    Hoke leans in a bit closer to the mermaid. "There's a dead werepenguin in the square. He had your card and this poster. His target and his target's crew are in the tavern. You don't that could cause any problems, do you?" Hoke looks around a bit more, especially at the patrons. "Reference...Heroica. Try that one."

    Hoke looks around a bit as he steps up towards the mermaid. "Yes, first time," he says as he finally makes eye contact with the mermaid,"Sponsor? Well..." Hoke lays out the wanted poster, smoothing and flattening it out. "There's a bit of a mess in the square. A black and white beaked fellow, now deceased, was carrying this."

    "Hmmm...let's find out if this works," he says as he thumps the card. Hoke heads back to Madame Mihm's. He once again knocks on the door. "Enterprise" he says when the cyclops guard opens the slot.

    "Mayhaps it's a person or a location? I can't think of a word in Common speak other than 'Preinsert', and I highly doubt that's it." Hoke flips around to the backside of the card to check for any notes or clues.

    "Aye, as we all will." Hoke nods at the captain and signals for his crew it's time to go. As he walks out, he throws Amelia a wink. As they all step out, Hoke pulls out the business card and holds it up the the tavern's light.

    "Barkeep, I'll take another one of those Apples and a Chicken if you have them." "I can respect that captain."

    "Well, we are still getting used to each other as we are newly assembled. We all have experience on different assignments and this is our first together. Our current assignment is one of ther merchant and exploration variety, but, as self funded individuals, you can agree an offer like this is hard to let slide," Hoke says tapping the poster,"Plus a tavern brawl does sound kind of fun. But honestly captain, is your man innocent of wrong doing?"

    "Tis true, and that's what I said. They kept wanting to come back here though. As for the last guy, well, he wasn't amibicle to us neither."

    Hoke looked at the dwarf and barbarian, wondering if they had recently fallen on their heads.

    "Good thing indeed," Hoke says with a smile,"I understand where you're coming from and respect that, but you never know, so I had to ask." Hoke reaches across and retrieves the wanted poster. "Enjoy the show." He walks over to the end of the bar to Thorlar and the captain. He places the wanted poster on the bar in front of the captain and neatly smooths it out for the captain to see. "Good evening captain. It seems that there is a bounty on one of your men, and, for some reason, my crew is itching to collect."

    "It's possible," Hoke says with a shrug of his shoulders,"But, if he was willing to die trying, I believe the offer is bonafide. It doesn't say there is a limit on how many can claim the reward, we just have to bring him in. Let me propose this: have your crew join my crew in collecting this bounty. There will be less competition for your crew when the waters are ready again, and they will be permanently down by their best gunner, or so he claims. This can't be the first time crews have squabbled and fought. Business as usual, right? What do you say?" He held back his ability to command, hoping that Amelia and her crew were up to the task on their own. He would not risk the lives of those who were unwilling.

    "Not sure how self defense is leverage, but if y'all want to collect the bounty...I mean that's what we are anyway: bounty hunters and mercenaries," Hoke says to the sorcerer as he looks around the tavern. His eyes go back to Amelia and to her crew. There seemed to be three of them. "I have an idea," he says before he makes his way over to Amelia. But first, he goes to Throlar. "Let me borrow that real quick," he says, snatching away the wanted poster, unsure if the dwarf even read it. "How is your nautical equipment holding up?" he ask with a wink,"I have another proposition for you," he says as he slides over the folded wanted poster.

    "We could, but do we want to? How do we know he was not justified in defending himself?"

    Edited. Hoke is now at the Tipsy Tortoise.

    Hoke takes a closer look at the card as he walks over to Tipsy Tortoise, seeing some of the letters are different from the others. "Looks like we have 'the word' for Madame Mihm's," he says as he hands Throlar the wanted poster,"Think the bounty is worth collecting now Thorlar?"

    "Sorry sir, if your a bit more cordial, we probably would've helped," Hoke says as he stashes the penguin's gear,"Sorry Torald, looks like he used the Tiger Balm already." Hoke stands after putting away the penguin's possessions, holding 2 different pieces of paper. He examines the smaller one first, then unfolds and reads the larger one.

    Hoke notices the barbarian inspecting the penguin. "Looks like he attempted to collect the bounty," Hoke states flatly as he searches the penguin for anything useful,"And it looks like he needed more than the Tiger Balm." After he searches the penguin, he looks towards the Tipsy Tortoise to see if anyone is looking out or leaving.

    "Sure, let's check the Square, then head back to the Tipsy Tortoise to quench our barbarian's thirst" Hoke heads to the Square. Seeing the limp lump laying about Hoke sighs. "Should we just use one of his Potions on him? We made need him if we get into something," Hoke says as he looks over the demon,"Well, maybe not. Just prop him up against the Hostel and leave him be."

    "Hmmm..." Hoke stands there, thinking for a moment. "Did anyone say anything to y'all today about a password? Mayhaps it's from someone we haven't visited yet..." Hoke ponders as he recalls the map of the town,"Regardless, we might want to head back to the airship for the night before it gets to late, or would y'all rather go back to the Tispy?" Hoke looks over at the demon to see if he is still unconscious.

    New England Clam Chowder Hoke looks up then, over one shoulder, then the other. "Might have to get back with you on that one."
