I had the same the other way around. I still remember being halfway through the first book, when I saw a stupid Youtube video in which they totally unexpected announced (spoileralert) that dear Neddy's head is chopped off. I didn't saw the point in reading the book anymore... it took me a week or two to get back reading, and now I just smile wickedly as some people tlak about their favorite character and that he or she will make it through to the end. Tha being said, don't attach to much to any of the characters. :p

Oh boy, that would be fun, now wouldn't it.... Everybody happy.. and alive.. oh boy. :D I absolutely love the series, but I do prefer the books. Problem is, now that I've seen the series , I always picture the characters as they are played in the series, when I read the books. Can't wait for season three!

I don't know where to find it right now, but Superman's costume is completely redesigned for the movie, so We'll get a completely new fig. :)

Okay, leaving the Spiderman issue what it is (I have the old, better version anyway) Does anyone know if the DC or Marvel sets are already available in Belgium, 'cause I'm feeling really left out right now. :(

Wait 'till the second week of May, I think they should be appearing around that time...
-
yeah, Lille's a bit far for me. I'll just have to wait 'till may then. :( To think I had the chance to buy them a month ago in Germany...

Is there a TRU in Belgium?
-
I think that they're supposed to be his boots. Lego does that a lot with characters who have large boots. They did it with episode I and III obi-wan, and some others I can't recall. just my two cents, though.

Hilarious, this reminds me of the music funnies I made a year ago. Purple Blade (Purple Haze) and Leia (Layla)...

This is so awesome! I love it that there are more and more LOTR moc's coming out now. And yours is just topnotch. Maybe a little static, but it still rocks some serious... you know... But one little nerdy nickpick. It isn't a dragon... The Nâzgul's mounts aren't dragons, they are some kind of unknown species. in the books they're described as birdlike, and Tolkien describes them as 'fell beasts'. Because of this, most people call them Fellbeasts. Little nerd rant over.

That the half circles aren't there is logical because they stand for a fleet which Anakin and Obi-Wan led in the Clone Wars, and as this green fighter is probably just stolen from the docking area in Coruscant it shouldn't be on it. But why the republican sigh isn't there is as much a question to me as it is to you.

Nice review! The only thing I dislike about this set is that Obi-Wan doesn't have legprinting. Now it just looks wierd. I could understand this if Anakin didn't have legprinting as well, but he does. Why's that? It's not as if he's more important than Obi-Wan, It's not like everyting revolves around him! Guess I'll have to use my old 2006 Obi-Wan legs.

Oh my God! That's such a rip-off! These can't be the official European prices. But if so, I'm just gonna have to have a little chat with some people over at Lego...

Sorry for bumping this one, and it seems ths makes it a double post as well. But I came up with two songs I felt I needed to share, If it's not appropriate to do this, please let me know, and I won't do it anymore. But here they are: One's a cover of the late Hendrix. Little wing And the other's an original. Izabella blues All instruments are played by me, and I hope to make a lego videoclip for the latter some day.

The Return Of The Blue Cape Troubles... I thought someone told me you couldn't order the cape as it is a licensed piece. But I hope for you, that you can.

A lot of the old Batman figures are based upon BTAS.
-
I hope they are gargoyles, which would even be better for some Batman MOC's :D And I hope it isn't to broken?
-
You're welcome. ;)
-
Gargoyles are stones statues in the shape of animals or men. They are from the Gothic art, if I'm not mistaken. And so are to be found on Gothic buildings like churches and the like. So they're not persé Bats.

Sadly no. :cry_sad: Nolan said he was dead.
-
Yes I hate that in about every superhero movie, all the villains die! So I really liked the fact that nolan at least kept the main vllain of TDK and Scarecrow alive. And reportedly Ra's is alive as well, compeletey breaking Nolan's rule with what seems to be a Lazarus pit. So the only real villain he offed, was Two-Face, who was not given enough screentime to evolve into Two-face.

I guess I misenterpreted some of your thoughts then. And I apologize for placing you in the wrong box. But my points still stand. Not against you persé, but against people who think more in the lines of Siegfried. (Not that I mean any disrespect to him) As to the sensitivity, I think the Bat-fans are more sensitive about people liking the movie. And I think you as well missed some things as I was not defending the movie as a Bat-movie, I was just defending it as a movie, which happens to star Batman. On another note, I'm watching all the episodes of Batman The Animated Series again, and I must say. This is Batman, as I think he was meant to be.

But you are saying that the one's who disliked the movie, like you, have a more relevant opinion than the one's who liked it, or at least, that is how you make it seem. The fact is that millions of people enjoyed the movie, and thought it was great. Now of course there are people who dislike the movie, and it's their full right to do so. But the one's who like the movie outnumber the one's who didn't big time, so there must be something good about the movie, or else the millions of people wouldn't like it. Are you sure he isn't?

Thanks, and I think that makes my example even better. Oh, what would we be without the knowledge of the mighty Penguin.

In The Miller/Lee book, All-star Batman And Robin (The Boy Wonder) phew a title that's way to long. he starves the kid (Robin) beats him up, and that stuff. One's a game, true. But it is a version that you accept as good, not? and the other, not so much, in the 60s, the tv-series had so much succes they adapted the style of the comicbooks to it. Ask Penguin, as he'll have more knowledge about the subject. Oh and yes, The Killing joke still is one of my favorite comics of all time, glad we brought that one up, I have no defence against it.
