The link itself was tame, but in theory, what if one 8-year old kid saw that and went crying to mommy about sick people posting bionicle characters violating each other. You know what? I do too. But without them, Bionicle would be without a "target audience". And we wouldn't have had all of the great decisions that Lego has come up with over the past few years (squid launchers).

I didn't see the connection between Mata Nui and an ACU even though I'm a huge supcom fan (my avatar is the Aeon Illuminate symbol). And as to the topic of bionicle yoai, I think there was a pic in one of the recent that heavily suggested a yuri pairing with Gali and Gorast, so yoai bionicle pairings might not be out of the question.

Mata-Nui is a Mecha? I'm starting to think that the Great Beings are Japanese. I can only hope that will be what the set looks like.

Is anyone else loving Skrall's shield? The maze-like design is really working for me. He looks like some sort of greek hoplite with the shield/spear combo. Skrall is definitly going to be the one I get first.

I like the new launcher, its compact and actually looks like a weapon. I wholly approve. But Tuma's mask looks like Nidhiki and Whenua had a love child that was as ugly as sin, but still looked cool regardless.

So, it's official that the're going to be tribes? Also, I predict that Tuma might be the important female character (it seems somewhat female), or the black crystalline character from DID might actually be an 09 charcter that some how wound up in the MU and became a Order member.

Now that I think about it, it might be cool to see an NGE based Bionicle story arc. On second thought, if there is a Kaworu-esque character, it might be hard to explain to the target audience.

Those animations made the Vakhi (which would have been boring otherwise) for me. I they made them seem more like secret police that dealt swift, ungodly justice to political dissidents and corrupt criminals than just annoying robots that got in the heroes' way and were quickly subdued. Whoever thought up whole Commie/Facist secret police bit should have gotten a promotion.

What if they used non-Japanese style mecha, like MechWarrior type mecha. And they could be supplemented with spacecraft, fighters, tanks and space infantry.

I voted evil mecha, but only if they can pull them off right. The Exo-Force sets looked just like arms and legs attached to a cockpit. They should flesh out the torso's more.
