  1. Mistake, or strange happening of the night?
  2. I am a hundred percent sure I got Yuri killed, for which I am deeply apologetic. However, perhaps we can use his final piece of information?
  3. Of course! I just want to see the current quests for a bit before I go ahead and try to set up one of my own.
  4. This may just be me, but I really don't think we're supposed to make up armies to fight against in Heroica Hall. Sandy said in the Quest Master thread we would not be able to make up enemies on quests, I think double that goes for the peaceful rest place of Heroica Hall.
  5. Returning to the topic at hand, I would like to offer my hand at Quest hosting. I have two quests as ideas in my head, perhaps I will be able to be Sandy's following act. I will flesh them out over the next few months... which leads to my question. How long do you predict quests will last Sanders?
  6. "Ha! Thank you for your story Tesni. It is too bad Eric left, but I'm sure I'll meet with him later. I must retire now my lady." Boomingham winked to the barbarian and started to head towards the door. He heard murmurs of a tornado. Boomingham simply chuckled. "This town was built to withstand an invasion. Why would a tornado harm it? Perhaps it only seems dangerous to a halfling, considering it's size," he whispered to someone next to him. With that, Boomingham put on a cloak and stepped out into the admittedly high winded storm. Back to the inn until he heard back from the Hinckwells as to if he had been selected for their quest.
  7. "Anything and everything," responded Boomingham. "And don't think that you have to hold back. I'm an old fellow, though it doesn't show. I've seen, and experienced, many a strange thing in my days. But I'll take my turn later. If you wouldn't mind, would you order me a soup. I'd do it myself but I'm afraid I've made an enemy of the bar maid, and I don't like much talking to Orcs."
  8. Lord Boomingham, while wandering the streets before returning to the bar, had bought a Bedroll from Gnomeo for 5 gold, leaving him with 5 gold.
  9. Lord Boomingham sighs. He likes to talk big as much as the next guy, but actual fighting over nothing bores him. Still seeking some sort of friend, he makes his way over to the only two level headed people he can find in the bar, Eric and Tseni. "Hello fellows," he says. "I have never traveled to the north, where I have heard you're from. Now, i know as good as anyone that everyone likes to talk about their home, so care to enlighten me? I've overheard bits and pieces. Tseni, I'm sorry to hear about your tribe. Who did you say slaughtered them? Was it Orcs? And Eric, I'm not sure I've heard much about your home."
  10. Your first paragraph, well, I feel I have to defend myself. My goal with my plan was to get information moving, and it did that alright. What else did we have to go off today? We were discussing Samuel not being able to vote and... I'm sorry, nothing else? At least SOME thoughts cropped up today. The news came to me today. Early today Yuri contacted me, and said he wanted a contact and I was it. He then went on to ask if I was in contact with Roncantor. When i asked why he chose me, and why the Roxana question, he responded with "just a gut feeling" and that he thought Roxana had a night action. That is all I have on the matter. My accusations stood before I had to "divert attention", thank you very much. As I've stated before, these are not vengeful, Donil can prove that I had these thoughts before hand. And I'm not a cautious townie, I've stated before, I'm a vanilla townie with nothing of value to lose for the town, so I decided to branch out. I encouraged my "puppets" to contact each other to verify my claims, and when someone chose to not respond to me, I said I understood and would not pressure them, and left it totally at that. I was encouraging general contact, because frankly, seeing how this has been going so far, we need someone to pick someone to trust to be their mouth for their results.
  11. When/if I'm voted off, take note of those who did NOT vote for me in the final hours. When I'm this close to a final vote, it would be so easy for a scum, knowing I'm town, to simply walk along, place the hammer, and be lost in the crowd. That's what a smart scum would do, so those unvoting me, or not voting for me when I'm this close to a conviction should be held in higher regard tomorrow, if I am killed. I suppose if I'm not convicted, only I will know to hold them in higher regard.
  12. I won't defend myself further, I've already told you what you're losing. And don't think that you're off the hook Ruxana. Even if I'm dead, Yuri still came forward saying he had heard you had a nasty night action. Want to explain?
  13. Alright, I'll stop looking for clues, you're right, that's a bad plan. No. I reached out. A scum would never reach out because it would draw attention to them. But they would jump at the chance of contact. Also, I'm not trying to turn this on you. You see, I already suspected you and I have proof of it, so you can throw that idea out the window. I'm exploring four people as scum right now, you just happen to be one of them. I do not believe they are all scum, I'm just sharing ideas much as you are doing for me. No reason to not say who I'm suspecting.
  14. Yes there is such a thing as an unproxy. On top of that, Yan, Patrick, and Stanivslov all placed late votes on Benji yesterday. Votes under the pretense of only a few hours being left and simply joining a band wagon. Rather nice at that time of day, to vote for a townie and be "unsure" about it. Finally, to note, I WAS NOT KILLED LAST NIGHT, even though I was suspect to the town apparently. Yan's main hole in my plan was that it would be smart for the scum to NOT KILL me during the night, because that would indeed point to one of the eight I contacted as scum. and look who wasn't killed in the night. Small thing, i know, the chances of me being killed was low, but still... something to consider.
