    Em tosses twenty gold to the men. "If your information's good, I'm willing to pay more."

    "I'm not sure I can explain, other than I've had a run-in with someone who used a weapon meant to do the same thing. He was an enemy to the Wolfgang; I'm afraid they might've taken inspiration from his exploits." Em shakes his head.

    Em scrawls his name on a small sheet of paper, neatly folding it in half. "Em," it says simply. Though he was far from famous, he hoped they would at least know of his nickname. He wasn't feeling particularily lucky, but no harm could come of participating. He sent in his ticket, excitement bubbling slightly in his gut.

    Em pauses, glancing between his party members. What should he tell them? What could he tell them? "Experience... Yes." He sighs. Pinching the bridge of his nose, Em shook his head. "Shall we move further into the house?" Wolfgang taking over people's minds... Why did Em always get involved in these things? He hadn't a doubt that the Wolfgang would use the elixir for wanton destruction-- or any weapon it was implemented into.

    "Em is correct." Pausing and running a hand through his hair, Em sighs. This was all too familiar. 'Suscpetible to your will...' He dreaded having another Harvester around. Though he appreciated the weapon itself, he feared those who wielded such power. Too many maniacs seemed to reside in Eubric, and that kind of power was... "Wolfgang?" Em mutters under his breath, brow furrowed. He didn't like the sound of that. If his suspicions were correct-- Well, he hoped it didn't come to that. "We need to find Costello. Where do the footprints lead?" he asks, cold, as he inspects the footprints to try to gauge their destination.

    "Someone was looking for something in a rush, perhaps? Definitely not Costello, though." Em inquires, thinking aloud. He kneels down, squinting at the damage and mess, looking for some sort of footprint, handprint, or other distinguishing marks or stains. "If they were in a rush, perhaps they didn't cover up their tracks..."

    Em nods, placing a hand on the door. "Ready?" he asks, glancing between his party members.

    Em inspects the area around the entrance of the house for any signs of scuffle.

    Em nods, thinking to himself for a moment. "Alright," he states simply. "I'm ready to head out when the rest of you are. One last thing, Abbot-- Should either of you find trouble, do you have some sort of hiding spot? Someplace to lay low for a while?"

    Em silently watches the two and gives the room a brief glance, looking for anything out of the ordinary.

    Em nods. "Let's go see the Abbot, then."

    Em merely nods, glancing at his party members. If he was prone to wandering, Em would assume suspicious activity. "Has he had any breakthroughs recently? Anyone strange visit him? Any strange behaviour?"

    "Stay focused," Em says quietly, glancing between the two of them. "Miss, did you know your son was headed to the sewers, or did he sneak out?"

    That's what I was thinking, but I don't want to seem lazy. And if I do that, it might give me less of an opportunity to actually flesh out the character, so we'll see where it goes.

    Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how I'm supposed to do that, too. I'll figure something out. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully. :P Thanks for the opportunity, though; I'm looking forward to it.

    Em nods towards his fellow heroes. "Em," he says simply. Inspecting the area, Em can't help but notice who he assumed to be his employer squabbling. Not wanting to interrupt, he merely stood prepared for instructions.

    Em nods to Dyric as he leaves the hall, making his way towards his next quest. OOC: Party leader? Fancy. I'll try not to disappoint.

    Em shifts uncomfortably. "Had to return order to a cemetary once and deal with a Stealer of Senses twice," he replies. "So no, I haven't really done much."

    "A Pongcanis Chief?" Em queries, raising an eyebrow at Dyric. "Jesting aside, I don't know what you want me to tell you. I've nought that you may find interesting, nor anything you would find worthwhile to listen to."

    "I'm afraid there isn't anything interesting I could say," Em replies. Tell him about myself? Where do I begin?

    "No, I've never been to Duplovia," Em replies. "Heard good things about it. Might go someday. I agree also that the past is largely that... Passed."

    Em simply nods in reply, crossing his arms. Scuffle with the floorboards? Em would've dismissed it, but for some reason, he felt the man was telling the truth. He, too, had seen things he didn't believe since coming to the Hall. Home, though? An interesting concept. Was this home for Em now, as well? Would this be his new home? "The Homeland?" Em asks after a brief silence.

    "I haven't been around long," Em replies, inspecting the stranger. "Few weeks, maybe. Not sure." Dyric's curiosity was different, to say the least. Em was used to most people asking questions, though after a few short replies they usually backed down. "What about you? You been here long?"

    "Em," the green-glad ranger replies, taking the outstretched hand and shaking it firmly. "I hope to go on Quest 78." Assassin of the Light? Interesting title. Em felt it better not to ask about it.
