  1. I couldn't find this when I tried to do it. For people that don't have an understanding of how texture are loaded in games, they might find my method easier. I'm not saying that this is the easiest way to do it, but this was the only way that I could find, and I couldn't find anything else on this forum about it. You can can also use this software to add your own custom textures as well.
  2. Not sure, I've only really used it to get designs from minifigures which I assume are tex files. Very new to this sort of program.
  3. Here is my tutorial on how to export in game texture from any LEGO game on steam. This tutorial only works on PC, and requires only one program, 'TexMod'. WARNING this process runs a certain risk especially if you are troubleshooting. I would make sure that you backup your save files incase anything goes wrong. For demonstrative purposes I am using LEGO Marvel Superheroes but I should work for all LEGO steam games. I have also tested it on other lego steam games and it has worked fine. Step 1) Download TexMod here: http://texmod.softwa...former.com/1.0/ Step 2) Unzip the file and move the .exe program file into your games folder. This can be located: Computer > OS > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > *Name of your game* eg LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Step 3) Rename the original game .exe to something else. For this I'd advise just adding the word 'original' afterwards so that you don't get confused and can change it back later. Then rename the TexMod.exe which you moved to the file earlier, to the same name that the game should've be originally. For example mine would be renamed to ‘LEGOMARVEL’. Step 4) Go onto steam and open up the game, however instead of opening the game as it normally would, the TexMod Application will open. Click on Logging mode at the top. Logging mode allows you to log all of the textures in the game. Tick all of the boxes apart from the one labeled 'Alternative Method'. The option saying 'Output Format' is the picture format that you want the image to be exported as. PNG and BMP are preferable although it is up to you. The option saying 'Log with' is the key that you are going to press to export the image and the 'output folder', is the location where you want the files to be saved to. By clicking on the folder button, you can select browse, to pick the file where you want the items to be stored. Step 5) Choose the application by clicking on the box in the corner, which allows you to select the game that you want to run. Now click onto the original game ie the one that you have just name 'original'. Step 6) Click run on the program. The game should open as normal however there should be some red text in the corner. This explains how to scroll through the different textures. Open up the save file where you want to get the textures from. It is probably easiest to select the one where you have completed, far enough to get the character that you want. Automatically you begin scrolling using the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ keys to select which texture that you want to export. NOTE: I could only get it to work with the plus and minus keys on the number pad so if you can't get it to work on the regular keyboard try using this. Step 7) Once you have scrolled through all of the textures and found the one that you want, click the log button that you selected. This will export the image to your selected destination. That’s it! Very simple when you know how to do it and I find it really useful especially when a minifigures design is very complicated to draw from scratch. To get the original game back, you simply rename the original game file back to its original title and rename the TexMod.exe to something else. Disclaimer: I'm not associated with TexMod, nor am I great at troubleshooting. If you have any trouble I will try my best to help you but you'll probably have more luck googling to find help on forums for TexMod. Happy Building!!
  4. I'm in the process of making a tutorial, so I'll you you know how to do it
  5. Yeah, I've drawn some before. But found using this to be much faster.
  6. I know, I do feel bad for crayon, but on the plus side, I love his designs so much, and no I might finally be able to own them. Another page might be better, and also there is a program that allows you to export textures from games on steam. I can't remember what it's called of the top of my head, but I've used it to get the designs for minifigures from lego games. Might make it easier for SY or Decool.
  7. I have also bought some poppunkmunky customs, but they were of my own design. Quality was great (see more on my Flickr) and his own designs look good too. I really hope that SY do an X-Men wave, and then maybe I'll have a reason to build an X-Mansion!
  8. Yeah they came out last year :/ still pretty cool though
  9. Does anyone know all of the mark names for the new iron man wave?
  10. My Phoenix was fine, and even if it is off set, you can always buy anyone one, for the low price. I'd rather pay about £4 for two than about £300 for the real thing. Don't get disheartened if your first figure was slightly misprinted, you can always order more!
  11. Anyone notice this? That looks like wolverines claws but held in the hand rather than attached. But I'm probably just being stupid. Although I can't see what else it could be Answered my own question, turns out it's just Hawkeye!! Still a great trailer got me excited for getting the sets
  12. Gave out my first AOU set today, obviously the shop assistant didn't realise that it wasn't suppo to be selling them till tomorrow! Nevermind
  13. I think we'll see something new. Not 100% sure but I think that's due to Chinese new year so there might not be some for a little bit.
  14. Wilst at work (I work at argos) had a look at the age of Ultron sets apart from the quinjet. Although they aren't for sale yet they're still in the stock room. Being completely honest, most of the builds are terrible. The hydra fort is empty , the avengers tower looks okay from the outside but the interior is terrible, and the hulk buster is far too big. Having said this the quinjet looks good and all of the figures look superb. Just next time I think they should have the same price but for an actual building not just a back drop.
  15. Fair enough, to be honest I think the forum needs a new title. But next time it might be better to explain why you don't like bootlegs or mention personal experience.
  16. Yes!! I've been looking forward to being able to pick the biggest box in the store and being able to buy it!!
  17. Okay I'm confused, if I buy the hellicarrier in store will I get my WS polybag? Or do I have to order it online
  18. Why post in a forum of people that like/buy bootlegs
  19. Has anyone else considered using the CMF tiger for Tigra? The tail piece is pretty much perfect and, apart from the body, the other pieces could suffice. Just an idea
  20. I recieved my antman and beast today but my antman has a broken helmet. I've used the body to make Stature (Scott lang's daughter) and a replacement will be shipped out which is good. Beast is amazing and looks great next to my other x-men
  21. That's not to far from me, I'll have to have to go at some point. Thanks!
  22. Without sounding creepy, where abouts is this car boot sale? You're in the UK right?
