  1. You can't escape from me broken lego.... Looks very nice! I'd love to have a layout of my own but I need to finish other projects first....
  2. Shoosh this is Lego we make our own rules! I read inglenook was the space between a fireplace and a wall..... None of these count as inglenooks?
  3. It looks like something that would be in a Lionel store.... I know the one over in Norfolk Va has a couple of layouts from HO (h)? to G scale I think there is a small N scale layout but its been a long while.
  4. Just some really strange things while looking at inglenooks.... My head is spinning at all the layers of this thing... I doubt this could transfer to lego N to G would be a huge jump A mess of inmovable trains... A tranquil car conversion The elevator from hell... And last but not least. A very nice picture of an old freight house
  5. I was looking up some inglenooks..... my head is spinning Edit Smaller image
  6. Setting this up might be a challenge....
  7. Lets face it. It's going to be slow. I was testing some higher PSI on it and 9/10 it would bust. It would run a lot fast for a little bit but it would eventually bust. Might be a little different once I have the rest of the model built around it supporting it. But over all it will be a slower roller with a tender full of small pumps. Slow and steady wins the race I guess. I don't think I'm going to go with a centipede tender but I am unsure, the tender is going to be quite long like you said, it would give me much more room to hide pumps.
  8. There a much better render of the train in it's proper colors
  9. The red one is about half bricked out.... the bottom half. I'm trying to gather all the bricks I have so I don't need to place too many orders. I have the pneumatics on the bottom half working at least.
  10. Just a quick little house to test out Bluerender.... needless to say I've fallen in love Just a silly little thing of no significant value
  11. The flipped flange was suppose to be an XL BBB drive... but then I remembered I can't get them in yellow....
  12. I'm in love with BlueRender This look so much better then I thought it would look brick built I'm so excited to move further on this project My pug faced Vulkan coal mover. The Atomic train from a dated lego Idea book Not my own creation What more can I say BLUE RENDER IS AMAZING
  13. never knew that.... very interesting! I saw some later looking German looking locomotive that looked like a bit of a fusion between steam and a more boxy diesel. Wish I could find the photo
  14. To my untrained eye it looks like the motors are thicker then the ground so it would be a bit annoying to try and hide them? also a switch house with all the controls for the layout would be really cool
  15. day 12 No progress has been made I am burried to my neck in boxes full of kitchen items..... We had to spray for roaches not fun! everything is a mess and I lost the train in this seat of canned food and boxes
  16. I have no backlog... what so ever... I've only bought like 5 sets this year....
  17. I've been wanting to get a contest in order since the one we had ages and ages ago for wacky locomotives..... I'd love to see a contest for tiny locomotives. 0-4-0 and such around that size....
  18. Checking out the website for the first time in a year or so.... It's just sad to look at nothing is updated, no recent building instructions. Their forum is just full of spam.... 492 pages of pure spam!
  19. Here we go some early pictures of the train brick built. And I was able to dig out my little Minifigure :D
  20. here is a video of the test rig I'll get a video of the half built locomotive when it's not so dark out
  21. Last update before I move to a new post! I built about half of the thing so far. Just enough to get the Pneumatics lined out and FUNCTIONAL! and to see what bricks I do need. It seems like the whole boiler needs to be bricklinked I'm so freaking excited that the engine is working, grip doesn't seem like much of a problem at it's current state. I'm tired I'm going to take a nap
  22. Do you think this snot might work better then some O-rings on my Pneumatic train? It's not going to go too fast and my last experience from the old Behemoth there was a ton of wheel slip.
  23. And it's about finished! This is my most advanced lego locomotive in terms of build methods in terms of propulsion! It's going to cost me an arm and a leg to get it brick built but it will be worth EVERY penny... (I just need to sell a ton of fried oreos ceramic bowls and or stuff I don't need any more) Please tell me what you think train tech!
  24. Another update! It's grown! I think this is how long the engine will be. I'm thinking about the tender being more of a display for the pumps, The front half looking like a normal tender to conceal the batterybox and motor and the rest would be a line of the small air pumps..... Eating through batteries seems fun. Anyway to make a truck that hooks up with the 9v rail and powers a large motor?
  25. So much work done! The buisness end of the train is done! I THINK I might have a solution for the leading truck but I'm not sure yet! Please oh please guys tell me what you think!!!! Anyways stay tuned for the next update!
