Now that I look at it, I don't see much of a problem. It makes sense. Correct me if I'm wrong but the M motor works for driving when the center diff is unlocked. When you lock the diff, you have to turn off the M motor and turn on the XL motor. It is kind of like shifting a two speed transmission. Although, if your model is RC, you would need some sort of motor locking and unlocking the diff. Well that's what I think anyway, I'm not an expert so correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it would work

No I didn't gear it down. I just had an L motor sitting around and I thought why not put it in and see how much power it had. I just don't have enough of the correct gears to gear it down While we're on the topic, would it be possible to use an L motor for the steering? Just curious

I would recommend getting an XL motor for drive because I actually just tried my L motor in the a unimog and it has barely any power to move on brand new batteries

I am unsure as well but I am going to make a guess and say pneumatic power functions? I don't know it's just a guess

Would you be able to provide more pictures of the rear as to how you installed the cylinders?

I will have to get a servo motor sometime and install it. Anybody have a price as to how much it cost them to fully r/c their unimog?

I have no guesses -
I think the front end is kind of ugly without the bumpers

Would it be possible to put 2 extra L motors in? They would go on top of the existing L motors to give it twice as much power

Will that make a huge difference? Or just a little difference?

Those are awesome mods but I have a question. My 41999 has no power to drive over obstacles! Why is it lacking torque? How can I get more torque wiout sacrificing speed as it is already very slow? And finally, how can I get more speed without sacrificing torque? Thanks
