  2. No, the areas past the Threshold Monsters are all classified as "hard". The monsters there go all the way up to Level 99.
  3. I could go with these classes being Glory Point prizes. I just have to figure out if they are actually wanted/needed for this game, first. But the Expert Classes aren't really about fairness, anyway. You can only acquire most of them by participating in specific quests, after all.

  5. Has there been any "demon/dark" type enemies in the game? But yeah, if there was such an oxymoronic enemy, a light-elemental spell or weapon would do quadruple damage to it - just as darkness does quadruple damage to "holy/humanoid"-type enemies, for example. I might change some of the elemental weaknesses and immunities for the enemy types sometime in the future to further distinguish the types from each other, but I think people have most of them memorized by now so I don't want to mix things up too badly...
  6. I created these names so that the connection to the basic classes would be crystal clear (as they are unlike the other Expert Classes). The names are not as important as to what the classes should be able to do, though.

Some people have expressed their disinterest in the expert job classes for roleplaying purposes, and someone (I think Flipz) suggested adding expert classes that specialize and improve upon the six basic job classes. Anyone could advance to the class corresponding to their original basic class upon hitting Level 30, making them work somewhat differently from other experts. I've been toying around with the idea, and come up with potential names for them: Barbarian Gladiator High Cleric Templar Knight Archmage Scout Ranger Rogue Ninja Now the question remains, what will their abilities be? How will they be more powerful than the basic job classes, but not as powerful as the master classes? Here's my thoughts: - First of, they get a bonus to their health/ether. - Their equipment selection would stay the same as the corresponding basic class. - Including the job trait of the basic class, they would get two extra job classes (which would not be taken from the other basics). - Their SHIELD-skills would be more powerful. - Their fourth skills would be mostly different. - Otherwise they could do what their basic classes do - BG would deal great damage, HC would heal, TK would tank, AM would cast spells, SR would focus on ranged combat and RN would steal. How would these sound to you guys? Any suggestion for their job traits or battle abilities? Just remember that these are only on the planning stage, their implementation to the game is by no means certain yet.
  8. When Hybros has attacked with the Twin Kunai, I've rolled for the assassination attempt for both targets separately. He just hasn't succeeded in it for quite a while. Demons and dark enemies share the same elemental properties, but I'd say that in Hunter's case he cannot favour both at the same time (unless he has the Hunter's Quiver, of course). If he favours demons, he can only deal triple damage to enemies that are specifically categorized as demons. The same applies to any weapons that deal extra damage to specific types. The reason I created the "dark" enemy type is that I wanted to add enemies who are aligned with darkness, but are not demons. Waah, too complex! If a QM wants an enemy to deal elemental damage, he can just put a note on the enemy saying it does.
