I'm rather curious about the size of that Bat-bot. Also, I like your rendition of the Batcave. Looks much better than Legos in my opinion, with the various levels and rooms. Finally, do you have anymore pictures of your Bat-boat?

I more than certain that the prices for the 09 sets will be the same prices given to the sets that are released at the beginning of every year in the US: 2x $10 (Bps) 2x $20 1x $40 1x $50 This has been like this for both 2007 and 2008.

Right now, these current "prices" just look like a flawed attempt at converting the prices in euros into U.S. dollars.

They reason those BP's at TRU cost $13 is because they always bump their prices on Lego. When the recent Clone Wars sets were released, everything they were selling was 5-10 dollars over. So I highly doubt that the price will be $15 per BP. I think all of these prices are wrong infact. TLG would not start a new year with such prices.

I know everyone believes it is better for it to be titled Solar Sailer, instead of Sailor. But who are we to judge the great George Lucas?

When are we going to find out which set it is, Home One or Palpatine's Arrest? Do they plan on waiting until the time of release before telling us?

Perhaps the Solar Sailor and the Pirate Tank will both be more of an "End of the Year" release.

Right now I believe that if this so called speeder exists, its located in the center of the AAT, beneath that hinged cover. Perhaps the regular-armed Battle Droid is further proof of the speeder.

After seeing this new image of the AAT, Yoda doesn't look half bad. Luckily for us its still sand green, with great detail on the forehead, and I think I can spot some white/grey hair on the back of his head.

Is anyone else angry with the Buzz Droids? Three years, and we still don't have a new version.

No, I remember seeing a scene featured in a preview for the TV series showing Anakin and Ahsoka taking on Assasin Droids, and I know for a fact this scene was not in the film.

Theres a good chance that will be the design of the ship. And as for your question about the sets being released before Christmas, that is quite possible as well. New sets released just before the busiest holiday in the year are bound to be hot items.

I know that we already are aware of these sets, but I posted it anyways because we all are not entire sure what we are getting. This kind of rules out our talk of the Solar Sailor and "Pirate Tank."

Theres going to be more 30th anniversary sets in 09? Isn't it late as it?

Well, I guess it is time for me to give my opinion. Lets start with Ahsoka and end with the Shuttle: #7751 Ahsoka's SF & Vulture: In my opinion, only reason I'll buy this is for the new Astromech: R7-A7. I'm getting tiired of all these new Vulture Droids. I have about 4 of the originals, and when I have more than one in a diorama, I want them all to look the same. Oh boy, buzz droids, again. Lego has had 3 years to create a better Buzz Droid, but with no success. Those are the exact same build as before. The JSF itself looks short and bulky to me. I don't know, it may just be how it is displayed on the box. My overall rating 6/10. One new fig, but looks too much like a repeat. #8014 Clone Walker BP: The four clones is good, especially the gunner fig. I also like the fact that we get one of those accessory bags for the clones. The walker itself seems too small for two clones. I'll probably keep the clone gunner, but trade off the other clones, and use the walker for pieces. Overall 5/10. New clone, but set itself is odd. #8015 Assassin Droid BP: Umm, what? The figs themselves seem dumb. Granted, I do like the chrome and black straight arms for BDs, maybe some of those black droids can be turned into Droid Commandos. I like the speeder, kind of disappointed about there being no sticker now. I'll definately use the speeder for Magna Guards. Overall 8/10. I love the speeder, but the choice of figs is different #8016 Hyena Droid Bomber: To tell you the truth, I love this set. In my opinion, it looks like a good build with some very interesting new BDs. Also, now that we have a better shot of its "heads", we see that it doesn't really have two, like we all assumed. Also, it looks like we get the same bomb deployment mechanism as in the Droid Gunship. And, I can't really tell by the picture, but it appears that we get a nice blend of dark bley and dark blue. Overall 8/10. Nice set, good figs, but a little too massive. #8017 Darth Vader's Tie: To me, this looks like a good chance to get the new Vader fig. I love how TLG made this one in black and grey, just how it should be. I've always wondered why they even built the first Ties in black and blue in the first place. If you are an OT fan, I strongly suggest getting one of these, because it has a great fig, and looks movie accurate. I am definately picking one of these up. I've never had a Tie Advance set before, and this one looks absolutely wonderful. Overall 10/10! A great set, with a great classic villian. #8018 AAT: The set itself is impressive. It is a lot smoother, and larger than the original AAT. The figs are good, 4 droids, a clone, and a new Yoda fig. I really love those new arms on the SBDs. Those "cannon arms" look great. Yoda himself is.....odd. He looks too Duplo for my taste. He almost looks like a little Yoda child, actually. Atleast with him we get a new torso, so that might be good for something. I for one can't wait to get my hands on the AAT. The old one does not look too well in my all new CIS collection. Overall 9/10. A very nice set, with some good figs. But that yoda looks odd. I'm hoping that TLG will be true to their word, and have his eyes be colored. Last but not least... #8019 Republic Att Shuttle: I've noticed that all of these are quite similar to first preliminaries. I rather like this set. It'll be good to have another Republic transport, other than my RGS, that can carry troops in my dioramas. I like the missile mechanism on the top of the ship, almost like a repeating launcher. I can't really comment on the missile beneath the ship, guess I'll have to wait for either more pics or the set itself to understand that one. As for the figs, nothing new except for Windu. This'll be a great chance for those of you who missed out on the second CTT to get a non luls Windu, despite the Clone Wars face. The nose of the ship doesn't look like it holds together too well, so that might need some modding. Overall 7/10. A decent set, but not much for the figs.

That is true. TLG has never been entirely accurate when designing their sets. One example of this is the Clone Scout Walker, or AT-RT. It was too large for a minifigure, and had to be tiny compare to the Turbo Tank. And for the Sailor to be accurate, it'd have to be massive, because some pics have shown it to have living quarters and other rooms inside of it.

The Solar Sailor would be extremely difficult, all because of those sails. The plastic used in the Geonosian wings would be good, but also very stiff, and hard to packed into the set. You also face the worry of creases. Being packed into the set, and left that way for some time, once it is let back out again, you no longer have the perfect shape you once had. You also face the problem of the cockpit, which is basically a large sphere. Perhaps they could pull off something similar to the cockpit of the Rogue Shadow, with just the 1 translucent dome in the front.

I'm still shocked by the fact that the Republic (notice the symbol on the cockpit) has aligned themselves with such a cruel political party.

Moc. The Dooku inside the bubble is yellow, not flesh-tone. It is quite impressive though.