  15. Quite simply because when I originally messaged you, you said you thought contact was a good idea, said you were a vanilla townie, and asked me if I'd learned anything since I sent out the messages. Everyone else I contacted immediately closed up and told me nothing, and I had to work to try to get them to contact me. The only person who would immediately jump at the chance of contact, but would not send our messages themselves, would be a scum. They would also claim to have no action, and would also try to find out if their contact had information. No one else asked me for information, nor did they open anything about themselves up.
  16. Haha! This is absolutely genius! It is instantly recognizable, uses.. what, two different types of pieces, and it super duper micro. Very creative!
  17. I have nothing to hide, and tomorrow, if I'm dead, you'll find that to be true. You're really pushing for this vote. I'm honestly trusting you less and less Yan. I think the reason you may want me dead was because I was digging so deep. I generally don't like the theory of turning around and accusing the accuser, but I was already suspicious of you and this certainly isn't helping my faith.
  18. Lord Boomingham threw back open the doors to Heroica hall. He was, quite frankly, shocked to see the amount of people who had amassed in his one to two day absence... and was even more shocked to see that some people, under the influence of drink, had never left. Lord Boomingham sat down at a table, and ordered a drink from the Orc bartender. He grinned at her. "Your fat old goat came back." "If you want to tell me about the Orc Invasion from your perspective, go ahead. I'm not totally unaware that the world has changed in my absence, I am interested as to what Orcs think now a days. Figure out what new schemes you're up to. And I'm still curious about the Veterans." He then yelled out to the bar. "Anyone want to meet me? Come say hello? Drinks on me if so." He turned back to Scheherazade. "You did say they were free, right?"
  19. Vote away, I've already told you what you're losing.
  20. Just goes to show how one can get lost in all the posts. I have introduced myself, thank you very much. I just want to catch up and learn a bit about some of my fellow adventurers.
  21. So many posts. I'm trying to not crowd up the thread too much or else I'll get so lost, but that doesn't mean I've lost interest in the game! I've also been away, so decided it would be rude to post and then not respond for two days. I'll try to catch up, and perhaps post. The game is interesting so far and I'm liking lots of the characters! As for Sandy talking about a Map, I was going to volunteer myself actually. But of course she's got it. I love maps. I love to know where I am.
  22. Hold the phone everyone. I said I would be "sick" (away) for the rest of the day and it was bad timing for me, but thank god I checked in. Time to explain. What Yan pointed out was exactly my plan. I am a vanilla townie, it's true, so my best weapon is trying to figure things out myself. I grow tired waiting for others to contact me, the only way to win this situation is to actually start to gather information yourself. So I did randomly choose 8 people. Yan did catch my ploy. I set it up so I would not get killed, that's true. It gave me two things: 1, if I was killed, which I was rather hoping for, it would show all the other people that I had contacted that they were all likely to be town, because killing me would have, in fact as Yan pointed out, stupid for the scum if they knew of my plan. So if I was killed, it would be likely that none of them were scum. I sent that message out to the people I trusted most, Eugene and Boris. Boris can luckily still confirm that for me. I also was not stupid enough to assume there was not a vigilante, so I factored that in, again something Boris can confirm. Assuming that I wasn't killed, I had 8 contacts. I think with this number of people, someone, well, everyone should have started to gather information. I gathered through private messaging that Eugene was town, and that is why I was not for a vote for him, and also why I was able to trust him with the message I sent out about the 8. Honestly, if I'm voted for, which seems oh so likely at this case, you'll just lose a vanilla townie. I'm expecting death, so here are my thoughts. Yan - Don't trust him. Before the vote, didn't ntrust him either. Donil can confirm this. Patrick - Again, just gut. Both of them acted funky in private conversations, saying that they didn't trust me but still communicating with me. Stanislav - Seems to be trying to subtly push for votes. He's hanging back and not running things, but trying to have slight influences. Clear scum tactics. Yuri - Randomly contacted me and said he suspected Roncantor since some unnamed source told him he had a "nasty" night action. It's too late for me most likely. Oh well, best of luck. Please, when I die, remember that those above suspects are not law, just what I think. I'd also ask you to not vote for me, but at this point I'm doubtful people will come back and unvote me. Hahaha. Just looked at the votes, and everyone who I listed already voted for me, two of them together. Total chance, I promise you, Donil can confirm I sent him those people before the vote began.
  23. Well there's no way for us to find out until it happens, is there? Like I said, I'm not sure I'll be back to discuss, but hopefully I will.
  24. I too will hopefully host a quest sooner or later! Also, I'd like to apologize to all Orcs and ladies in the thread. If all our characters were super likable and got along fine, it would be a bore. Nothing wrong with throwing a drunk, racist (Orcs are a race, yes?), flirtatious old man into the mix. I'l make sure he has some redeemable qualities at some point as well. The only issue is that I like Cronk a lot, but I can't befriend him. It's going great so far Sandy, but boy am I afraid of not being chosen for a Quest!
  25. If his vote doesn't count, that doesn't mean that mine won't. I also don't feel there's any evidence helping anyone else prove town, whereas a vote hijack seems like something that would happen to town.
