Um.. Pic doesn´t show up.. Maybe you got a link?

...got nothing to do with the faith of Lego at all!" Terminator said, "In fact, it has everything to do with it." The surprised Mark said...

Yeah, sorry, I meant crossroads, not T-junctions. Yup, thats the bad part, and basically that means that you will have to pay double the prize for the plate, as you mostly don´t use the other plate.

I prefer dark bley roadplates, however the straight ones seem difficult to get without wasting alot of extra money, due to the stupid packing way (1 straight, 1 crossroad). I have a lot of the older green ones (and pretty many old gray ones too), but I don´t really like them, as the streets are a bit too narrow, and they don´t really give that 'city-look' I´m after. The green ones are great for building suburbs or villages, though.

Wow. Just wow. I´ve never seen anyone build a building that plain and make it look great at the same time. 'Looking great' usually means alot of tiny details, etc. This is great in another way... Well, I can´t really describe it. I also like the interior design, you´ve got some very nice ideas there! Especially that green container, could we get a close-up pic of it? EDIT: Oh, and of the wheelbarrow too?

...screamed "Hey! What about the faith of Lego?!?" Suddenly..

..."Keep the story flowing!" Mark was shocked by this creepy voice filling the air and... Oh, come on guys... Last years story was over 10 pages long, I know you can do better. Inform people about the thread, if you can/want.

Don´t tell my mom... Oh, and Kim... Nice title.. Who gave it to you? Maybe a Swede who lives in Gothenburg? -
Thanks. Sure, feel free to use it. I got the idea from the sliding doors in the Star Wars series, and built a replica of them in a SW vignette (pics coming soon in SW forum). This is my first try to use it without a wall behind, and I think it turned out pretty well. Yeah, exactly.

A few days ago I got this great idea of building my own IRL house in mini-scale for my avatar fig (he haven´t got a home since my cute and friendly sis ruined his house by kicking it and stomping on it (some pieces even got destroyed... including my only MINT milky white antenna... ) in March. Anyway, I ordered some pieces on BL for around $150-200. (A bit expensive... ) Hopefully the last wall parts will arrive tomorrow. Here is a pic of the base form of the house (and some already arrived BL orders), as well as the greenhouse: Something in this pic belongs to Roadwalker... Can you find it? And the greenhouse (the yellow piece will be replaced with a white one): Working slide door: Please tell me what you think about it so far. I will update this post as soon as I build more on the house.

...letting guinea pigs and rabbits invade all the LEGOlands and toy stores, scratching and biting on all pieces, carving in the "Mega Bloks" name in them instead of the "LEGO". Mark replied... (Sorry Milan, Tereglith was 1st. )
-
...LEGO existing, destroying every single piece in the whole world, leaving only Mega Bloks. The secret is... Tereglith, that´s a good idea with another thread with the contest. IMO if we did it in the same thread it would be too messy.

Eurobricks Event 2010 in Billund.

Nah, there is no age rule. If there was I would´ve been kicked out of last years event as soon as I arrived.. -
...A young man was walking on the for now windy streets, looking for... That´s an interesting idea Shadows, but if you don´t mind, I´d like to stick to the original idea. Also, if you (read: anyone) wants to write something off-topic, like you did, please write it in a different colour. Thanks.

Last year (as well as 2006), we had a It was a Dark and Stormy Night... We (at least I) had pretty fun, so I´d like to start a new one for 2009 as well. (The following are mostly copy/pasted from TheBricksters -08 thread) Also, if you want to write something off-topic, please write it in a different colour, eg. red, blue, green etc. So, it seems like I´m the one getting the honour to start the game this time ( ): It was a Dark and Stormy Night...

Yeah, as I said before any of the dates (don´t get this wrong! ) are fine with me, including this one. And as Freddie said, please try to keep the dates this time.

Good job! I love how you used the cheese slopes in the front window, great idea. However I don´t really like the gaps in the back, as they make the vehicle look a bit thrown together. I agree with Milan, you should use some kind of slope. I just love the working lights! Great work with that. Overall a nice vehicle. Maybe the wheels from last year´s post van would be more appropiate to the original, but, as I said, great work.

Hey guys! I´m in the middle of revamping my LEGO city. To do this, I need some of the new, dark bley roadplates. However I can´t buy them from a shop, because they are packed 2 and 2 with different plates, straight/crossroad (7280). Since I need more straight roads than I need crossroads, I wanted to buy them separately. However, BL don´t have them, and are far too expensive. Anyway, what I need is: Straight road x11 I can pay $4-$4.50 each for these. I do have both older light gray and green roadplates I can trade against them, if that suits you better. Please PM me or post in this topic if you are interested. Thanks.

*Jaw drops* I don´t know what to say, but... Wow!

Ok, I found out that that piece in light bluish gray wasn´t as cheap as I thought on BL, so if you guys got spare ones in large quantities, please help me out here. Thanks! ^^
-
EDIT: I got them in Dark bley instead, so I don´t need these anymore. I´m currently building a house, and for the walls I need about 500 of this piece in Light bluish gray, the "Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 2 Sides" (number 47905). They aren´t very cheap on BL in that quantity, so if I could get the bricks for around $0.10 from anyone on EB (or of course trade for them), I´d really appreciate it. Here´s a pic: If you got large quantities of this piece (over 100) that you are able to trade/sell to me, please respond by replying in this thread or sending me a PM. Thanks.
