im still very interested in any MF and Home One info. Is it confirmed that there will BE a home one or is it just speculation? Also, what do you think the big UCS will be this year? Though i am not a PT fan, i would say that they are overdue, the last 2 UCS's (death star and MF) are OT, but what from PT could be big enough for a UCS? Jedi Temple? A mini-fig scaled republic cruiser? Or maybe it WILL be another OT (I think OT sets make for better UCS's anyway). Jabba's palace? Cloud city?

I doubt that the home one would be that big or the MF would be that small for that to happen

If you look closely at the new pictures, you can see little tags with the prices on them (i was only able to make out the endor one, the hoth one is too blurry)

Considering that the ATST u linked is an UCS worth about $100, And the ENTIRE endor set is worth about $100 I would assume that yes, it WOULDN'T look as good ;) However, TLC have done a wonderful job with it, considering all other things. The only set i'm really sold on is endor, the Hoth one seems a little meh. If they re-release the old hoth rebel bases alongside it, i might pick it up to make a diorama, but by itself its not very appealing. Am i the only one that thinks that the shuttle is WAY too small for the minifigs?

According to the front page: 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid ™ 7753 Pirate Tank ™ 7754 Home One ™ Mon Calamari Star Cruiser ™ 8033 General Grievous Starfighter 8036 Separatists Shuttle ™ These are the sets that there have been no leaked pictures of It seems strange that we'd get another general grevious starfighter, unless its a mini, or maybe a CW specific one.

Why not just buy 5 20 dollar battle packs? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of a battle pack (that it's used to build armies)

a SIXTY thousand dollar set? You have got to be joking. BTW if there was a set this massive, it would HAVE to be the empire with storm troopers instead of clone troopers. Clone troopers are like... lame stormtroopers SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS, REALLY? Even if you bought all the elments needed to create this set (BP's for blones and droids and such, as well as sets for AAT's) you'd probably only spend about 2-3 thousand. SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!

so the fact that the Venator pic was asked to be taken down byTLG practically confirms it as a set right? I'm fairly unimpressed at this point, unless it has been drastically changed, it looks like a simple recolouring of the ISD from 2006. I'm very interested in the mid-scale falcon, we have yet to hear ANYTHING about that except that it possibly exists. The UCS was awesome, but one of the biggest complaints it had was the lack of interior, i hope this new mid-scale falcon at least has a decent, playable interior. Again, i'm thinking similar to the mini-fig scaled ISD for the millennium falcon

It looks real, at least, the palpatine and the guard mini-figs look real - they would be too hard to fake IMO

Even though Clone Wars is easily my least favorite Star Wars movies (it's basically star wars for kids), it has a lot of good sets in there because of the many different varied vehicles. That said, I'm really iching to see some pics of some new OT sets, a re-re-re release of darth vader's tie isn't gonna cut it for me... I'm most excited about a new mid-scale falcon, as i've always wanted one and the UCS was too much for me (especially after buying the death star).

No way, there should ONLY be three colours of lightsaber: Blue, Red and Yellow. Mace Windu screwed it all up with his purple lightsaber (which btw, only existed because Samuel L Jackson demanded a different coloured lightsabre)

Depends if i'm playing with it or not, i sometimes re-arrange my figures just for the heck of it. ATM, i have Cheiwe and Stormtrooper han in the Prison, Leia and Moff Tarkin in the control room, Vader, Jedi Luke, Palpatine and the two Royal Guard in the Throne Room, C3PO and R2D2 at the control panel above the blast doors, Stormtrooper luke at the part where he swings across, most of the other droids in droid maintenance and the stormtroopers (i've added 4 extras) and death star troopers are randomly scattered. I suggest anyone who gets this picks up a stormtrooper BP, cause the thing looks so empty with just 2 stormies

Yes you can! And he even falls 2 stories, cause the throne room is right above the room where luke and leia swing across from one side to the other

I'd prefer a UCS HOME 1 to a UCS Slave 1, there would be so much more too it. Although, i prefer the UCS's that are minifig scaled or have incredible playability details (like the new falcon or death star) to the ones that are just big models, so realistically, a mini fig scaled HOME 1 is waaay too ambitious :P. A UCS cloud city would be nice, i know there was a set a while ago, but a big one like the new Death Star would be cool. For smaller sets, i'd like to see 'minifig scale packs', including ships that are minifig scaled (like Vader's TIE in the new Death Star). Someone made a few in LDD, but it would be awesome if lego could sell some themselves. I would so buy 3-4 Xwings and a couple of TIE fighters to recreate the Death Star destruction scene in a new hope. I'd also like to see a mellinium falcon, for the same reason. Full List X-wing (would be nice to see 3 different 'variations', with Luke, Wedge Antillies and Porkins minifigures, instead of just having yet ANOTHER Luke minifig) TIE Fighter (Just with a standard TIE pilot) Y-wing (Just with a standard rebel pilot) Imperial Landing Craft (Imperial Pilot) Falcon (Chewie and Han, if possible. If not, just Han) SLAVE 1 (Boba Fett. Maybe a variation with Jango Fett) Tantive IV (Leia and a Rebel Pilot?) Star Destroyer (Grand Moff Tarkin) Costs: As much as a BP for the X-wing, TIE, Landing Craft and Y-wing ($20 AUD) and a bit more for the bigger ones ($30?)

Im confused, i assumed that the interior of the USC falcon was already there? It's not? Is there no interior in the stock falcon? (Apart from the cockpit + the turret)

Finally got this set the other day. Took it down to my girlfriends place, and me, her and a couple of her roommates did a marathon build of like 12 hours straight. Its about 3/4 finished, but it was the most fun we've had in ages ^_^. If anyone else gets this set, i highly recommend you build it with friends

Woo - hoo, got a set off ebay for $580 with free shipping, just gotta wait 1-6 days for it to get here! Can't wait! I'm gonna take time off work to build it :P
