Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legoman123 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Completely forgot about the leaked X-Mansion. I really hope it looks different to what the leak showed though. For me I was hoping for something like the Lego Ideas X-Mansion from a few years back or the Ghostbusters HQ. Do we have any idea when we’ll be seeing images of the Avengers Tower? -

I don’t really understand why they don’t get more love from Lego as they’re such prominent characters in SW. It’s not like we’re not getting obscure characters already, just look at who came in Mos Eisley. -
Are we actually expecting this theme to carry on or is there still no news on that front yet? I’ve been away for a little while I trying to catch up on all the themes I follow. Also over my time off I managed to get hold of Rivendell brand new and sealed for only £290 so I dropped on lucky there.

DC Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I really hope lego kickstarts DC again. The amount of villains we still haven’t gotten in Lego form from Batman alone is crazy. I think if Lego really want to kickstart DC (pretty much Batman) they should do a huge D2C Wayne Manor or Arkham Asylum that’s comic based. I’d be happy for Lego to go back to do the traditional “Two Face Bank Robbery” style of sets just to get the ball rolling again. -

I think the way they’ve gone half hearted for Indi is ridiculous. So many potential sets that could be remade and brand new areas of the previous movies as well and they’ve just chinned it off. Temple of Doom, The Krystal Skull Temple, The Last Crusade Cup Scene. I really hope this theme continues but given the cancellations I imagine it’s highly unlikely. -

Are we expecting the theme to still carry on after this year? Personally I hope it does, I’d love to see them forget about the exterior of the Hogwarts building somewhat and concentrate on giving us solid interiors. I feel like the new style started off like that but the interiors went very lacklustre very quickly. I also felt like this with Diagon Alley as well. It’d be nice to get some more location based sets such as Malfoy Manor and Lunas house. Then D2C wise I’d love to see Grimwald place with a full interior, they could really do something good with that. -
I’m really hoping that the back end of this year or at some point next year Futurama gets a bit of a run. The series is back soon and going to be in the limelight somewhat again and given that 3/4 projects reached 10000 supporters on Lego Ideas it’s a fan base is there for it. All they need is a CMF and just a couple of huge D2C’s and I’d be over the moon. A D2C Flying Dutchman is something I’d love as well, really not sure how that has never been made but it’s defiantly doable without bringing the whole theme back and if necessary without including Jack Sparrow (although I’d love some members of the Black Pearl in there). This was another project on Lego ideas and it reached 10k votes as well. Given the revival of LOTR (even if it is just a one of set) it gives me hope for this.

I’m still hoping for a Palpatine in blue robes from episode 1. I think it’s the only live action version we haven’t gotten yet. -

I can’t imagine it changing that much in all honesty, I mean maybe some of the crews quarters are used for different things but other than that everything else would be the same. Tbh if they did an UCS version I’d kinda hope for a rebels based version. -

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if they do an UCS version of The Ghost the same way they did the UCS Razorcrest or AT-AT with a full interior, I feel the ship is too popular already to not do that. -

Are we expecting the Ghost to have a full interior? I’d hope so as the last one was just poor imo. Would love the living quarters etc. -

Any idea when we’ll start seeing pictures of the next SW wave? -
I really though lego missed a trick when they decided to do the silent Mary instead of the Flying Dutchman or Black Pearl. In fact I’d of took a Queen Ann’s Revenge over the silent Mary as well.

Hopefully it’ll mean another MBS will be coming after this has retired. -
I’m sure we’ll let get more. Especially if the rumours/images are true surrounding Barad-dur.

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legoman123 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Do you guys think that this will be all for the current style Hogwarts Castle sets? Whilst the exterior does seem like a complete model there are many interior areas missing including common rooms which have a lot of screen time in the movies. Also is anyone else thinking that the way the weasleys wizard wheezes set is going to be the first of many individual Diagon Alley shops? Given that the name ‘Diagon Alley’ was put in front of weasleys wizard wheezes similar to the new Hogwarts style it might make sense. -

So just how many sets are left to be revealed for the summer HP wave? To be honest the Hogwarts section really doesn’t look all that great and looks like it’s going to have next to no interior whatsoever. I am very interested in what the tall building is and I actually don’t really have any idea. -

Anyone expecting a much more detailed interior for the Ghost? I think it’s definitely necessary as the last one was so poor on the interior side and given that this has 400/500 extra pieces then surely that makes it a possibility. -

I mean I would love it to, I feel it’s the best of both worlds and fans of interiors and display pieces both get what they want, especially on that scale they could incorporate a lot from different scenes etc. however I think you’re both right as it only comes with two minifigures which usually indicate little to no interior. -

What’s peoples opinions on if the Ventor is going to have a a full interior or not? I really hope it does as I’ve loved how the AT-AT and Razor Crest turned out, it’s a fantastic cross between ‘MBS’ and UCS. -

Where is the list on the first page for sets we are expecting? -
Whilst I like the idea some what of cheaper LOTR sets I think bringing a big D2C like Rivendell out every year (or more frequent) works best for LOTR. Majority of the sets we all want and should get will only be done justice at $400/$500+, that’s why I think it’s a lot different to other themes in that respect where they can get away with doing scaled down sets. I mean it looks like we’re going to get a Barad-dur on a large scale with an interior, I mean come on how lucky can we get. I think there could be potential to do a couple of smaller scale sets to accompany each D2C that way you could build your armies up. On a side note I’d actually love to see Radagast the Browns house.

Who confirmed it to be Keaton’s Batcave? If it’s true what an absolute waste of potential again from Lego with DC, they’re an absolute joke. All the endless potential from the comics they could use for a $500 Batcave but they go back to one of the most boring versions with characters we’ve had a million times. No chance to get exclusive minifigures that we’ve never seen before. They give Batman no love and when they finally decide to not only do they do yet another Batcave but a very dull one with basic characters. -

I don’t know if it’s just me but I was a little disappointed that they didn’t include the arrows shooting out over the trap floor area, I mean even that just feels a little lacklustre there.
