  1. They are similar, as doomed inflicts sudden in death in three rounds, but ultimately they are different enough to say that enemies immune to sudden death are stil susceptible to doomed (and vice versa).

If you read the "Free Hits" section from the rules, it clearly says that one untargetted enemy gets a Free Hit on the first hero in the battle order, a second enemy gets to hit the second hero, etc. I think that's pretty clearly said that it doesn't matter how many turns one hero takes, he or she will always get one Free Hit unless the number of untargetted enemies exceeds the number of party members.

  8. QM Note: Sorry, I wasn't thinking! Encouraged still doesn't affect healing, but one tends to forget such details when calculating results for a party of this size. You are also right about Lee, I was only staring at his Level on not his Power. I've always counted Free Hits that way, though. It's not like hastened makes a duplicate of a hero, it just gives them an extra turn...

Counterstriking using the gloves is not strictly speaking an action, so it depends on how a QM interpretates "there is 1/2 chance [the confused person] will act against an ally instead of an opponent". Another thing up for QM's interpretation is how the Free Hits are divided among the party. The rules say "in the order of action", but to my recollection, I've always neglected extra turns given by hastening, instead aiming the Free Hits according to the first turn each hero takes to divide the damage more equally. Again, some people do it differently.

  15. You're right, I always forget about those damn claws. Tesni's Fiery Sawblade does have a Ruby imbued. Check out the Marketplace topic if you don't believe me. Before, of course, since they're part of the initial damage output. The multipliers multiply the damage done, so it doesn't make sense to add anything after them. You could argue that a weapon's element doesn't affect power bonuses coming from artefacts, but logically one strike cannot be "partially elemental", so it does.

  23. It does what it says it does in the rules: protects the hero from all elemental attacks or attacks that use ether. That usually means enemy Special Skills, since very few enemies have elemental attacks by default. I've posted clarification to how confused works when not attacking into the FAQ, as discussed earlier: Q: How does the confused-effect work in the case of the confused hero targetting an ally or himself, for example with healing or an item? A: The point behind the effect is that the confused hero becomes disoriented and has a chance of mistaking an ally for an enemy. This works the other way around as well - he might just as well mistake an enemy as an ally. To better phrase it, the confused hero has 1/2 chance of using their action to a random target on the unintended side. This does not apply when the confused hero targets himself, though, so he can use a Remedy on himself without care.
  24. Sorry, it seems I missed that immunity of Thalion's. I only looked for immunities against Fire... But yeah, Thalion shouldn't have taken any damage from the attack - but he did get confused all the same. I'll go fix it now.
