LOL This guy is hilarious on so many levels. Yeah, the bland color is the main reason I don't like the new comics. I even liked Sayger (2006) better. =P ~Bunda

Yeah, same here. I think metallic parts are weaker in general. My Bohrok Kal sockets snapped a lot too. ~Bunda

I hate having all these broken joints. And my old ones have gotten to the age where they're wearing out as well, so joints are cracking left and right. ='/ I like him. A pretty solid set, even though he isn't hunched anymore and he's wearing a Kraahkan. ~Bunda

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Bundalings replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ooh... I like the rock monsters, very cool. And the giant drill is nifty too. Don't really like the colors, though. =/ ~Bunda -
I heard someone say something about a Mata Nui sculpture... I guess it was just them hoping. But dang, I would buy that set, no matter what the cost. At least if it was the Mata Nui stone or the stone giant... ~Bunda

I keep hearing people talk about a system Mata Nui set. Is this speculation or is there really something to this? ~Bunda

And the lack of silver on most of the sets is scrumptious. ~Bunda

It's weird how the only words Antrozek can spell properly are curses. O_o =P He doesn't, but a lot of the things he's saying have been previously theorized. Exactly. If you want more people to believe you you're going to have to stop acting so nasty and give us some proof. ... wow.ANYWAY I like Strakk as well, though I don't know about that body. I built it myself and it's not that good looking... but props to Lego for trying something new. I think I'll be getting Vorox first though. He looks pretty cool, and the tan is nice. ~Bunda

I prefer the bright red and orange of yesteryear. I'm an old fogey. =P ~Bunda
-
I can judge the color scheme before I see better pics. I know how those colors interact, and it's not good. IMO. ~Bunda
-
Antrozek, you're being very rofl. :P ANYWAY What are people's thoughts on Malum's color scheme? I personally find it revolting. I've always hated keetorange and dark red together. =/ ~Bunda

O rly? I've never heard that one. ~Bunda

And why couldn't it be a coincidence? Lol you guys. ~Bunda

Huh, I had the Grimace one. It's sad that Lego stopped doing good McD promos... the last, I think, were the Mctoran of 2001... those were good sets. ~Bunda
-
You posted several of them,XD and I found at least one. I think the others were deleted. Of course all the leaked info was censored, so... ~Bunda

What's your BZP screen name? I'm trying to find your profile. ~Bunda Edit: Where did you get the info?
-
Greg's grammar isn't that bad, I think Antrozek's just playing it up like he knows the end. I mean, there's no way he could until The Final Battle is released. Besides, he won't tell us where he got the info. ~Bunda
-
O_o You didn't foresee that? People don't like to be spoiled, and BZP enforces their rules. Most of them are perfectly valid, IMO. ~Bunda

That's so epic it hurts. >_< Does it remind anyone else of Forerunner architecture from Halo? ~Bunda

Bionicle, followed closely by the new castle/fantasy era. ~Bunda

LEGO Collector Premium Edition REVIEW
Bundalings replied to Kernow's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ooh... this looks like a must have. A bit pricey, and I guess I'll have to get it through Bricklink, but I guess it would be worth it... ~Bunda -
I'm not too sure about the color scheme... sand green and red? Doubtless great MOCing parts, (I see some handy Bionicle recolors as well) but I'm not sold on those colors put together. I guess I'll wait for better pics before I get hypercritical. Great parts though... ~Bunda

Looks exactly the same. I hope it looks the same in person... great for revamps. I've never minded the Mistika. Heck, Krika is one of my favorite sets ever. And the Glatorian sets look great as well, excluding Metus, (freaky mask, might look better when he get pics) Atakus, (annoying proportions, hideous mask, again, he might be better than he looks) Malum, (BORING) and Tuma. (a freaking mess of parts, can't tell limb from limb, boring and thoroughly revolting at the same time. Maybe a bit better in real life, but I don't think I'll ever find any love in my heart for this guy. Some lovely parts, though.) But for the most part 2009 looks great. I haven't been this optimistic about new sets since the Barraki, and they didn't disappoint. BTW, despite appearances, probably not many people changed their minds about [insert new set line]. It's just different people talking. When the pics first appear, the loud, angry people vent, and by the time they come out, the quieter happy people are discussing. I'm not saying no one ever changes their mind, but it probably doesn't happen as often as one would think. ~Bunda
