    "Trying to see what we are looking for. Apparently, there's nothing here," Hoke says as he shakes the last bit of the ominous chill from his spine. He pockets the Etheral Opal and tosses the Opal and gold to Matthias. "Easy," he says as he steps in front of Skuld,"What is going on here?" Hoke looks at the Void Master, giving him a signal that it might be time to leave.

    Woohoo! Now go get a job. Hoke withdraws and recalls Zoot's Order several times to no avail. He stows the orb once again and pulls forth his Gladiator Trident instead. He hefts the weapon a few times, as it has remaind unused. A bit unwieldy compared to his favored weapon, but it would do. Is that for each PC or total? Please be kind and say that is EACH. Guts is also in the Frozen Room with us I believe. Hoke catches the payment and tucks it into this pouch. He looks over the ceiling and walls, and he looks over to Torc, issuing a command. "Light it up."

    "See anything interesting?" Hoke asks the group as he continues to inspect his surroundings. He looks around a bit more, then has an idea. He calls Zoot's Order out and inspects the opal imbued within.

    "I thought you would want to," Hoke manages to say before the void masters warps them all into the Frozen Room. Hoke casually tosses Lady Felix the Eye of the Blind with his eyes transfixed on the spectacle before him. "Let's have a look," Hoke says as we walks out and inspects the icy cavern, shaking the shiver off. Torc does the same with a flick of her tail and shake of her neck.

    Hoke chuckles in disbelief. "It should mean more than a little to you; it's the key to the room you want to get into." "You're going in?"

    "Yes," Hoke says as he holds the Eye of the Blind up for the Norn to see ,"Are you simply curious, or do you have plans if I can access the Frozen Room? I have seen you in deep conversation with your companion. What is so important about the Frozen Room? What are you to discussing so fervently?"

    "What, you don't trust her either?" Hoke laughs, then crosses his arms over his chest and looks her in the eye. "You did nothing to get this, yet you want ME to put up collateral? It is you who should fulfill some part of this bargain before it ends. Mayhaps I should just keep the thing."
