  1. I have shared with you the full story. I do not stand behind Eugene's suspicions, but he asked me to share them once he was dead, so I did. I do not believe he had any information on either of them. I think he just thought they looked like scum and so wanted to alert the town to his thoughts in the case he died. I honestly have no idea who to vote for, and am feeling a little sick, so do not know if I will be able to revisit the town before the day is out. I will proxy my vote to Samuel and take it back if I am able to visit the town again before the day is up. Proxy: Sameul (Sandy)
  2. I can just not figure out what could have possibly happened in the night! Every way I slice it, it makes no sense. Why was there only one death?! With a group of 28 it seems certain that there would be more killers. So what the heck happened to them?! Did we just have an extremely lucky first night? And who the hell targeted Eugene? He was stirring up distractions, aiding the scum, but was an agreed upon townie by most people. So why would either side kill him. I really just can't fathom it. As for Eugene's final message. He asked me to pass it on. I do not stand by it, Nika particularly I think is clear for the same reasons I thought Eugene seemed town. Timur has not struck me as odd. But a dying man asked me to pass along his message, and I thought it rude to not do so. Next, this talk of Samuel's vote will not be sorted out until we vote again. I think there's a vote stealer out there who can steal anyone's vote they want, but that's just me. We must observe today's voting carefully. The vote stealer, however, must be one of the people who voted for Benji yesterday. Which leaves us with this list: (Waterbrick Down, Captain Tamamono, Brickdoctor, Cornelius Murdock, Rick, Quarryman, CallMePieOrDie, Fugazi, Zepher, JimButcher, [Kartoffel Viking], Pandora, Masked Builder, Roncanator, Shadows). 15 people, one of which is a vote stealer, who I don't trust. Samuel, on the other hand, I think that getting your vote stolen is a very nice way of proving you town. Congratulations, I now "trust" you more than others. Hopefully my saying that won't get either of us killed.
  3. Sorry Hincks. I did read the rules looking for a reference to quoting other character's PMs, but couldn't find anything on it.
  4. Lord Boomingham waves a fond farewell to all in the hall. He retires to the inn that he had arranged for himself, calling in a very old favor. On his way out he mutters about useless Orc women.
  5. I meant it was a coincidence that a movie with her name in it happened to be coming out this weekend, only two or three days after this began itself. Not that the name itself was a coincidence.
  6. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/scheherazade_tell_me_a_story/ In the movie business Sandy? Haha, I thought it was a funny coincidence.
  7. Boomingham was faced with a task that he couldn't fathom. A conversation with an Orc. He would rather swallow poison. But, he figured he had to break the ice sooner or later, and he had been ordering drinks from her all night with no way to pay, so he should at least make her acquaintance. "Scheherazade, another round for me if you wouldn't mind, and then pull up a chair and tell me about these veterans. I may know them. Also, if you want to tell me about the six noble families, I'd greatly appreciate it. Last time I visited the people in charge weren't born yet. Is there any correlation between the six noble families and the six veterans, do you think?" "Also, have you any connection to the Orcish invasion, Scheherazade? How old are you? What do you think of it? Want to tell me a bit about it from your perspective?"
  8. Lord Boomigham laughed happily. "I'm afraid your friend doesn't like me much. I suppose I ought to do as she says and leave you alone as well," he said to Shadina before walking off, humming a tuneless tune. He sat down opposite of a young human, sitting all alone. He offered his hand. "King Boomingham," he said, giving him self a promotion just for the hell of it. "I'm Ellaria," said the girl. Something about her attracted Boomingham, but not in his usual way. She seemed more frail, not weak, but delicate perhaps. Whatever it was, wooing would not ensue... or at least not in his normal head first approach. "I'm rather new around here," said Boomingham. "I've got a question or two. These Veteren fellows who run the show, who are they? Have you met them? If they fought in the Orcish War, I may know them. I fought in the Orcish War myself!" He leaned over the table and whispered. "I'm 294 years old. Don't tell anyone." He then returned to his normal volume. "I know, I don't look a day over 44, the body and mind still have to catch up. I say, think about this. Six noble families running the town, six veterens running this place... chance, or something more?"
  9. "No, honest to god, it happened!" laughed Lord Lawrence Boomingham. The two ladies, who had introduced themselves as Shadina and Nyx, on either side laughed, either with him or at him, it really didn't matter to him. "Another round for these two ladies! No, you know what, another round for everybody!" roared Lord Boomingham. He had no money. He was entirely unsure of how he was going to pay for the drinks, but that didn't matter right now because he had two beautiful ladies on either side. "I was once a King," he told them. "Of a very old kingdom. Sadly, I ran into a little trouble with the Ziegfrieds. They locked me away for a few hundred years, and to me it just seemed like a quick nap in another dimension. When I hopped out, my kingdom was gone, people had gone on a very quick exodus or something, and all they left behind was a few ruins, and all the treasure. At first I felt quilty as all hell, but then I figured it wasn't my fault, you know? And anyway... I had a lot of gold and no kingdom to spend it on. So I found me a missus and married, and now I'm exploring a new world." This was all true. It was Lord Boomingham's only good story. Lord Boomingham saw an Orc in armor walk by. He glared at it. "The filth they let in here," he growled, "I thought this was founded to stop the Orcs, not allow them in. I fought in the Orcish War you know. Right before the Ziegfrieds got me. I was 22 when they sealed me away. Now I'm 44 years old, though I was born 294 years ago." He chuckled. This was also all true. Lord Boomingham had spent all of his money, quite by accident, on wooing ladies and buying drink. His wife, whom he truly loved dearly, was not pleased about either. So he had traveled to Eurobric. Lord Boomingham was a large man. He had a booming laugh and voice. His three great loves in the world were drink, women, and his wife. He genuinely liked everyone, save the Orcs and perhaps a few mages. He had indeed fought in the Orc War and had not trusted an Orc since. The Ziegfrieds had locked him away, but he figured they must have had their reasons to lock him away and honestly, it had been the best struck of luck he had come across in his whole life. Lord Boomingham was ambitious as well, and didn't mind a little social climbing. "I'm going to sign up for Quest #2: Looking Through the Wares. Never bad to get it in with an influential family! The farmer won't do us any good and I'm not sure how the Ziegfrieds feel about me... What do you ladies think? Either of you want to accompany me?" He smiled and laughed. Lord Lawrence Boomingham, Level 1 Knight 44 years old Male Human Power: 4 Health: 10/10 Gold: 10 Inventory: Longsword (WP: 3), Shield (SP: 2)
  10. I did not have to alert anyone I was blocked, and I was the first person to suggest that the scum killer was blocked. Hopefully you don't think me, Petr, stupid enough to lead you to me like that. If I were the scum killer don't you think I may be a little more hush hush. I, Petr, am not that stupid.
