I wish the 'figs from the AT-TE and Gunship were switched around. The Gunship has great minifigs but I don't want a £120 set, whereas the AT-TE is awesome, less expensive, but has really bad minifigures. The dream combination would be an AT-TE with Anakin, Padme, Obi-Wan, any clone and two Battle Droids.

Fives, while I agree with most of your suggestions, I think that the Tusken Camp Attack is no good for LEGO, since it addresses the theme of massacre. Having Shmi in it just makes it worse. And I would buy the Crab Droid set. I want more sets that have non-CW clones but not Anakin or Obi-Wan.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Dragonfire replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
(I know this says show your armies, but my computer camera program is having a small malfunction) I probably have the smallest army of anyone on here: 5 CW Clones 1 Battle Droid 1 custom droideka Luke Skywalker C-3P0 R2-D2 I know this collection is lame, but I only started collecting in December and I plan to get Battle of Naboo and four of the new summer sets later on this year. -
I still think there should be a Kamino based set- there haven't even been any Lego Kaminoans- and a Bounty hunter Pursuit remake. The latter could be a cheaper way to get the new Obi-Wan and Anakin. But there's still 2014...

I'll probably get Obi from the Interceptor and Anakin from Palpatine's Arrest. I don't want an evil-looking Anakin. -
For me, it's easier to buy sets as I missed the 2008 and 2009 CW waves. I'm going for the Tank Droid and Spider Droid.
-
Earlier I said the ECT and CD Battle Pack was my favourite. Actually, I liked almost all the 2012 sets, and the Interceptor has grown on me. Did you know, the Skiff is retailing for £35 in Tesco's?

Yeah. I have a couple of questions about the new wave: Is it Adi Galia or Stass Allie in the Homing Spider Droid set? Do the new Geonosian Battle Droids have backpacks? And would you recommend getting the Anakin and Obi-Wan minifigs from the RGS or from Anakin's Jedi Interceptor (I don't want the sets themselves) -
Basteq, the only Clone Wars set is the Mandalorian Speeder. The rest are all Attack of the Clones sets- no CW faces!

I have an idea for the Geonosian Arena set! Three playsets, each a circular arena with a pillar and gate for the creatures to enter through, and spectator's stands. You can combine them all to make a massive arena. Also, there could be Jedi in disguise (with hoods like Barriss Offee's) and their regular hair. 1. Includes: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi (non-CW) in disguise, Agen Kolar in disguise, 2 Geonosian battle droids and Acklay. 2. Includes: Anakin Skywalker, Barriss Offee in disguise, Geonosian jockey, Geonosian guard, Reek and one of those beasts the Geonosians ride (would appreciate it if someone told me what they're called) 3. Includes: Padme Amidala, Mace Windu in disguise, Count Dooku, Nute Gunray, Super Battle Droid and Nexu. It could also have the 'royal box' that Count Dooku and co. stand in.

Cool MOC. Did you buy three Freeco Speeders, or did you get the extra Talz minifigs separately?

Oh, someone else said on this forum that the clone sergeant's visor was silver in the movie, and the trooper's wasn't. Lego were trying to be super-accurate there. -
Corporate Alliance Tank Droid- I'll probably pass this one. The tank droid itself is nice, but Jango can be found in the Advent Calendar as well and I don't really want one redesigned droid. Homing Spider Droid- This is a must-have. I need more Super Battle Droids and Ep2 Clones, and I missed both the earlier releases of the two spider droids. Stass Allie looks cool too. Duel on Geonosis- I'll probably get this one in the Christmas sales. I must buy it, but the price is too high right now. Mandalorian Speeder- I had high hopes for this set, but I probably won't buy it now- Darth Maul looks terrible and the Super Commandos aren't anything special. I don't really like the speeder either. Maybe next year.... AT-TE- Although I love AT-TEs, this one is nothing special and I don't like Coleman Trebor. Pass. Jabba's Sail Barge- Pass, although I might bricklink Max Rebo later Jek-14's Stealth Starfighter- A definite pass. The minifigs look wierd and the starfighter isn't that great. Republic Gunship- The minifigs are excellent, but the price isn't. I'll bricklink Anakin and Obi-Wan but not get the set. Advent Calendar- Definitely. It's a great army builder- clone, droids, Geonosian, and if you have the Endor battle pack, then it's a good addition to that. The mini AT-TE is awesome too. And Santa Jango, young Boba and the astromech droid are must-haves. So only three sets for me this year. But I will be buying the Endor battle pack, the Ep2 clone battle pack and 2011 Battle of Naboo as well. Wait- do the sets only get released in August?

Just a question: do you own LEGO: The Hobbit: Attack of the Wargs? Because I think the Valkyrie's pilot has Thorin Oakenshield's face... -

But I don't really want to sell the Gungans; if I got them I'd be OK with them; it's just do you think the Battle of Naboo is worth buying when you have only one battle droid and want to build an army but don't really want the Gungans? -

Maybe. -
I will be the only person saying this, but the Elite Clone Trooper and Commando Droid Battle Pack is the best (I'm just beginning to build an army) I also liked the Desert Skiff.

I'm trying to build small clone and droid armies without getting two of each set, and I don't know which two of these to buy (NB: I would like a mix of battle and commando droids, I don't really like Gungans and would like a Jedi): - 2011 Battle of Naboo - 2012 Elite Clone Trooper and Commando Droid Battle Pack - 2013 BARC Speeder with Sidecar -
