"Reunited 'cuase it feels so good....!" OMG! I think I'm in love ! The ship, IMO, looks great- it's a little longer than the BSB, comes with attacking Soldiers, working cannons (), and the coolest figurehead LEGO has ever made. But that is a cheap hull. Kraken Attackin' is basically Raft raiders with a cool red squid . Cannon battle is a nice little set, a great army builder. Isle of Treasure (I think) looks good- love the roasted fish ! Soldier's Fort, however, takes the cake. That thing is AWESOME. I mean, it's got a cool new plume, some nice new hats, and is that a beard/stache scared face? I hope! Overall, this looks great, and I can't wait to see the second wave, as well as the Shipwreck Island! No Islanders!

It sounds like a name only LEGO or Stan Lee could come up with.

Hmmmm.... I'm not keeping MY expectations high. Sure, I'm excited, but some of these names sound..... cheap. I'm hoping for a LOT of sets, and at LEAST 1 large Pirate ship (bigger than the BSB, even, I hope!) and 1 large Imperial ship (WAY bigger than the Armada!!!), as well as your standard Eldorado Fortress and Rock Island Refuge. It seems that we got those with Shipwreck Island and Soldier's Fort, but I just have this nagging feeling that the ships (if there are any) are gonna suck. Call me a freak, say my expectations are way too low, but I'm a worry wart .

I believe some "nude swooshing" has already happened, concerning the "Mission Commander" set.

Whung has given us a lot of true information thus far (though not directly- he doesn't post much), and I trust him now.

Excellent MOC! I love the human-drawn tram, I laughed out loud when I saw that. Great job on the building too, very nicely done. I love the way you did the windows- the brown color-scheme really works well for that! The fountain is also well done, love the dolphins/whatever on the side.

Wow, just wow! I mean, wow! Can I say it again? WOW! That is really incredible. The engines are very well done, the tail is amazing, and the cockpit/weapons are magnifico! Too bad he only has one pic...... I like the tank too.....

That looks amazing! I love the amount of detail you put into it, especially on the large rock wall. The cave looks like the perfect Pirate hide-out, and the array of buildings look stunning. I cannot wait to see more shots!

No, it's not my first language- I'm actually what you would call an English teacher, except I'm an Italian teacher. I don't know English THAT well, even though I think I can say I am pretty good at it, even if it is my fourth language. So, thanks for the insult, but I already know about that .

I was merely responding to your, "The speculation is actually quite pointless and rather vapid." line. Just so you know, the cutless and the rapier are very different. The rapier, during pirate times, was not at all ideal- when on deck, it might accidentily cut the rigging, and when below deck, there really wasn't enough space to use it. The rapier, which does not have the half-circle handle of the cutless, nor does it share it's curved shape, is very long and strait. The cutless is shorter, with what I described before: a short, slightly curved blade with a half-circle handle.

Well, not only is the idea of Pirates returning highly anticipated, but many think that it WILL come back. When you think about it, numerous evidence has been displayed, such as the cutless in the Indy sets. While many would say that Irina had a cutless in the movie, she actually had a rapier. So either LEGO made a mistake, was being lazy, or was hinting at something. Besides, it feels good to say Pirates will come back (even if it hasn't been confirmed).

I like the gang idea, but instead of yellows hunting fleshies and fleshies hunting yellows, why don't they hunt each other? Like different gangs always attacking each other? Wait, that's already been suggested! I might make a few fleshie vs. yellow MOCs myself... PS: Now that I think about it, the fleshies taking the yellows jobs reminds me of a debate going on in the U.S..... ;-)

:pir-wub: :pir-wub: I love it! You really improved on the flow of the figurehead, it's much more gradual now. The curve, slightl forced in the previous version, was fixed, which I'm glad to see. Great job !
