  1. Okay. Before anyone starts hating because "Oh that's too much like Kenner and Hasbro, oh no!" that's not what this is. Each box/kit/whatever will include a building component. Although some elements may resemble each other, don't tell me I copied or anything. So what this is is boxes with individual figures AND BUILDING ELEMENTS (along with buildable display stands) from all six movies (e.g. Luke Skywalker), major video games (e.g. Revan) and comics (e.g. K'Kruhk), both Clone Wars series (Otua Blank), and any other major characters (Jaxxon, T'ra Saa). Minifigures released together in a wave can be grouped together to make groups that may be expanded on later in the series (e.g. Obi-Wan and Commander Cody are released in one wave, and the next wave has a 212th clone trooper). The minifigures will be made as effeciently as possible so that LEGO won't have to waste money on new molds. NOTE: I'M AWARE THAT THIS CUUSOO PROBABLY WON'T BE CHOSEN, BUT IT MAY GIVE LEGO AN IDEA FOR THE FUTURE I'll update with images, and additional info
  2. It's about time we get a new dewback. This more detailed one reminds me of Kenner's action figure. It would be nice to see what it looks like without the sandtrooper. Supported on CUUSOO, commented too. BTW what program did you render in?
  3. Here's my entry: Santa fears for his life and flees as the emperor enjoys his new gift, a training genie.
  4. I'm really disappointed with the lack of varied prints provided. Also, we need more usable minifigure pieces. 53494 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=53494 bb447448 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=1&itemID=91793 43369c99 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=28&itemID=56610 40250cx2 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=88&itemID=75027 61190a http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=85&itemID=81207 99250pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=5&itemID=109215 44827pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=12&itemID=40553 93148pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=48&itemID=97996 92751pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=69&itemID=104401 92945pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=59&itemID=98168 98154pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=89&itemID=112865 10164pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=1&itemID=112814 96223pb01 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=69&itemID=101677 x105 http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=5&itemID=3235
  5. As for sets I'd like to see in the future, here's a list: Cloud Car (with Lobot, Cloud Car Pilot, Ugnaught) The Lobot could be the one from Planet Series, the Cloud car pilot would have a new Helmet mold or would reuse Death Star Trooper's helmet, and the ugnaught would have a new mold or printing on existing mini head. Sleight of Hand (with Cad Bane, Kul Teska, and Captain Rex) The Cad Bane and the Rex could be the existing figures, and Teska would have a new print head and the rest brick built) Ginivex-class starfighter (with Asajj Ventress) Asajj would be the existing figure. Mos Eisley Cantina (with Luke, Han, Chewie, Obi-Wan, Sandtroopers x2, Greedo, Ponda Baba, Dr. Evazan, Garindan, and some Cantina bimbos like Wolfman, Melas, Cebann Veekan, etc.) TIE Bomber (with TIE Pilot, Imperial Officer, MSE Droid?) The TIE Pilot would be the new one from Planet Series 3, the Imperial Officer would be a generic officer, nothing Unique about it, and MSE droid could be brick built or new mold.
  6. The Mustafar base Idea seems a bit too large/pricey, but it's something fans need. The figures sound great, like the Mustafarian and Poggle. Theed Palace also sounds good. I hope we'll see some of these in the future. I don't know much, but it I feel that the combining stuff with a building/area + a vehicle won't have the same effect. if its two buildings, its fine, because fans will want to have the complete model. If it's building + vehicle, fans won't strive to get the building because the ships are much more desirable.
  7. They say that the movies will be original stories. That's fine by me, but don't change existing canon. And rather than think of new aliens reuse some EU ones. And we need more comics: I've tons from, like, 2004, and not one from this year. Also to follow up, I think that, just to see how it would turn out, redo the entire saga, not like, spend 20m $ on each new movie, just add stuff, juice, cut content, like AotC, I want know what Anselmi look like.
  8. Does anyone know when the Krell images will be released, the tension is killing me. I can't take it any longer!
  9. I agree. To add on to that, the hover tank would probably have more interesting building strategies, and a lower price. But we'd still get the same hideous Umbaran soldiers.
  10. My thoughts on the sets: Never played SWTOR but impressed by the sets. If the trend follows and the January sets are released around the holiday season, I'll be sure to pick one or two up. Not overly impressed with the vehicle, but has good MOCing pieces. This is probably one of the best sets released in a long time. Not because of the droidekas or the building component which claims to be a command center. But it's been a long time since we got an Episode II set. I'll probably Bricklink the clones, since the droidekas are awful. The build is okay, other than the fact that Lego made it a tad to large. I love the 501st clone and commando droid. Not too happy about Yoda, however. Also like the sniper droideka. Again, maybe I'll get it for MOCing. This was probably the most needless set of the wave. We don't need Ackbar or Han, and the pilot dies. The A-Wing itself isn't a unique build, which leads me to think Lego is being lazy. I'd probably find a use for Ackbar's head and pilot's helmet, though. Ah... the Z-95. Hopefully I'll be still psyched by January that I'll want this set. Unfortunately, I can't really see much since Lego didn't have the right mind to give us decent images. Maybe hi-res Krell will come sometime this month. Only set I'm actually positive about. Oh, well... One of my favorite scenes from the movie. Not overly impressed by the build, but I like the rancor. I like the element of connectivity with Palace. Although this set has MOC potential, the only impressing thing is Obi-Wan. Unless I'm mistaken, he seems to have a new hairpiece. Not planning on buying anything from this set. As we come to a close, let me just say that this set is a disgrace to Lego. Ahsoka's lightsabers, inaccurate size - the Umbarans resemble Clawdites. The build has some MOC potential, as with the Umbarans.
