  1. I cracked this open over the Holidays too, it's an interesting build, sort of reminded me of the Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon. It's probably the most interesting build of the big buildings, I've got the Tower of London, Eifel Tower and Taj Mahal as well. Can't wait for Lego's next big set.
  2. Has anyone tried to put the RC (5292) motors into the Crawler?
  3. Can you get LDDs for official sets? Would love to give this a go but don't have mountains of spare lego
  4. Just seen this post, looks like you're in luck. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83544
  5. Just seen this http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Sydney-Opera-House-10234 Looks great..
  6. Stunning work! I've just completed my tower and was a little disappointed it was missing the back wall, lego could have easily hinged the building like the haunted house. Like others, would like to see a LDD.. please!
  7. What lights did you use? I got hold of some power function lights and they were no where near as bright as yours! Or did you just long expose the photos?
  8. I hear you there, I can understand TLG wanting to keep sets neutral. Which is a shame as most the impressive buildings around the globe are places of worship. Castle Neuschwanstein is an interesting idea, have thought about creating one myself..
  9. I have the Tower Bridge, Eifel Tower and the Taj Mahal.. I'm waiting for another big build from Lego.. like a 6,000 piece Sagrada Familia or something along those lines.
  10. Yikes, the ebay auction I missed out on was a completed set with the box and instructions, I think it went for £800 in the end. If the prices for this set and the pieces are what you say they are now I probably wouldn't have done this. Unfortunately, due to lack of room in my house I'm going to have to disassemble my Falcon :-(
  11. I think I got a good deal on the ebay auction! Plus some of the pieces aren't the right colour which saved me some money
  12. I did the same thing last year after missing out on an ebay auction. I ended up getting a 1/5 of the pieces from another ebay auction, I used bricklink for most of the other parts. Where a high quantity of some pieces was needed I had to go to lego in the end. Also I ordered some parts a slightly different colour as it was far, far cheaper. Oh, my radar dish is blank as well. Think in all it cost me about £500.
  13. I've just purchased this set and had the same problem, looks like the red channel on the rc controller is faulty. I've just emailed lego and await their response.
