  1. I just got mine today. Thank you very much Copmike and the stamps are beautiful.
  2. It's looking nice for something built mainly out of a city set. Personally i think you should ditch the roof on the side of the tower or put it up on the very top of the tower as it doesn't really look right where it is. I would also try and put some normal Arrow slits in the walls.
  3. What i do is use a clean white shirt tacked up on the wall for a background ,but dark blue works even better and comes out as black in the picture. This is an easier solution and better than using paper because it doesn't get marks on it as easily and doesn't need tape. This picture was taken using a Dark blue T-shirt background and it is not edited , pretty good results don't you think.
  4. Thats actually pretty good and the chest area was done well . I don't like the arms though and i think they take away from it. It would be neat if you did it in orange for the over-tanned soccer mom look. Good moc and the picture quality is great.
  5. I really like this building and what i like most about it is it doesn't over do it on plants or fancy tecniques. The tree using armyman stands is quite nice , but where did you get so many?
  6. I live in canada and i have never actually gotten a order with crushed boxes or even slightly damaged . Most of my orders are for a bunch of small sets though so there isn't much weight to the box.
  7. Brown 1x6 and 1x4 panels are pretty usefull for boardwalks and 1x1 round bricks are good for makeing posts. These peices i have never not used on a pirate moc.
  8. The new hogwarts castle looks pretty nice this year and i like how they made the roof more detailed. But i really think lego could have done a better job on hagrids hut , the whole thing is pretty meh. It's too bad the hogwarts train isn't using the larger wheels from the Emerald Night, the sides of it also look too plain. Hopeful these sets change a bit , but so far they're look pretty decent.
  9. Siegfried theres these little snails that you can get for your aquarium and they seem to do a pretty good job of cleaning off algae and other gross things.
  10. I couldn't stop laughing when the fourth pillar didn't rise , and the look on the people lighting it when they were waiting for them to come up was pretty funny too . I think they could have done a bit better when they were taking wayne to the external torch . He almost fell in the back of that pickup truck , also it was raining pretty hard too. The first couple parts of the opening ceremonies i found pretty boring , but it got better once they were finished with all the aboriginal stuff.
  11. I could imagine it shooting the cherries off the tree for other mechs to catch below. If you look on my Flickr you can find larger images of this mech , i will also take a few plain background photos if the details are hard to see.
  12. The louse is a fast and manuverable light recon mech capable of jumping long distances with the help of it's jumpjets. This mech is inspired by the battlepods from robotech , and the Flea from mechwarrior. Bionicle Arm pieces make up most of the legs, it's something i don't normally do , but it seems to work well for posing. I waited two weeks for weather nice enough to take pictures of this outside , it was lightly raining and cloudy but it was still the best day we've had for a while. Thanks for looking
  13. This is gonna be awsome when it's finished , though it will take alot of trans clear bricks and angles to finish. Keep working on it , the gateway looks great already.
  14. This is really cool , but where did that ball piece come from?
  15. It's nice to see that lego is giving us less giant wheeled siege machines and more castles. Personally i think the dragons fort is one of the best sets in these pictures and it looks like a good set for getting re-coloured pieces
  16. The mexican is an instant win for me , same with the spartan. I've been noticing lots of these new minifig peices are quite similar to the brickforge versions.
  17. I'm just wondering do all the 3rd place winners get the same group of figs?
  18. Please resize that picture , it makes the screen slow to load. For the walls i would use dark brown , light brown , and light grey . For some sections just use grey nad for others use a mix of light and dark brown.
  19. I really like the use of gate pieces for the roof and the small stable underneath is a nice idea too . The exterior of the building i'm not much of a fan of , i find it looks a bit too much like a kk1 castle.
  20. I always loved the three billy goats gruff but i like you version even more.
  21. Thank you for frontpaging this TheBrickster , and the wagon and street are my favorite of the surface of the moc too. Well they do go to the temple to worship a thief god so you aren't wrong.
  22. It's a good way to keep out wannabee theives , also you should knock first thank you I don't have too much experience with medievil city buildings. After i finished the sewer section of this Moc i started to run out of brown 6x1 and 4x1 tiles and grey bricks , this made building the small taveren somewhat harder. I'm happy with the white building but i really need to decorate the corners in some way or add some more damage to the outside maybe?
  23. I've been wanting to build a theives guild for quite a while now and after seeing Thrash's theives guildI was inspired to finally make one. This was a bit of a break from building Mechs and starfighters. The model is in two levels ,the first is the street and the second is the guild and sewers. There are many beggars on these streets. All of the buildings have a detailed interior This building is the largest and contains a store that sells stolen goods and upstairs is where a criminal who is being pursued by the guards lives. The smaller building is a small taveren. A thief can be seen stealing from a trade cart. The surface level comes off to make looking at the guild easier. pictures of the guild and sewers The Theives guild has a small temple inside and a few targets for weapons practice. The Dark Sewer is the only entrance to the guild. The smell and Rats tend to keep wanderers away. Thank you for looking and larger images can be found HERE This model took me 5 hours of work and searching for pieces but i think it was worth it.
  24. I loved it when you had your car go after that duck , and the music for the video reminded me of mario cart. How many motors and other power functions did you use for this?
  25. I'm a Moc person , i've never been able to keep a Set build for longer than two weeks. I kept my dwarves mine intact for 4 weeks but that was only because i modded it quite a bit. I remember when i was 6 i got the old SW Falcon and i couldn't even finish building it because i had taken sections of the ship and placed them around my lego city for buildings. I a'm by no means a set collecter but maybe when i'm older i will try and rebuild some of my sets to display.
