Players Only Please in your anonymous accounts! Make sure you change your password! Day One: A New Beginning It was a brand new day at Fort Eldorado. The garrison arrived and stood at attention to hear the Governor's daily speech. Liam, one of the last holdovers of the reshuffle, finished putting the flag up. "Wheee!" he said. "Flaggy and I are happy to be in this game too!" "I have very sad news." Governor Broadside started. "Once again our fort has been infiltrated by traitors. This time, though, the dastardly Redbeard isn't behind it. Our arch-enemies, the Imperial Guards, have sent in their forces!" "Oh no!" everyone shouted in unison. "Since mafia worked so well for us last time, we're going to do it again!" Meanwhile... At the Imperial Fort... "Governor. Our forces have successfully infiltrated the Soldiers' base." a Lieutenant said. "Excellent. Soon my master plan will be realized." "Are you going to tell us the master plan?" "No." --- Day One has now begun! There are 96 hours left in this day. With 16 players, a majority of 9 is required to sent someone to the firing line. Players (16): Governor Broadside - NPC Remi Blaise - Captain of the Caribbean Clipper Jean Pelley - Lieutenant, First Mate Fred Dumont - Lieutenant Peter Lyon - Lieutenant of the Fort Michael Lavoie - Seaman Daniel Lucas - Seaman Trenton Monette - Sergeant Justin Reynaud - Soldier Emmett Ware - Soldier Andrew Laurent - Soldier Aiden Leon - Soldier Joshua Levitt - Soldier Alex Howe - Soldier Fabien Bellamy - Trumpeter Vincent Denis - Tubist Robin Tremblay - Conductor Rules (VERY IMPORTANT):1) Every player has received their own character account. The town need to eliminate the scum and the scum need to outnumber the town. In the hopefully unlikely event of a parity, the scum will win. Any third party characters have their own win conditions.4) There are no recruits or any action similar in this game.5) A game day will last 96 hours. You may vote as soon as the day starts. Note, even if a majority vote is achieved, the day will not end early. Nights will last at most 48 hours, during which you can send in your night actions. We're just waiting on one more person and we should be able to start a bit later on today.

Rule 5 has been given an addendum as well. Please only PM during the night phase. This includes the scum. The scum may communicate now before Day One starts.

Aw nuts, I forgot to substitute soon for Bob sucks.
-
Very soon.

So, Paul was a ninja blocker, which means that he would not be seen at night. From what I've read, it means he can also dodge certain investigation results about the role, such as the nature of it. Robert did not get the result "no night action" because that would have been wrong. Instead, he got the result of "cannot determine role." We still have several spots open based on people that cannot participate in the sequel, so if you'd like to join please do so!
-
You might notice as well that most of the characters in the conclusion are turned away from camera. That's because I'd made all the new minifigures and then remembered that I needed to film a conclusion.
-
I think we need to have a conversation though. People clocked your identity in the Confirmation Thread. I think in anonymous games you need to play a bit differently.
-
On Night Two, where William was the only active scum, I allowed him to do all of Louis' actions too. William was the killer, Paul was a ninja blocker, and Louis was a framer. I had originally given Louis the option to take Paul's blocker, but when I didn't hear from him I just allowed William to do it, giving him a record three night actions on one night.
-
Thank you! I'd like to echo what you said earlier though: I absolutely do not blame anyone who had to drop out and I hope they're all doing fine. We're in unusual times and not everyone can devote their full attention to a mafia game on a LEGO forum. I think the best option is to restart with different characters and accounts.
-
--- Conclusion: An End of an Era "Louis, we all think it's you." "Except me!" William shouted. "I think it's Ethan. That noob act isn't fooling me." "Louis! You are to be executed!" Bang! "Excellent work boys." Governor Broadside said, sloshed. Suddenly, the host appeared! "Hello everyone!" Bob said. "It's been awhile since I appeared in one of my games. Let me explain how the game is over with only two scum dead." "Is it because I'm the other scum and I'm being mod-killed?" William asked. "Yes. So, unfortunately all the scum sort of vanished after Day One. Paul had to drop out, Louis vanished off the face of the Earth and had to be replaced by Ansel, and William hasn't posted in a day thread since Day One, except the last few moments of Day Three in which he voted for the town investigator." "It seemed like a good idea at the time!" he added "So, I was talking with people behind the scenes, and we've decided to reboot the game and go straight to Pirates Mafia III since this game sort of petered out. I'm hosting three games in a row now." See you soon! --- A time later, Jack Alden and Ethan Odgen approached a man at the secret pirate base. "Arrr, bad news sir. All our operatives were found out. Well, two were - one was modkilled." "Don't worry, Uncle Jack!" the man said. "It's all part of the plan." "I will free my father, no matter the cost." --- So, we are rebooting of sorts. I've decided to give everyone new characters that I quickly made and rework things. I will share the night actions results a bit later. If you'd like to take part in the reboot (technically Pirates Mafia III), please indicate here or PM me. Some of you have already indicated to me that you want to take part again. This is sort of a mix between a conclusion and a sign up thread. If you did not take part in Pirates II and would like to take part in Pirates III, you can let me know here or in PM. We are still looking for 16 players, but there's always space for more. We at least need a few replacements for the scum that can't take part in the next game and some that won't be able to play for whatever reason. If there's confusion, I might put up a separate sign up thread for Pirates III. Thanks! I'll reserve commenting on this game until after Pirates III.

Players Only Please in your anonymous accounts! --- Day Three: Ghosts of Pirates Past "Well now, Mr. Trumpet." Robert started. "Look at the sea. Let's play for the fish." Robert bent over to play his trumpet for the fish when a figure appeared behind him and pushed him in. "I can't swim! Help! Trumpet! Help!" But nobody heard him. All that remained of Robert was his hat, and trumpet. "Good morning!" the Governor started. "We have good news and bad news. The good news is that Lieutenant LaPointe was a Pirate Traitor! The bad news is that Robert Walsh was killed last night and was a Loyal Soldier." "Yay!" everyone cheered. "But also, not yay." --- There is 96 hours left in the day. Two announcements. One, we're no longer looking for a replacement. Two, I know everyone is likely up to their ears hearing about the Covid-19 virus, however I've decided to raise the day time from 72 hours to 96 hours, or four "real life" days. I know that this might seem like quite a lot to some people, and I don't think any other mafia game has had such long days, but there's others that need more time and there's a lot of changes in some people's lives, and I expect that there will be more changes as the days go on in our lives. For example, I have to get more set up to prepare to teach with distance learning. Some people have to take care of their children who are now at home, and some have to adapt to working from home. I believe the length of nights is appropriate for now, I don't foresee having to change it. I will accept night actions, as usual, up to the 48 hour mark. Thanks for making Days One and Two the most posted in mafia threads in a very long time!

Hey chumps, the day's over. Go post in the night thread. Governor Broadside was finishing his fifth martini of the afternoon when Benjamin Samuels approached him. "They've decided upon Lieutenant LaPointe, sir." "What? Huh? Oh, right. Carry out the execution!" Kendall played his drums in a way to prepare everyone for execution. "Do you have any last words?" Captain Hendry asked. "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." Lieutenant LaPointe said. Bang! With that, Paul LaPointe was dead. Get those night actions in! I'll be making an announcement shortly in the confirmation thread!
