I hope whoever possesses this catalogue is kind enough to take full pictures of the X-Men and GotG sets soon. Who knows what other minifigures may be included in the X-Men set.

Put me down for the Green Goblin and Electro Spider-Man sets. Definitely want that Flash in the Riddler Chase though. I was really hoping to see a new fig for Man-Bat. Who knows, these are prelims, so maybe there is something better planned.

Yea, I couldn't get into the series for that same exact series. Characters like the Joker or Riddler have always been the central villains for stand-alone Batman cartoons. I just couldn't get excited for a new series that wouldn't even feature those characters.

I'm gonna wait until I see the LEGO Official design for this Cuusoo set. A really good use for it is to modify the exo-suit into resembling Iron Monger from the first Iron Man film in 2008. The set would make a good head start to adding that Marvel villain to my LEGO Marvel Superhero collection.

Curious how Green Goblin will look. Will it be a completely new version or the one we got in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man film.

I would just hate to see the series end after 2 years with LEGO having so much more they can do. I felt the same way when the original Batman series ended. They released the game which featured countless other favorites of Batman's rogue gallery (Clayface, Man-bat, Mad Hatter) but they never got minifigs of their own. I'd just hate to see the same happen with the new LEGO-ized DC characters, as well as the additional ones to be included in the Marvel Heroes game.

Does anyone know if the Super Heroes series is doing well enough that LEGO will try to renew the contracts with DC and Marvel? That is always my concern when thinking of future set ideas.

I was thinking of picking up this set for this exact same purpose. What mods did you have to make exactly? I'm assuming the cockpit needs some tweaking in order to fit Batman inside with his cowl.

So were there no LEGO Marvel or DC reveals at the German Toy Fair?

Yea, I'm sure it'll be explained there. I just hope the Mandarin minifig gets revealed next. Or at least that mystery green guy that is suppose to be in one of the IM3 sets. I've seen all I've needed to for Man of Steel.

I don't get why 1 fig would have the blue eyes and chest piece and the other wouldn't.

The Superman sets will be refreshing in terms of the DC sets. Getting tired of the Batman overload. Sure, we got Superman and Wonder Woman in the earlier sets, and Aquaman more recently, but Batman has been dominating the market.

I'm putting all my cards on the Ultimate Spider-Man series as our only hope for a Coulson figure. The character is identical to the one we've seen in the films, thankfully. All we need now is an episode which gives him a lot of screen time, possibly as the central character. I know we had one where he faces off against the Beetle, but we probably won't see another set based off that episode. I wish LEGO would go back and look at the films prior to the Avengers for set ideas, rather than just focus on the films to come. I'd like an Abomination figure to scale with the Hulk we got, as well as Iron Monger from Iron Man and Whiplash's final battle suit from Iron Man 2.

I must admit that that listing of characters does not have me excited for this new series whatsoever.

For some reason, that same site says that 76007 Marvel Superheroes Set 4 and 76006 Iron Man Extremis are expected "January 15th, 2013," which is tomorrow?

Not to mention that with the LEGO Marvel Superheroes video game coming out at the end of 2013, LEGO will have a lot of fresh ideas for sets, with some possibly featuring the Fantastic Four and Galactus. I know its a long shot, but I'd really like this license to last long enough to get sets for Avengers 2.

I hope we get some Thor 2 sets as well. Just how long is LEGO's license with Marvel and DC set up for? I can't imagine this series ending after 2013 since there is so much LEGO could do within each license, unlike before when they were limited to just Batman or Spider-Man. As with the War Machine figure, does it seem like the torso, arms, and legs are a new color? They look dark bley to me, but perhaps with a stronger shade of blue. Anyone else getting this vibe?

Yea, I had to set up an account on EB when I saw that War Machine fig. I've been dying for some sneak peaks at the upcoming Iron Man 3 sets. I'm glad we'll be getting War Machine, I'd like to add him to the rest of my Avengers.
