Now there a good pictures from the front and medium ones from the back available, I must say, I don't like the car. The roof is great with the cloth piece, but the rest looks so blocky and squared. The ideas submission was so much better when it comes to details and the wood parts on the side who keep the barrels connected. A lot of the +750 pieces will bei tiny 1x1 plates and stones I think.

Just a tip for the rims "30155" in light bluish grey. I ordered the parts over the last week to build Red 5 and there were two dilemmas: Either the price was ok but the quantity available was 1-2 or the quantity available was 3+ and the price was around 5-8€. Then I tried to order the complete assembly rim + tire and I was able to find some more sellers with good prices. I ordered 6 for 0,11 cents per piece and 6 for 0,13 per piece. They used a DSLR and a tripod but their images are blurry and noisy as hell. It looks like they used their smartphones to capture some fast shots of the ship before TLG takes it away from them.

I can agree with you that the proportions of the new ISD are buy far the more movie accurate ones. At the moment it just feels so tiny because it stands where 6211 stood before, whichs boosts this feeling a little bit more. As I pointed out in my review the old one might be better for kids who actually play with this set instead of us AFOLs who just put them on the shelf. The play features are even more limited than they were in 6211. For myself I'm missing a little more detail in the rear room of the ISD. Why did Lego exclude Vaders chamber? This would be so much cooler than a control panel or a weapon rack. A little holding cell would also be better than just free space. I think in a few days I don't mind that the new version is smaller because like my previous speakers said it just looks amazing ;-)

I've made a short video comparing 75055 and 6211. I hope it'll helps everyone who isn't sure if the set is worth buying or not, especially if you have the old version.

I took some quick comparison shoots after building the new Star Destroyer. The technic pins who are connecting the openings sides are jarring like crazy if you will open them. I took this section three times apart because I thought I built something wrong but it seems to be normal. Very strange. I let the photos talk for themselves. In my opinion the new version looks "tiny". Today I got the Star Destroyer, AT-AT, Cantina, B-Wing and Snowspeeder. If I have the time I'll make a comparison video with 6211 and 8129 for you.

You will have the first problem by finding this piece http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=88646 in grey. I think the AT-AT is the first set where this plate comes in grey.

The AAT would be too small for a 100€/$ set and 6 mini figures (or even more) would be too much for a 50€/$ set. So I guess it will be the MTT.

I think this is a mistake on the box, because I don't think the ISD will have the totally identical piece count like the Ghost ;-)

The overall proportions of the new version are better than in 6211 (i.e. the indentations are now smaller and located more in the front like it is in the movies). On the counterpart the new bridge looks too small for me. The brick over the bridge has been reduced by two studs from 6 to 4 studs. The shield generators are now directly mounted to the roof and not leveled like before. I'm really looking forward to see the inside of the ISD.

This looks amazing. I'm hoping Lego will release another UCS version of this ship ;-)

Yes next week (29.01-03.02) is the Nürnberg Toy Fair in Germany. As far as I know the visitors are allowed to take pictures, but if the GotG sets are hidden (like in London), I think there won't be a chance to take a picture of them.
