Nah, it's something I built separately. I've already started picking things off of it, so this is a photo of it very much as is. There's a ship built too, but I didn't like how it came out- that's probably where my lack of enthusiasm came from! Like I said, the deadline is still a bit off yet, and I do think it has potential myself, so there's still plenty of chances for it to get finished.

WIP/Unfinished I've had this built for a few weeks now, and I haven't made any progress since the beginning of last month. I like it, but i'm having trouble getting motivated enough to finish it, so it might be completed in time for the contest cut-off or it might be abandoned completely. Knowing me, it'll probably be the latter as i'll need the pieces.
  4. This is great- 16x16 is such a small footprint that you've really got to work if you want to fit a lot in, and you've done this well- focussing on height is a very clever idea. Great minifig placement too- this is an awesome entry.
  5. This looks great- you've done a great job of making the transition from SNOT to studs on top. The textured beach looks awesome. Nice boat too, really clever.
  6. This looks great- I can't wait to see more updates/revisions. The park is nice especially the small bridge and pond. Nice trees.
  7. Brilliant, great detail, and loads of humour without excessive trans red. My favourite entry so far, well done.
  8. What are the pieces on the underside, shown in this photo? Are they Lego?
  9. I was going to use a conventional shark, but I would've had trouble fitting it on the base. I've already got overlap on my medium division entry so i don't want to make a bad habit of it. I know if I was a bird the last place i'd want to be is on top of a sinking ship. Thanks, and thank you too Zuloo.
  10. That's an awful lot of tan and sand-green bricks! I missed out on a lot of the Harry Potter sets because of my dark ages, but the few that I have picked up have been pretty good, at least Lego wise. I like your 'custom' figs too- I can't wait to see how you do Tonks and Slughorn. I'm pretty jealous.
  11. Musically, yes, on occassion, visually, yes, always.
  12. Nessie!
  13. Vig. 25a My entry for the PTV Contest, small division. After being taken prisoner by the feared pirate Captain Redbrick, Mary Ellis was living a life of torture, humiliation and fear. Tied to the mast of his boat the Blue Neptune, Mary Ellis longed for rescue, and hoped, somehow that she could escape unharmed. After an intense battle with the Imperial Guard several weeks later, The Blue Neptune was left severely damaged, and with the egos and pride of the crew diminsed, they hastily made their escape. Mary Ellis on the other hand, was forgotten about entirely... With the two smaller categories out of the way i'm going to be concentrating now on the Large division. I'm hoping, that it's something The Blue Neptune will feature heavily in.
  14. It's nice how it's layered- you've managed to get loads of height from such a small base. I do love the flying Pirate Captain though!
  15. I wouldn't trust a jester with a sword ever. That weapon totally doesn't belong here!
  16. What is it about this forum and bloodlust?
  17. More photos have been added.
  18. I've just come from seeing this on Flickr, calling it great would be a bit of an understatement. I love the skellie arm mast- it's a neat idea.
  19. Thanks, they're threaded through one of these actually. I've got all the conventional plam tree parts already but I thought i'd do something different for bonus points.
  20. The conversation is most engrossing. I'm not sure I understand- the palm tree already has four leaves. That's a very good idea, thanks. I wasn't sure myself. overall it's 18x16, and overlap is allowed. I posted the question yesterday wondering if it was okay, but i'm still waiting. I'm working on it- i've got photos hosted elsewhere but my site's acting funny today- i'll see what I can do. Thanks all.
  21. Vig. 24b Hello! This is my first entry for the PTV Contest (and my first Eurobricks compo entry ever!). It's for the Medium class, and it's called, as the topic title suggests, Stealin' the Imperial Loot! A small band of Pirates raid the tower for some treasure, while the Imperial Watch are busy- will they get away? Hope you like- comments and constructive criticism are welcome!
  22. They all look great, simply because they're all so different from each other. Each one brings something unique. I've voted 6. It may be the smallest, but I think it's interesting, and seeing the statues, there's a lot of potential for stories.
  23. That's what I thought myself, but always better to check. It was kinda accidental the way it came out, but hopefully it will still eligible.
  24. I have a 16x16 baseplate, and everything sits on it except two round 1x1 cylinders, which sit opposite each other on the sides. Theorhetically the size of the MOC is 18x16, but these cylinders are only for structural support. Would this be okay? (if it helps I can send a photo)
