Looks great, I love the long coat

Here are some pics of the 4 different colors of U-clips and how they look with a few different weapons I really like the Damien Blade I also got from brickarms. I only got one in Dark Gray and I am going to order one in gunmetal and one in silver to see which one looks the best as a bayonet. 1. Gunmetal 2. Black 3. Silver 4. Dark Gray Dark Gray Clip and Damien Blade (I had to cut the hand protector off of one side to make it fit)

I don't mind at all.

I am not a huge fan of the gold for a regular soldier....there is some gold on the torso and the other colors did not look good against it. The brown epaulette did not look good against the reddish brown I put on the fig When I get some more torsos I will try some different looks on each one to compare. Also, I am excited to try the new black epaulette

I like the idea of the white legs....It is not an ideal blue coat, but it will do for me for now until we get new ones (I hope we get new ones) Thanks for your input. I like how you used the side bag...it also hides the pirate type buckle I will try to get some more of these and add some white pants

I recently bought this pirate torso and decided to make into a blue coat soldier. He could use some reddish brown hands to complete the look. Do you think this will work as a soldier?

Yes he is....VERY! I do wish I could go back in time and hand my Lego Collection over to myself at that age.

After I finish the Sails I will post pics of this ship. Then I will likley take her apart. and start over adding a second deck and lots more cannons

That is very well said, I think my ship building is fair at best at this point (especially compared to some of the MOCs posted over the past week). Building the large number of troops is just a collection...for the 12 year old in me who would have done anything to have an army 1/10th that size.

I hear you, At your age I worked in a kitchen to save money for school. stick with it and work hard and it will all be worth it in the end

When I get them I will take pics of each one on both rifles and with a knife and saber on them so you can compare. I am really excited about these clips

I bought a few in each color. I think on the black rifle a black clip might look better ( I won't know until I try it though) On the reddish brown rifle I think the metallic silver clip will look good. Especially since I plan on using the Lego Chrome Knife as the bayonet. If I use a saber the gunmetal or dark gray might work as well. I can't wait to get them and experiment with them

I have been fortunate in my "adult life" to be able to afford some of what I want in Lego over the past few years. As you get older I am sure you will be able to spend a little more on Lego

It is true.... I use the soldiers more as opposing army's. Now my red coat army outnumbers my blue coats. I have always preferred the blue coats (good guys) since they were in my first lego pirate sets as a kid.

I just ordered a few black U clips from brickarms, I think they will make great bayonet holders and might look good with your black rifles for your army if you are interested in that look.

Dude, that actually made me laugh out loud when I read it (and not the typical LOL)....besides it's only 100+ I agree go buy one, you will spend twice the amount of money trying to build one.
