Hi there I hope this is the right place to put this topic - I'm finalising a 6980 Galaxy Commander restoration project and have the LEGO itself completed. Attention is now turning to the box which needs some TLC - would anyone who owns the box be kind enough to pm me if they could email me any scans of it, particularly the vertical left and right box sides so I can see what images should be there? Looking at images on (for example) Google seem only to show the top of the box. Many thanks if possible and for any advice!

A landing pad for a mini-Falcon would be a good addition to this superb model - ie along the lines of the mini Tie Fighter with the Death Star...!

Here it is! This is all self-contained and MOC'd using only the parts of the original tender... it did take quite a while to sort. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for your ideas. Last year I put the motor as the first set of wheels in the passenger carriage but this year I'm determined to contain everything in the engine or tender. I'm pleased to say I've just managed it - the receiver is in the cab of the train and the motor is powering the tender with a set of those nice 'wheel covers' to make it blend in. I've had to modify slightly the back of the tender to accomodate but am pleased it is all self contained. Also, the lights follow the tank of the engine from the lamps at the front (raised slightly on a 1x1 round tile each side) and disappear unseen into the cab under a 2x1 inverted black slope each side. I can now add the passenger carriage to my Emerald Night now and again as it is completely independent!!

Hi all I'm struggling to add Power Functions + lights to my 10173 Holiday Train (squeezing in all the P/F parts, where to locate the motor and receiver etc!) Has anyone successfully managed it?! I'd be really grateful for any suggestions!! Many thanks in advance...

Hi I Scream Clone Seconds of background, my brother got the Yellow Castle 375 a Christmas in the late 70's, I've just got my first LEGO Castle in with the superb current King's Castle and am really keen to reach out to other Castle fans, finding out what what we enjoy, are looking for and am keen to start an adventure! Apologies in advance if not appropriate to post on this one, just so keen to meet and link up with likeminded folk!

The Joust set does look epic - attached is only a quick pic edit but gives some idea how good it looks with King's Castle..!

Good review and nice set - although I've got 4504 and can't justify the expense of this. BUT the front is crying out for some power functions lights!!

Finally plunged for the 10188 Death Star - can't wait to start building it. The box is unbelievably heavy!

I keep checking LS@H as Alien Conquest and (I think) Harry Potter sets came out quite a bit earlier than expected. Has anyone got a definate UK price for the Podracers? There is quite a big difference between 99 Euros and 89 Dollars (!)

Hi friends, I'm a huge Star Wars and Classic Space fan and am looking to get one of two packages.... which would you get and why?! 1) 10188 Death Star - is it really as good as everyone says - has it ever been out of LEGO's top 20 @ LS@H?! or 2) Alien Conquest: Earth Defence Unit PLUS New Pod Racers out shortly, and still have <probably> £100 left! Thanks for any tips/comments etc:

Just an awesome theme - huge nod to Classic Space which is (long) overdue!! I 've already got the Alien Defender and can't wait to get more. A great start to a theme with huge potential - let's hope there is a huge Earth Defence Spaceship on its way!! I like the idea too of different colour ADU minifigs maybe as the theme unfolds although the new-blue team look great. Btw, minifigs say ADU which is "Alien Defence Unit" but there is an "Earth Defence HQ" and an "Alien Defender" - are the goodies Alien Defence or Earth Defence? Maybe both - why not..?! Bring 'em on!

I'm in the UK and to qualify for the promotion I phoned at 8am on May 3rd to order Tantive IV which I've been wanting for ages but holding out for an offer. This came today with the poster but no minifig - instead I have been sent a Boba Fett keychain which is quite cool (but not obviously the Shadow Trooper). I phoned to see what had happened and was advised they had ran out of the promotional minifig which is suprising considering I phoned at the start of the promotion but I guess those early-hour web-buyers may have beaten me to it! All in all though a good promotion and I'm happy with the discounted Tantive IV. Great review, great set! I picked this one up today (my first AC set) and the new space astro minifig is fantastic! (the bad guy is really cool too). All the other sets also look amazing, I hope this is the start of a new long line of space type sets...!

Thank you for the replies, will re-replace the body with another one! I do wish there were more 'space' minifig parts!!

Hi LDD fans - I was really excited to see the new Space minifig body (black with controls on front etc) with the new LDD release and have updated my spacemen on it. All priced ok when checking the cost of my potential models using the new body piece since the update a week or so ago but suddenly it is not pricing models with this new minifig body - does any one know why this is or if its going to be sorted ok again soon? Thanks for any advice..!

It's just a real shame there is a monthly subscription for this - although if you are happy about that this looks like a bargain!

Thanks for the advice and indeed to all those who have offered advice on Ninjago! I think I'm going to try the smaller sets (not the game as such) and see how things go from there...
