  1. Wonder if this will bypass the US just like the Advent/Good Wizard did? Looks awesome, great design. I want it so bad.
  2. My parents played crazy mind games and insisted I was too old. I gave in and assumed I was. A few years later on a boring afternoon I was reassured this wasn't the case, in the discovery that there was a multitude of different-aged Lego fans online. Nostalgia alone brought me out of my dark ages, and i'm probably a bigger fan of Lego now than when I was younger.
  3. I'm interested in this also- as long as the actual brick structures were on a baseplate this would be okay wouldn't it?
  4. These look awesome- I can't wait to see them on the figs! Any plans of making Hermes/Farnsworth/Amy decals?
  5. I loved this set- my favourites of the Diver line was when there was an above water element as well as the underwater sea beds. The Blue Divers were far better than the Reds too.
  6. Uploaded for something else, but might as well share!
  7. I built this, instead of sorting.
  8. I haven't ordered from there for a while, so i'm seeing lots of new stuff. Shame they haven't added anymore dark red, though the minifig adds are nice!
  9. I've voted "Above Average". It's a great set, with a lot of good pieces for an even better price. That said, it could also be a lot better. More shields, a horse, a giant troll, the skeleton necromancer etc. Maybe next year though, eh?
  10. That I do sir. That's good to know. If I had more know-how and blue I probably would've gone in a SNOT direction, but I think for shallower water it looks right enough. Thanks again.
  11. My city is one without vehicles. Or roads!
  12. Hello all! After years of lurking your forums i've finally taken the plunge and decided to register- don't worry, it's a bad habit that prevents me from registering anywhere until i've lurked for a while! I'm 22, and i've been pretty much building since I was a youngster; first with Duplo then my Dad's collection from when he was younger, and then any theme TLG would throw at me! Nowadays I build primarily in Castle and Town -as well as more recently Pirates- though i'll try anything. That said, I tend to avoid Apocalego, Sci-fi, Space et al and vehicles of any sort. Maybe being here will change that? So here we go!
  13. Military 12b, Vig. 17b, Vig. 17c Hello! I've been lurking these boards for years now, but with the resurgance of Pirate building I thought i'd venture on over and share with you all some of mocs i've built recently! Imperial Sentry An attempt at building an Imperial fort. The hinge bricks made the overall shape a lot more interesting than it being square (imo). I wanted to try SNOT water early on in the build, but I soon decided against it- I don't think I have enough blue and I was still trying to get my head round it at the time. The tower might've been better higher as well, but no point in making regrets right? Wrecked I started building this for the Castaway contest over at the Forbidden Cove, but I got it finished far too early! Following the MOC above it was my first attempt at SNOT water. I think while in practice it looks better, i'll be honest, I far prefer good ol' trusty baseplates. I'm still a newbie! A Different kind of Booty Though the map was innaccurate, the journey was far from a failure- Mermaid Rock proved to be the real treasure of the quest. Comments and constructive criticism welcome!
