The De-Evolution of Lego Action Figure Packaging
bacem replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
i think, the use of resealable bag was for reducing cost. and besides, many people actually prefer the bag because it's easier to store. and personally, ialso like it. the resealable bags can be used to store some snacks, like cheetos, cheese ball, or potato chips. it actually feels kinda cool when i eat cheese balls from Furno XL bag. -
oh? Jogjakarta? have you eat Gudeg yet? if not, make sure you eat it the next time you go there. oh, and what's that above the egg? is it young bamboo?

as usual, great MOC! so, this is the third in the "lancer" series. given that they have different colour, maybe you're gonna make it like power rangers? 5 different colour? anyway, i really like the lance, especially the spiral part.

food is a part of culture. so, i want to know about special food in your city. i mean, the kind of food that makes people think of your city the moment they see it or hear its name, for example, when someone says "pizza" people will say italia, that kind of logic. but i'm talking about the one in your city, not country. so, please tell me which city do you live, what's your city's special food, a little explanation about it, and, if possible, picture to make me drool . let's start with mine. i live in Surabaya, Indonesia. my city's special food is "lontong balap". it is made from lontong, a staple food made from rice wrapped in banana leaf, beansprouts, fried Indonesian tofu, lentho, some kind of fried food made from mung beans with spice, and Indonesian shrimp paste sauce. usually, it is accompanied with "sate kerang", an Indonesian clam kebab. this is what it looks like: lontong: lentho: so, now, your turn.

i'm not really into minifigures, but i agree with that guy's suggestion about giving a minifigure with the ultrabuilds. i think it's kind of cool. i can make a scene where mini Gorzan goes "power up" and turn into big Gorzan.

Opinions on stuff we need, and stuff that is destroying LEGO
bacem replied to Cardinal's topic in General LEGO Discussion
i'm not into licensed and superhero themes. but you know, just because you think "man, superhero themes sucks, they don't deserve to exist", doesn't mean that everybody will agree too. there are a lot of LEGO fan (AFOL and KFOL) that goes, like, "WOW!!, A LEGO SUPERHEROES! AWESOME", or "man, those Star Wars ships are so cool!". from what i see, Star Wars and LOTR (and the hobbit too. those who goes for LOTR will certainly goes for The Hobbit too) are what sells the most. And Superhero themes is still growing. seeing that there will be a lot of Superhero movies ahead, they will grow bigger certainly. -
wow, awesome review as always! so Cragger actually use larger torso piece. before, i was very sure that he used the medium torso.

looking at Stormer again, it looks like his helmet doesn't look as big as his Breakout helmet. and those Furno/pyrox flame piece in Trans light blue on his hand looks cooler again now.

six combiner huh? that's pretty interesting. the one that interest me the most are "Super-Worriz" and Super-Razar". "super-Worriz" because i wamt to know how a combination of Worriz and Cragger's colors would turn out. "Super-Razar" because, well, doesn't a combination of crow and gorilla instanly makes you thing about a muscular crow-man?

don't know if this is the right forum so i just put it here. so, today i opened normal LDD and came across a purple Breakout Hero Core piece: as far as i know, normal LDD only have Pieces with color that's already produced, but to my knowledge, there are no Hero Factory set that contain this piece in purple. so, which set is this piece come from?
