See I always said Orthanc was minifigure scale but when you put it like that it makes more sense. To be honest then I think It will be as you said minifig compatible.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Legoman123 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would assume that a vast majority of the piece count will be used on the interior of the sail barge though. It's not the most basic and has a number of different sections/rooms to dec out so a lot could go on that. I am assuming people are expecting this to come with minifigures and a full interior like the AT-AT & Razor Crest? Regarding the leaked Sail Barge & other leaked sets from other themes is it confirmed that these sets will be releasing or if some of them are confirmed? If so does someone know which ones? -
I suppose, I mean the surrounding walls will obviously be made microscale or it'd be the biggest lego set in history but the tower will Imo be minifigure scale. I mean would you class the tower of orthanc as a non minifigure scale then or minifigure scale?

DC Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Very happy to here Batman is making a proper comeback finally. Hopefully the sets coming will be comic/Arkham game based. There are still plenty of rouges for Batman that we need to get and now probably remakes of rouges we need to. Personally I am hoping for a large scale/D2C Arkham Asylum that can be fully enclosed like the Ghostbusters HQ. Ideally it would be the size of the previous three combined or a little bigger. A proper Wayne Manor would be nice as well. Do we have a price list for the sets yet? On another note I am not too interested in the leaked Gotham City set. -
So Lego have managed to do an amazingly detailed exterior while keeping Rivendell mini figure scale. Truly remarkable. I called Barad-dur a while ago now mainly because I thought it made the most logical sense and also because I desperately wanted this set ever since Orthanc released. On that note I am not sure if anyone has seen on Instagram but it has been claimed that Barad-dur is going to be minifigure scale as it has a dungeon, armoury and chambers (I assume for Sauron) included. Maybe it'll just be those three rooms or maybe more.

You've got that wrong. I am more than happy to go and watch a movie and it just be left as a one off and I was more than happy with the Joker and Batman. My issue is that the DCEU had been put across as this huge project that was going to have decades worth of work put into it. All the movies that were planned, all the crossovers and more importantly everything that had been built up so far over the past decade just to end it so abruptly like it has done. That is why I do not care for the Flash movie or Aquaman 2 and that is my preference. On another note you need to watch how you phrase things. You put across a very arrogant vibe from the way you reply sometimes, it's the third time you've done that to me on here and its wearing thin bud. If you didn't mean it in a hostile way then articulate your message in a better way as Brickbob did. -

What do you mean? To be fair I suppose it'll be cool to see Keaton's Batman again but I'd much rather them of cancelled this movie and just pushed him back into the new DCEU, even if it's a few years away. Never know he could appear with Bale's batman and Bane. -

I don't even care for the movie or sets based off of it now as the DCEU is getting reset. It's pointless to release Flash and Aquaman 2 just to reset the whole timeline. -

London Toy Fair starts on Monday and Lego are back there for the first time in two years. There is potential for more information to come about from there but certainly not pictures. -

Do you think the floor tiles that shoot the arrows out will be a part of this set then or not? -

I've just read the, honestly it sounds very interesting. My only concern is that the temple escape will not have the drop down door Indi sneaks under or more importantly the trap floor tiles that shoot out arrows. I feel at least the latter one is absolutely necessary. Whilst it mentions the boulder it does not mention how this will be a play feature at all. On a side note what is with the dome illuminating a crystal skull for? This is a Raiders set not KOTCS. -

So we have no detail on what the sets will be but we have price points and pice count. I'd expect one of these to be a MBS to be honest then. More than likely the Endor Bunker. -

They aren't really empty though, that's literally what the interior is in Hogwarts, in the class rooms and offices anyway. Do you really think they could improve on the interior? -

Legoman123 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
The problem is that you'd probably find that you'd have less rooms in a $1000 set than what you do if you collect the current Hogwarts style castle. -
That's very true actually and Diagon Alley had multiple buildings included. Do you have any idea what we would actually get though from Rivendell and if so what is the interior even going to be like as we didn't see much of it did we?

Do we have a price for both UCS sets or something? An Invisible Hand would be a good option Imo. Shouldn't we expect an MBS this year instead of an UCS though? -

I feel its a waste. Sure I like Lego ships but if I wanted one then i'd want one that we see for more than a few seconds like a Black Pearl or Flying Dutchman you know. Like you said we have no idea what the interior holds and I've tried to find stuff on the internet about it but can't seem to find anything on it. Exactly, there is really no need for a huge Hogwarts. In all honesty I don't even think it would sell that well as for most people it just isn't affordable and there is a much cheaper option of buying the current style now and been able to recreate the castle how you want it, and should you not wish to buy certain areas of it then you don't have to. There is absolutely no logic in releasing a $1000 Hogwarts. -
Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legoman123 replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, but a very simplistic one non the less, this scene is full of features that in all honesty need to make this set worth while. All the crazy thing that happened in the opening scene of raiders are why it is so popular and interesting in the first place Imo. I wouldn't say it's overdoing it, you have to take into account inflation of lego over the last decade. I mean the Henry Jones Motorcycle chase cost £8.99 when it released but now you would probably expect to pay £20 in all honesty. Taking inflation into account with the higher piece count probably means the price is right. -

Where did the rumour that it was Rivendell come from? I know reputable sources confirmed we were getting a D2C but who actually stated Rivendell.

What do you mean by 'ADHD' vidoes? If Lego want direct feedback though they can check things like this forum or Facebook groups. It's really not that difficult to do that and to be honest I'm sure they have people doing that anyway. -
Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legoman123 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I just can't see a theme ending when it is getting two D2C's per year. That just wouldn't make sense. I hope Lego don't decide to redo the castle again though, sure they could do but why not finish what they've started and actually give us the missing bits to this one first. -
Should the Icons set be minifigure scale then it would effectively just be a really large system scale set which is what everyone wants right?