  11. Will you be posting the test quest, both for our learning experience and our enjoyment? I'd advise it... but then again, you're probably three or four steps ahead of me and already planning to do so.
  12. I am beginning to think that this is the case, which gives us something to work off of. I, Petr, believe that it is possible we blocked the scum killer. I woke up with a headache today, anyone else? Don't be shy now. The other possibility is that the scum took the night off to do other deeds, but this seems very early for them to do that. Someone also brought forward the idea of two mafia's yesterday... neither of them seems to have gotten a kill. We need a towniest of the town for people to report to, that always makes things so much easier. We can piece together the events of the night so much better that way. I sadly have no idea why he was suspect of you. I gave you all the message he sent me. I am not so sure of this. I feel that his vote was stolen. Let us see something. Perhaps WHO the vote is stolen from can change from day to day. Perhaps they targeted her for vote snatching. You are never useless, my friend, if you have a good brain in your head.
  13. It is possible one of us has been poisoned and will die shortly. We can also allow for the possibility of the killer being blocked, though I'm aware that puts suspicions back on me. I agree, one death, while lovely for this town, is quite strange, and I, Petr, plan to get to the bottom of it. Perhaps the scum blocked me, because I claimed very loudly that I was vanilla townie and they thought I was trying to trick them, or town blocked me and the scum, by chance, found our vigilante, which I feel strongly with this number we must have.
  14. Eugene was my only ally. This is the final message I received from him. Please bear in mind that is who he suspects, he had no evidence, but it certainly warrants further research. I myself awoke with a headache this morning, which I'm supposing means that I was blocked in the night. While this does not help me confirm my role of VANILLA townie, it does allow me to fully assure everyone that I am not a killer. I'm afraid our suspect list was not slimmed down as much as we'd wanted, but we did learn of Samuel's strange voting. It's something to look into, and seems to be a town assuring thing to happen to one, assuming he's not scum that has the ability to secretly throw his vote.
  15. Hehehe. I'm so excited! I love stories, and while quests are going to be fun, one game where I get to develop one character will be awesome! I'll get pictures up tomorrow, this looks like a lot of fun! AND QUESTION TIME: Not related to the game mechanics, but just for you, my fellow story lover Sandy. How fleshed out are the houses of Nobles? Do you know all their names? Does the over-all story have a, well, direction, yet? So very excited.
  16. I'm lucky I have you to tease me forever about that Werewolf thing Hincks. I was so pissed off at myself after my goof, not because it wasn't in my message, but rather that it was and that you really did catch me on a fluke, that I took some time off from Eurobricks afraid I would take it out on others. But now you've turned it into a big ol' joke. Which is a great way to save face for me . Great conclusion.
  17. I've yet to win a game Big Cam. I wouldn't let being voted against ruin your fun! It happens to the best of us. Honestly. Like, that's actually the point of the game is that getting vote against can happen to you. Haha. I thought for a while there it could swing to me too. Hope you consider giving it another try some day, and no hard feelings man.
  18. Not everyone voting for you is a scum, not voting is not proof of anything. Unvote: Barbara (BobtheConstructionMan) Vote: Benji (Big Cam)
  19. Yes, and we get one unvote per day. I assume the punishment, best case, is the loss of a vanilla townie, like Denis said, and that is best case. I am a vanilla townie, so I am assuring that we have the best case scenario. I'm afraid the penalty would be worse, or equal, so it's best to play it safe.
  20. For everyone: Votes Nika 1 (Eskallon) Barbara 3 (Zepher, Sandy, Peanuts) Petr 3 (def, Masked Builder, Quarryman) Benji 3 (Waterbrick Down, Tammo, Brickdoctor) I'm really not a fan of the split vote. I will return later today and add my vote to who ever may have the most votes, myself included.
  21. Calm down Barbara. You've stated your points. You have one of the fifteen votes that would be required to put you to death, you don't have to be fighting tooth and nail right now.
  22. Sorry Def. You know I love you. I would like to participate in this chat afterwards too, I'm interested in it. But afterwards. Sorry for dragging it up.
  23. I think that's meta-gaming... and while we don't have a rule for it in this game, it's generally frowned upon I think... Sorry to call you out buddy, but you may want to shy away from it... is this rude? I'm sorry if it is. no offense was meant, it just irks me when you use SPECIFIC old games as a reasoning to get someone voted off. Don't hate me!
  24. I, Petr, would like to fix something before anyone goes saying I am misguiding. BARBARA HAS POSTED TWICE. I did not see her second post, I must have skimmed over it. I am deeply sorry and am not trying to cause everyone to work for scum by that move.
