  1. I just saw your brickshelf ... its a pretty cool axle design
  2. its not a gear in the axle who are slipping, it's a gear in the front of the chassis who take the power from the middle section of the chassis to make the front end steer... its custom made and can be easily fix but the fact is that I have use 16 gear to make my steering system and its to much friction to make it reliable.
  3. In my next 8x8 crawler project I have the intention of trying a setup with the two rear axle with 2 L motor each (a motor for each wheel). the two front axles only will steer with a servo, an L motor and a differential on each axle... and all axles will be floating with 4 links and horizontal chock absorber. Did someone know if its a goon idea or if a topic already talk about this setup?
  4. So, I tried the truck this morning. It drove very well for it's massive size for 1 hour... And then the direction fails, too much gear to make 8 wheels steer with 2 servos and the gears was not locked enough and they began to skip... It's a good thing that I was decided to try another concept before this morning... I have 2 choices, improve the concept or start a new project... I choose the second one.
  5. tank's thank's... sorry English is not my best language...
  6. Does a 4 links floating suspention with mog's ball joints flex less than a floating suspention without them or is it the same ???
  7. My 8x8 crawler use the 9398 suspension and it doesn't flex enough, your floating axle suspension seems to flex more with less resistance and look stable... I will try that in my next 8x8 crawler...
  8. I will keep the black and yellow color scheme but I'll buy some parts to make it look better... I'll make a video when the battery pack and the receiver will be installed, hope I'll have some time this week...

  18. It will be 8 wheels steer with 2 servos, so the front axles and the rear axles will be independent steering. It's 5:30 in the morning, and I can't wait to build the chassis I will post my progress by the end of the day...
