Does anyone think we’ll get all three decks? The third deck I am referring to is the storage area where Jack met Bootstrap. Whilst we are on this topic do you think we’ll get hammocks as well?

Really exited for this set and I am happy with the piece count. I'm more than happy with the minifigure selection, for me getting Cotton and Marty were the two biggest wants and I was unsure if they would include them but they are part of the crew though the first trilogy and Marty is in fact part of the crew in the 5th movie as well, if any chapters were going to get left out I thought it would be those two. I know we aren't getting Barbossa but what do you guys think to us getting Jack the Monkey, he was the other want from the set for me? I suppose there is other sets he could come in as he's in a lot of parts in the movie but right now we are just getting the one set and possibly only one each year so this set is the only one that makes sense to include him in. We also need the lower deck of the black pearl and potentially a third deck as well.

I think it’s a given that they will do the Flying Dutchman you know, it is a set that never got made the first time round and is arguably more anticipated that The Black Pearl, after all Lego Ideas got 10K votes on it fairly quickly. I think the only reason they aren’t doing it first is because they need the ‘good guys’ ship to kick off the theme and it’s been in all five movies (technically in some form in the 4th)

It’d be nice to get dorm rooms as well, like a full area. We’ve never had that before. Even if it’s just for Gryffindor, though I’d like it for them all. I’d love to see some first movie challenges incorporated in somewhere, maybe the stargaze can lead to a 3rd floor which then drops down to the underground section. They have made it possible to change rooms around so I suppose they can make different areas and you choose what you want in the castle. I’d also like to see Dumbledores office detailed like it is in the movies with the back sofa area and walkway. I’d like the kitchen as well but this is unlikely.

So given the size of the main tower I am really hoping for one of the best interiors we’ve ever seen in a Hogwarts expansion. For me I’d love to see every common room and dorm room as areas in it (accept Hufflepuffs as we already have that)

I think it’s beacuse it’s not like a full fledged theme if that makes sense. Similar to how LOTR started, I’m sure it will get its own category in a year or two when another ship and potentially sets release.

I just think the desire for Jangos Slave 1 isn’t high enough to merit two versions. I don’t think there’s many sets that do in any theme to be honest. Realistically how many kids actually want a Jangos Slave 1, it’s mainly adults now. Maybe it would have made sense 10 years ago when the kids who grew up with the prequels (like me) were still kids so they’d want a cheaper version and the adults who grew up with the og trilogy could get the UCS set, but now we’re all adults and in reality most of us will go for the UCS set. I don’t imagine the kids who grew up with the seuqal trilogy are all that bothered about Jango (maybe I’m wrong here) but he only appeared in one movie, it’s not like it’s Boba who’s appeared in multiple movies/tv shows so the sequal kids like him and can relate to him. This is a set that should be on its third incarnation now, when I was a young teen I wanted this set so badly back in 2013 but we are now 12 years later only just getting it again after 23 years, and now going to flood the market with overkill on it.

It was said a couple of weeks ago in fairness and I’d assumed it wasn’t true but I thought it rather odd to make up and I’m sure it’d been mentioned in the superhero’s thread somewhere. Is the rumour true surrounding the Death Star only having two rooms/scenes included in it? I am beyond hyped for a UCS Slave 1 but bringing that out the same year as a normal scale Slave 1 makes zero sense to me. I actually it’s more like microscale now to be honest.

I just think an Arkham Asylum at $400 wouldn't sell well based on movies rather than comics or the games. Plus there isn't that much screen time in there or rooms for that matter. EDIT - I thought the two posts would merge as one, if someone knows how to do that please can they.

Wait so there is a rumour that suggests it is based off of the Schumacher movies then? I thought all of this was just guessing.

I think Aayla will look like the movies rather than TCW and the clones all seem to be a cross between both anyway.

It's different though, Marvel doesn't tend to go down that road and tbh DC rumours seem all over this year.

Arkham Asylum will not be based off of a movie, I'm nearly 100% sure of this.

I do hope it has some interior, maybe the bridge and crew quarters or something, or like an engineering deck. I feel you may be right that the whole structure will be technic based and have zero interior. Although it isn't common for sets like this to have this many minifigures with no interior.

So it’s looking likely that Arkham is going to be based off of Batman Forever, that’s just awful. I really hope it isn’t and it’s comic based, animated series or from the Arkham games. What is the first Arkham Asylum based off of? The version that came out in 2006

Lego know how long we have wanted a $400/$500 Arkham Asylum and making it based off of a movie wouldn’t make any sense. Remember it says 10+ figs so that could mean 10 or we could see more. I for one hope we get Black Mask and Ventriloquist & Scarface, along with some villains we have seen in the past but redone, like a real good riddler and scarecrow. If you look at how many minifigures came in the 2012 Arkham Asylum then you’ll see that that we got 8 and this set is going to be triple the size so I’d expect more, or alternatively they give us sets to go along with it over the next year or so.

Slightly earlier release than I thought! We seem to get descriptions relatively early if I’m not mistaken so I could quite easily see us getting information regarding the build, figures and price within a month or so.

Exactly, I just feel they could make some other ships we’ve seen over the years. whats your opinion on Lego giving us a Lego minifigure scale Helicarrier, it might break up the buildings we are getting after all.

I think the endurance is different though, it’s microscale, I would have been surprised to get any to be honest. To be fair in all Barad Dur isn’t low on minifigures, it dose include 10. Anyway here’s hoping for a solid line up

Honestly a D2C Black Pearl will include The whole crew, I think roughly we’ll get 12-15 minifigures. If Lego are anything to go by with recents big models sets we get full crews/teams etc in the bigger UCS/D2C sets.
