Thanks for the review! Quite a menacing little cart there. I would imagine this guy ramming it into a gate or door then setting the cart on fire to burn the gate/door down.
Wish it came with a dark pearl bley sword and a dragon shield.
Another reason I am guessing they are prelims is because the checkered lion knight had white arms in all of the Toy Fair pics and these have red. Good to see a close up of the knight's torso.
Am I the only one that won't buy these if the black neck square printing is missing?
Looks like the lion knight leader in the battlepack has leg printing similar to the crown golden knight's legs:
So that is at least 2 different leg printings for the kingdoms line.
Hope those are prelims. Don't like 4 of the same torso for the dragon knights when they have at least 3 different ones. Cool to have battle packs though.
I really wish battle packs would be more like the SW ones with a vehicle and 4 minifigs instead of 5 preassembled minifigs. Heck I'll take one of these updated to the new factions (non-combatant, horse preferably with barding, knight & 2 soldiers):
Or:
Since I can't wait for the new Kingdoms, I decided to start building my forces with existing pieces.
Here is my take on a cannon for the Lion Knights. I decided to do something different from my Crown Cannon. I started out with this piece as the mouth piece, but decided to go with a smoother look. Comments and critiques welcome:
Thanks for looking!
Thanks for the comments everyone. To lower the piece count, I could replace the armor/weapon rack with a barrel or small crate to put weapons in and the soldier could just wear the armor.
