Modulex are rare vintage? Aw.. I just missed out 15 kg (!) of them on a yard sale for $50. I didn´t buy them because they weren´t LEGO size..
-
Er.. Happily. Happily!
-
..When you by a crappy comic book just to get that small exclusive LEGO set (or the figure) coming with it.

Very nice! I really like the water design! Do you mind if I steal borrow those thrash can / arch designs? Can you ask him to get a cup for me too?

...when you hear a child say "Look Mommy, I found a LEGO piece on the ground", you run to him (/her) and say "Oh, I think that was mine, thanks" and take the piece (or Star Wars fig ) from him.

Fabuland Builders Guild - Discussion Thread

Ooh, I want that Sinner head! (Nope, I will never call him Siegfried. He is marked "Sinner" for life! ) -
You can call wood a 2x4 as well? So true, has happened to me numerous times. Sometimes I can´t even lie in my bed at night due to me using it as storage space for half-built MOCs or rare pieces. ...Or your younger sister, who´s not even into lego! (A while I wondered where all my rare pieces were, they disappeared all the time.. until I saw my dear sis trying to put them on eBay. )

Ah, a great MOC indeed! I have to admit, the first thing I thought when I saw the words "1930" and "4-wide", I thought; "Oh, another one of those crappy classic 1980-style 4-wide cars. When I saw the first picture though, it hit me like a shockwave. (OK, I like to exaggerate... ) It..looked good? Not even that, it looked good even wth those crappy mudguards! (Nope, no :blsuh: this time ) I do not say this about a non 5- or 7-wide vehicle often, so see it as a compliment ; may we have some in-build pics? By the way, it looks great in black. Best color choice for this kind of car. Kinda looks like an old taxi..^^

Kinda looks like a giant manta ray... Panels ftw!

*cough*Günzburg Event*cough* ...when the worst thing your mum can punish you with is to take away a piece of your LEGO (or throw a piece away... ...I´ll never be disobedient again... ) ...Ban Roadwalker!! :skull:

Misprints and Other LEGO Production Oddities

I´ve got a white-red marbled 1x2 plate (white is primary colour). I´ve also got a "scarred" Mutt head. -
Yeah, the sports car. Yellow? It´s black in your pic! Btw, they do exist in yellow, from the new 7641 set. Probably just not inventoried.

Ralph, wonderful MOCs, as always. That school bus is wonderful, but somehow it looks.. a little too big, compared to your other cars. However that may just be me, because I use to be quite picky about sizes, even a 1 plate too high vehicle can mess it all up for me, making me rebuild it in order to make it fit with my other vehicles. Still, it looks really good. That blue/white sportscar.. Wonderful, definately one of my favourites, together with your ambulance and dark red car (btw, thank you for the in-build pics ). How did you connect the front light part to the rest of the car? The "detachable roof" is however a bit blocky, did you try using one of these? If you did; how did it look? I usually don´t really like the look of these wheels (makes a MOC look more <insert that tiresome argument> IMO), although your MOCs (almost ) make then look good. TLG really shold make other wheels in the same size though.. Keep up the good work, you have really inspired me and helped me to get a better 5/7-wide car builder. Thanks to your tips, advice and your MOCs´ tricks and features I have went from this: To this: ...Thank you. *runs away to hide in the corner*

Needing ALL dark blay baseplates
Dennimator replied to Dennimator's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
$15?!? Whoa.. Well, yeah, i should buy a few.. Amounts changed shortly. -
Hello everyone, It´s been a while since i´ve been on the forums (or done anything LEGO-related actually), however now I´m in the middle of revamping my LEGO city. To do this, I need lots of the new, dark bley roadplates. However I can´t buy them from a shop, because they are packed 2 and 2 with diffetent plates, straight/crossroad (7280) and curve/T-junction (7281). Since I need more straights and T-junctions than I need crossroads and curves, I wanted to buy them separately. However, BL didn´t have them in right quantities. Anyway, what I need is: Straight road x25 T-junction roadplates x3 I can pay 3.5$ each for these. I prefer buying them in bulks 10+. I do also have older light gray and green roadplates I can trade against them. Please PM me or post in this topic if you have any of the dark bley plates to sell/trade. Thanks.

Very nice work! I especially like the "lateral movement" of the roof. I´m actually working on something similiar myself, so may I lend that technique? It would be a big improvement to my building.

Well then, see you at the Eurohotel parking lot next year! -
Very nice!! 70 sigfigs... I want! How did you build jifels? Did he give you instructions?
-
Do you have a sig-fig? Can you show a pic?
-
Very nice! That Vader... What type of colour did you use, and where did you get that trans (or white?) sticker? I´ve wanted one of those for a long time, but I can´t find a good spray paint or sticker.. Awesome work, though!

aerials found in 2009 new sets
Dennimator replied to paul_delahaye's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, that´s happened to me, too. The first time I noticed it was in the 2008 IJ sets, however I actually think the looser ones are way better. The "old" ones are way too hard to remove, these are just fine. The same with the seats, I think it´s better now. I haven´t had any bad experience with my new Yoda heads, they are really good and stick to the torso as good as a normal minifig head. However I have noticed that the normal heads in the new (SW) magnet packs are really hard to get off the torsos. -
Absolutely fantastic! I especially like the furniture. Can we have close-up pics on how they are built? Especially this one: I just it!

Watch it, or I´ll let something like this happen to you. EDIT: Whoops, wrong link. Fixed now.
