  1. Another update! The first house! A small single room brick house with a wood fire stove and fold down bed.
  2. A mini update... I got more of the grass down and put down the plates for the rails. Neat tiny thing I discovered! Realistic gutters!
  3. I don't think the round plates for the window look that good.... They look a lot like eyeballs instead of windows...
  4. It's a daunting project for me I really want to make this becausenI think it would be a neat diffrent kind of layout I'm going to set up the roads and grass on this plate and set the base for the first corner of the mountain... I think using the flower stems as grass gives a really nice feel.
  5. Here is my first layout project, I'm really excited my head is bouncing around with ideas. I really want the layout to be mobile since it won't be very big. I'm going to base it off the Appalachian Mountains, its going to be a small town surrounded by mountains . There will be two loops of narrow gauge rail, one for passenger train a coal train since coal mining is a big thing in the region. I'll be working on the town area here and the trains over on the Traintech fourms. I plan the make the layout one green and two large grey by two large grey plates, just big enough to fit the two loops Hopefully I can make it viewable on all sides EX. on the back side there is an opening so you can see the coal mine. Here is the first chunck One of the workers laying out the gravel The roads are rather small just big enough for two 4-wide cars Roads up there are pretty small. Here are some side things that I might hide in the mountains themself.. A small peek at a mini luray caverns Moonshine cave Dino bones! Tell me what you guys think!
  6. Slopped peices would look better but they are hard to get a lot of them without Pab or Bl
  7. Here is a simple filler home for a layout. A flat boring back Oh no the cops! I hope you guys like kt.
  8. I looked around but I can't find anything of them anymore if anyone has heard anything from them could you let me now... It's like they have just disapeared...
  9. Can you make monorails any longer or is three wagons the max?
  10. It looks really nice reminds me a bit of big hero six. I think adding some sort of sign would help a lot.
  11. Yeah... I could tell myself... I'm going to take time to plan out what it might look like... Hey this is going to be my first permanent layout I'm really excited... A major problem I see fitting it through the door... Chunking it out is a very good idea, I'm thinking that I should work on one base plate at a time... I'm going to try my hardest to take this slow, the faster you do something the worse it comes out. Thank you very much for offering this advice it is incredibly useful.
  12. That's awesome a type of train you rarely see inlego! Great work!
  13. What I am thinking, two O loops set up like OO the first three rails will all be on outside the mountain all the turn arounds will be inside and open face mountain... I want this viewable from all sides... This is going to be very intesive I know.... I'm going to try and a take out my wacom and draw a mock up of how I want it to look.... ---Goals--- Viewable from all sides Mobile (there is a local trainshow at the smv every year) Hopefully things like lights ------------ What am I getting myself into.... Edit ----- I'm thinking 6x4 for the base plates with a tile built road in the middle of the first O....
  14. This depot is going to be larger then I originally thought, I think I should make a full lay out instead of just a long strip for a scene, I'm going to look into what I can fit and where. I'm thinkin something mountainy... (what have I gotten myself into)
  15. Hrm I was thinking it was the normal wheels but using those eingine rods for the axel. I'll need to buy more medium then to expirement... The only ones I have are in use at the moment.(wait is BBB still around?)
  16. What wheels are they using for the drivers on that mallet? (it is a mallet right?)and sheesh I need to think a little harder on my next locomotive.
  17. I live right across the street from it, I love the place it has a diner inside thats been there as long as the store, my father even ran deliverys for the pharmacy many years ago. I'll go get photos in a minute.
  18. I think a dark green might look good, a bunch of the older pharmacies (1940's) most have beutiful dark green and tan fascade.
  19. Just a quick side question , could I get more information on what this is?I have a few bum motors as well, doesn't lego have a brick replacement thing? send them a bum brick get back a good one?
  20. A small look on ESCO Labs testing a rocket engine Built on top of two 8x16 plates, I originally wanted to make a rocket ship but it didn't work out too well so I took the engine from it and made a labratory mini-moc. I added some small details, like a key pad lock for the door and and warning light. I think it turned out really well.
  21. I don't know what I'm doing XD First bionicle build in years... I think it turnedout.... okay..
  22. About to bulk order some rails and those small wheels, about a hundred of them.... I do plan to make a metroliner style train... not sure how I'll power it... I bought a small set of battery string lights to light the Moc... I think I'll hide its batteries in the rafters
  23. I love this Moc, it has an amazing feel to it. Those trucks are much shorter then the ones around these parts. maybe you could set up somthing with the trucks with a builiding on fire?
  24. Here is what I have to work with I totally for got about this box until I had to move, I don't think I've really touched this box since bionicle ended.... anyways I'm ready to build again Any suggestions?
  25. Here is test wagon, maybe a vehicle in repair or a narrow gauge take on the iconic train.... I haven't decided yet.
