  1. A-Wing, Set 75003 is £21.52 on Amazon, not a great saving but a few quid cheaper then normal, I have two of these its one of my favourite sets recently http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0094J2BZ0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B0094J2BZ0&linkCode=as2&tag=finbri-21 Jabbas Palace, 9516, is £78.89, which is a decent discount, not the cheapest its ever been I dont think, but close. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0074566JS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B0074566JS&linkCode=as2&tag=finbri-21 Also the Lego Friends set 41008 is 20% off (apparently) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0094J5DSC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B0094J5DSC&linkCode=as2&tag=finbri-21 not my thing, but I know they are quite popular
  2. Interview with an old colleague and a good friend of mine who works at Travellers Tales, regarding Marvel Super Heroes
  3. My semi regular sweep of Amazon hasnt thrown up much today, but the Millennium Falcon is £98 they give the RRP as £158, but its £132 in the lego shop Still, if you havent got it, its worth a look, I love this set (free postage too) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004OT8HJO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B004OT8HJO&linkCode=as2&tag=finbri-21 The X-wing has gone up from £29.99 to £38, still cheaper than RRP but not great. Not spotted much else around today. Argos prices have gone back up a little (not that there was much) Tesco still has its clubcard offer on which is not bad. I picked up a couple of little sets through it. Hopefully see some reductions in a few weeks as the new sets come out and argos updates its catalogue etc, maybe some pre summer holiday sales
  4. The new Superman sets are on Amazon UK and reduced - free shipping too With the new Man of Steel film coming soon, I suspect prices to go back up. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A8LMQJ4/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B00A8LMQJ4&linkCode=as2&tag=finbri-21 Battle of Smallville - £29.99 (was £39.99) Metropolis Showdown £8.99 (decent price to get a superman) Superman Black Zero Escape (tbh not a big fan of this set, but at £14.99 someone might like it) Also available on Amazon US, but not sure if reduced :(
  5. There are two Sand Troopers in the Droid Escape set 9490, not quite stormtroopers I know, but its quite a cheap set (often sub £15) so might be worth considering
  6. The X-wing set 9493, is reduced on amazon uk £29.99 instead of £49.99, which is pretty decent, especially with free delivery http://www.amazon.co...2&tag=finbri-21
  7. Couple of Hobbit sets on offer at amazon Goblin King £50 http://www.amazon.co...finbri-21 Unexpected Gathering £50 (Even the wife likes this set) http://www.amazon.co...finbri-21 Also, TESCO have their clubcard voucher scheme on at the moment You can double the value of your clubcard vouchers for certain things, including lego So £30 of vouchers, becomes £60 of vouchers for toys, which means £60 worth of Lego. Well worth investigating Details here http://www.tesco.com...deals/exchange/ I used this last time to pick up a few sets, effectively half price So if you have £30 of vouchers, you can get the above goblin king set for £30
  8. Sorry if this isnt the right location for this. I downloaded the game earlier, its free and DOESNT have microtransactions hidden away to make you spend lots of cash. I played it for around 30 minutes, its not bad, its light fun and well worth a look if you have kids who enjoy the lego star wars themed games, its nowhere near as in depth or vast as one of those, but its decent fun and has some amusing cut scenes I read it comes out in the US tomorrow, but its on the UK ios app store today
  9. Amazon have some decent reductions at the moment The AT-RT with Yoda is (75002) - £13.29 (I think this is a great price tbh, I really like this set, so I have ordered a couple more) http://www.amazon.co...2&tag=finbri-21 Also the Series 3 planets are all £7.49 Oh and the Desert Skiff is £16.49 if you havent picked one up yet Free shipping in the UK too, so I think there are a few decent bargains to find. >>> Argos also has similar reductions, they charge for shipping, but you can order to collect on most things.
  10. Argos has LEGO Star Wars - Slave 1 8097 for £53.99 whilst stocks last Just reserve one to pick up tomorrow. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3885064/c_1/1|category_root|Toys+and+games|14417629/c_2/2|14417629|Lego+and+construction+toys|14417829.htm
  11. argos have Star Wars Armoured Assault Tank (AAT) for £24.99 stock is varied though only found 1 in an argos in my area and when i phoned up, it had gone http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3877508/Trail/searchtext%3ELEGO+STAR+WARS.htm
  12. Play.com LEGO: Star Wars: Rebel Trooper Battle Pack £7.99 with free delivery http://www.play.com/Toys/Toys/4-/12043424/...ck/Product.html
  13. Bit annoyed that they stopped selling the UCS falcon this last week for the uk and then do the offer for the rest of the world firstly the uk gets shafted, again (as if its not enough the prices we pay) and then they stop selling it, just as I finally get round to wanting to order one.... even before the offer the rest got, I had emails and phone conversations on friday and saturday, the net result was someone from lego saying, sorry but we dont sell it in uk anymore, find a friend in USA who can order it and bring it over to you, or ask a uk toy shop to order one from us.... Left me a little dismayed, yes I've had 2years or so to order one, but £350 is a lot to drop on lego in one go, and I've missed out by days, doh. I guess the customer service couldnt do much else, but its disappointing they will still sell it elsewhere and much cheaper, but I cant get one. Ho hum, guess I need to scour ebay and find one for a none too silly price. Would love to know what Lego has against the uk though in terms of price and availability of sets, and things like brickmaster. A sticker sheet doesnt quite make up for it :(
  14. some pricing is just weird with the new sets the freeco speeder 8085 - 2 figs, 177 pieces £19.99 lukes landspeeder 8092 - 5 figs, 163 pieces £24.99 both of these make sense but swamp speeder 8091 176 pieces, 5 figs (although 3 are the 'droid' type) £29.99 I was going to get one, but doing so just endorses daft rpices (unless its a mistake but you would think it would have been corrected, it doesnt take long to alter a digit on a website) Might go for the pirate tank instead 7753 - always liked the look of that, and at £31.99 seems better value Looking forward to seeing if the rumours of a summer AT-AT are true, never got round to picking one up, and didnt fancy the motorised one /back to lurk
  15. WOW ! that is stunning, very impressed. One day I'll attempt something that complex. But hats off, lovely
  16. Apologies for resurecting an old thread, been so busy in work of late, no time for lego, but slowly catching up on things (so many posts to read !) just wanted to say I think this ship is really cool, I shall be attempting to copy it for my son
  17. Cant post in the for sale section, and I know this will get me in some trouble, but I hope not too much I have some older lego knight / castle figures on ebay (and pirates as mentioned in pirate forum) I have 156 ebay rating and 100% positive feedback, no scams, just looking to let people know Edit by Hinckley: link removed
  18. As new members cant post in the sales forum, I just wanted to let people know I have some older Lego Pirate figures on ebay if anyone is interested Not trying to scam anyone, my ebay rating is 156 with 100% feedback, and I know this is the wrong forum, but as I can post in the other one.... Take a look if interested, I have some pirate ships that once I get round to sorting out will also be going on ebay After 18months of feeding my star wars lego collection, I've decided to sell off some of the lego I no longer want, it will help me get some more star wars lego and hopefully keep the wife to be happy one link here, and ofc you can browse my other auctions, been a long time lurker on eurobricks I hope this doesnt get me in too much trouble
