I'm over the moon with this news, hopefully a trailer will be released for the new Ghostbusters very soon (that way we can all save our presumptions and misconceptions). If Lego are to make the Chinese Headquarters I think that they could pull it off well if done in the style of the Firehouse size wise; my guess is that one of the pieces that will become non exclusive is the Chinese takeaway box piece from the Big Bang Theory set.

This is outstanding, I particularly like the snot floor, personally I can't wait to see the final product and may I say good luck on your awesome build; I shall be keeping up to date with the thread.

My guess is that it's a photograph of Vigo in the developing room, the white bit represents a peg to hang the photo out to develop and the yellow brick that the (sticker) of Vigo represents the flames of the photo when Vigo sets the whole room alight.

Looks like the left side of the building can be opened into two halves, a bit like the Kwik-E-Mart in design.

I bet that the 5x2 black (dare I say window esque panel piece) will be printed just like that featured in the upcoming Doctor Who set.

This looks fantastic, I'm over the moon with the outcome and especially the release date of January. The figures look awesome, so many nice details. I can't wait to get a better look at the interior, from what I can see there appears to be a sticker of a lego figure with horns in the top middle window. Judging by the looks of it the sticker may be a representation of the portrait of Vigo.

"Robin plunged into the fight against the villain Bane with his Mighty Micros drill" Ew, no! I can't bare to imagine why Robin would want to plunge into Bane's 'mighty micro drill'.

That doesn't sound strange at all Cwetqo; from a business point of view from Lego's side I can see exactly why that may be (due to the hype created from the new film), but it will certainly be a let down to say that us AFOLs will have to wait an additional halve a year to get the set. (Ah well, if it's that good I can certainly wait).

Thanks for the post cap'n; the pig certainly looks interesting; I will reserve judgement for images of the full sets but I must admit that there looks to be some cool pieces that will be included in these Angry Birds sets.

It should be interesting to see how Lego could pull off the interior of the Firehouse HQ; I for one would be interested in seeing how they'd go about making the elevator (perhaps similar in the design to the Town Hall modular although it could spoil the exterior of the build). In addition to the large piece count, it wouldn't surprise me if they included a large stay puft marshmallow man, then again this could be something that is in the pipe works for another set. Ps. I'm loving the sound of this set; hopefully something gets revealed at NYCC and then I have a heads up of knowing what I will be buying.

Wow! Now that is a project... This looks brilliant and I look forward to seeing the final piece; also if you get a chance TGB, it may be nice to make a video showing what some of those motors and functions look like when put to use.

Having recently built the Scooby Doo Mystery Mansion, my cat decided to chew one of the towers, I was mortified but I have since managed to replace them parts. The other night my cat decided to wake me up and at the bottom of my bed I had placed the SHIELD Hellicarrier set, to my horror I found her standing on top of the runway of the ship, I thought it was going to collapse but luckily enough the structure held her weight and I found a way of removing her from the ship (I tend to get frightened when she jumps onto the top shelve where my tower of Orthanc is residing).

What a disappointment for those that own the original, although them carollers faces made me laugh

I got all of mine excluding the Ant Man set (which has been held back due to a fault) from a ToyMaster, ToyWorld and an independent retailer.

I found the new sets in a few independent retailers located on the East Coast in West Yorkshire. I can tell you that both of these stores had the following sets: Toymaster: Had all DC and Marvel sets in the Whitby store par the Marvel Carnage Shield Sky Attack. ToyWorld: This store in Scarborough use to be a Toymaster as well but is now a ToyWorld. This one had all sets excluding the Sandman and Rino attack. All of these sets were at RRP and I do know that both of these stores have websites. Hope that helps

Finally came across the Rhino and Sandman set as well as the Carnage Shield Sky Attack; decided to buy both and also got the new DC wave and the whole Avengers wave, look forward to the builds but I reckon the two new marvel sets will be complete in no time. I must say that the minifigures in my opinion look excellent this far.

Also adding to that extra long list: Fat Tony, Luigi, sea captain, Duff man and Jebediah Springfield (statue minifigure) would make an awesome addition to the Simpsons theme, I can't wait to see whats in the pipe works for this Lego theme next.

I use a pair of scissors with small, sharp blades. I then cut around each sticker and when I'm ready to apply the sticker I remove a part of the backing and place it onto the piece from a corner, this is to avoid any finger prints on the underside of them; this also improves the accuracy and look of the sticker imo. On a side note, it shouldn't be long until I get paid then I can finally purchase the whole lot of this Simpsons wave, I can't wait!

Just seen the new trailer, and I must say that I certainly can't wait to watch this film; I wonder if Lego may release a set image on May the 4th to keep us going (assuming they are aloud)? Just a thought for consideration. Not sure if anyone here has seen this image yet? It was posted by Chris McVeigh on twitter.

Awesome review J2G, sadly at the moment I'm skint but by the end of this month I hope to be fuelling my Lego spending seeing as I will be getting paid .
