There were a couple of the sets available at the local TRU today.

Forestmen/bandits would be great.

Wish they would have kept the black Dastan hair like in the art mock up. No biggie though. I was wondering why she was cooking gold. I am kind of partial to my training pell.

The color is ok since the printed armor is also light pearl grey. Now only if they would make unprinted dark pearl grey armor... True about the visor helms. Good thing I got a Fantasy Era Tic Tac Toe set! The prince torso and legs are most likely what the king has in the big castle set.

Hey, looks like there is a pell in there! Nice! Also cool to see a small blacksmith setup. I was just working on one for an impulse style set. Likes: Cool mini sets Pig! 4 civilian minifigs (I count the prince and queen) Dislikes: Only 1 dragon knight No dragon shields Non-printed armor Not sure if this is a mock up or the real deal, so I guess things could change. Glad to have another Castle advent calendar though. At least getting 2!

Sure is. That's why I have a thumbs up at the end of my post and why I will be getting at least two. I would have also loved it if TLG would have included a male peasant from MMV. Can't wait to see a clear pic of the advent calendar.

So I guess TLG is recycling the dark green/black female peasant and blacksmith. I believe Nicholai showed there is at least a different head on the female peasant, hopefully the blacksmith will have a different/new head. Will be picking up at least 2 of this advent calendar.

Those minifigs are SWEET! Glad the dragon and lion knights both have printed legs. Will get multiples of this set. Thanks for the review KimT!

I am almost positive the battle packs we saw are mock ups/prelims. The torso/arms don't match what are in the sets, not to mention the dragon battle pack has only 1 style of visible torso. I am sure these will be changed (and hopefully for the better).

I'd like them to be the same color as they would belong to the same court. The sand blue wizard goes fine with my Crown army because he is blue, just like how I am using the Viking torso with dark red arms to be the auxiliary/ranger force for my Lion Knight army. I may just use the legs and torso from the Skelly wizard as my Lion Knight wizard. Thanks for the idea Sandy.

Thanks for the pic. I am disappointed he is blue and not red. I'd rather him red to match the Lion knights. I guess the Crownies will just have two wizards.

This set is going to be awesome and probably the only Star Wars set I will buy and keep.

Thanks for the pics! Can almost see the bley knight's torso and leg printing. Wonder if the that same torso and legs are on the mounted knight in the Prison Tower set.

Zoom in on this pic and you can see the lion knight has printed legs like the Crown Gold Knight. Just noticed that the Lion Knight's belted torso does not have an insignia anywhere. I like that. Swap out the arms and he could be in any army.

I am guessing these may be rejects somehow as the queen's printing seems to be rubbed off. Thanks for the pics! Slightly disappointed with the recycled green/black peasant torso, but I am glad it's not just another soldier. Guess I can keep those MMVs sealed after all.
