  10. Here is my updated Mining Engineer. Inspired by Sandy's suggestion, the name comes from the Boulder Blaster Power Miners set (the tank one with all the dynamite). Comments & critiques are welcomed: Boulder Bombardier Additional Health: +10 Additional Ether: ~ Weapons: Axes, Maces, Clubs, Hammers, and Hand Cannons Job Traits: Natural Respite (See Barbarian) Go BOOM!: Boulder Bombardiers are adept at explosives causing elemental bombs to do 5 times their normal damage Hard as a Rock: Boulder Bombardiers are as tough as the rock they conquer giving them immunity to Earth based attacks, Stunned, Petrified and Poisoned effects Battle Style: Mountain Mover - Boulder Bombardiers are acclimated with the harsh environment of the mines and utilize their explosive mining skills in battle. 1. SHIELD - EUREKA!: The Boulder Bombardier attacks enemy targets with strength equal to weapon power only and receive gold equal to their level for each enemy hit. Number of enemies attacked it determined by a separate dice roll (6 enemies, WP 25 = 25 damage each enemy, level 30 = 180 gold). 2. CRITICAL HIT - DYNAMITE!: The Boulder Bombardier lobs sticks of dynamite at all enemy targets causing damage equal to weapon power added to their level and has a 50/50 chance to add the Stunned effect to all enemies (WP 25 + level 30 = 55 damage + 50/50 Stunned). 3. HIT: The Boulder Bombardier attacks the target with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level (WP 25 + level 30 = 55 damage). 4. BOOBY TRAP - The Boulder Bombardier rigs an explosive trap in front of the party. The next time an enemy would deal damage or perform any action to the party or a party member, the enemy instead takes damage equal to the Boulder Bombadier’s WP and does not deal any damage to the party (WP 25 = 25 damage). 5. DAMAGE: The Boulder Bombardier is struck by their opponent's damage. 6. SPECIAL DAMAGE: The Boulder Bombardier is struck by their opponent's special skill.
  11. Not sure if I have asked this question before, but is it possible to merge gems with shields? Doing so would provide elemental resistance to attacks from that particular element OR the types that are effected by the elemental type: Ruby gives resistance to fire. OR Ruby gives resistance to Beasts, Icy Monsters & Plants.
  12. I thought about this but would rather not. I've incorporated a defensive trait that I think captures the class's mining essence and an offensive trait that sets it apart from the Cannoneer. I've also decided on a name change that will make more sense for the proposed class.
  13. WBD - Swashbuckler: I think roll 4 Counter should be moved to roll 5, and a new roll 4 should be something like: Taunt - target enemy deals and recieves double damage next round. Just thinking about the snobbery & possible trash talking a swashbuckler would engage in.
  14. Sure. I wasn't really in love with the name to begin with. I'd like to include a pre-existing trait to follow the pattern that you laid out. I picked that one because I thought it went along well with the 'toughness' of the class and complimented Hard as a Rock and Mountain Mover. Maybe a 50/50 chance on stun or nerf the damage dealt a bit? I just like the idea of a PC slinging a bunch of dynamite at the enemies. Like I said, it was really me first stab, so I expected I would need to work on it some more. Just wanted to make sure it would have a chance alongside the Cannoneer. Thanks.

DAMAGE: The Mining Engineer is struck by their opponent's damage. 6. SPECIAL DAMAGE: The Mining Engineer is struck by their opponent's special skill.

First, he heads off to the smithy: "My good sir, you have done such excellent work for me before that I wish to employ your services again. Please remove the garnet from this Axe." Hoke hands Anwyl his newly acquired berzerker's axe. Anwyl returns a short while later with an axe and a garnet gem. Hoke hands him 50 gold pieces. 159 - 50 = 109 Next, Hoke heads to Portia's and purchases a Grand Tonic. 109 - 30 = 79

  18. "Let's review where we are and where we need to go," Hoke says while looking at the maps and supply list. It's 60 pages. I need a recap. Isn't there a graveyard we need to go to?
  19. "We aren't to remove the lids as that would ruin the product," Hoke said while inspecting his newly trimmed and cleaned nails. "I am still trying to figure out how Sam will tell us we are correct." Hoke returns the knife back to its sheath and pulls his gloves back onto his hands.
  20. Seeing that Sylph yet again has the puzzle under control, Hoke leans against the wall, removes his gloves and cleans his fingernails with a knife.
