I've only a few gripes with this wonderful MOC: 1. The colors in the scene are a little too inconsistent- for instance, there is a green plate under the blue ones. Also, there is a red brick under the city itself which doesn't seem to be blood... 2. The man being killed by the shark has blood that is both red and trans red. I suggest going with what you already have, red. 3. As Strawberry has mentioned, the creation IS crowded. 4. There are points under the village which are gaps, I suggest you fill these in.

The imperials respond to the pirate attack...
Adam replied to Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?!'s topic in Pirate MOCs
I only have a few points of improvements that I would like to inform you of: 1. The scene itself requires a bit of landscaping, and would look nice with developed trees and foliage. 2. Adding a bit more blood would make the scene a little more realistic. :skull: 3. If you hadn't stated it in the description, I wouldn't know that the brown brick was a cannonball. Perhaps, if it was black, it would seem more like one. 4. Lt. Norrington's body could use a weapon and a more suprised position. -
This is one very good entry, but there are some minor improvements that I notice: 1. The blood doesn't look like it's quite coming out of the right places, and could be moved a little closer to the person. 2. The color of the wall is inconsistent- part of it is brown while the other is tan. Perhaps if it was all one color, it would look better. 3. The hole in the 1x1 brown brick looks out of place, and would look better as a regular brick. 4. It doesn't QUITE go with pillaging a village, though it's almost there. Other than that, a very good entry!

I can't find many gripes with this entry, but I have noticed some: 1. The gangplank would look better in grey, bley, or some other color than blue and brown. 2. The bird's perch would look better in brown. 3. I can't quite see what this has to do with pillaging a village.

Yes, but it just looks... boring.

This is a very good large entry, but it could use some improvements: 1. The color choice for the wall in the second picture is a bit strange, and would look better in grey. In fact, if the sewer section was pictured, it would add much depth to the MOC. 2. I don't quite understand the point of the guard house, which just looks out of place. 3. I think that the creation would look better if there was more fire by the gap in the wall so that it was filled almost completely. 4. The hole in the wall is good, but the long, thin gaps next to it just look strange and pointless. 5. The switch in floor color from grey to brown is odd, as is the switch from smooth tiles to tan plates. I suggest making the floor one consistent color and style. If you want to make one part of the floor a different color, don't make it jagged, but a definate section. Other than those minor gripes, this is a very nice entry! I don't think that it needs more gore, for the contest doesn't require you to make the walls and floor coated with blood- it just needs the village to be pillaged. However, a LITTLE more gore would be welcome.

This is an excellent creation, but I do have some gripes that I wish to point out to you so that you could recognize any possible improvements. 1. The blue lamp, while interesting, is a bit out of place, and would look better in black. 2. The guard's blue shoulder piece is also out of place, and would look better in yellow. 3. As others have said, the soldier should probably be facing the wall. 4. As Strawberry has noted, the floor tiles would do well to be of a different color such as grey or brown. 5. The whole creation lacks color, and where that color is present (such as in the torch), it is a bit overdone. This could be achieved by changing the roof. Otherwise, your creation was very good!

Witch Hunt Mafia - Confirmation Thread

Hmmm... it would seem that one member of the town is not present. Perhaps, if he does not appear, we should kill Will? -
I'll update this post with more captions later, but for now, it is just one: It wasn't the best episode of House, but it was certainly a dramatic one. Second Caption: Hermit in the back: Bye bye bonus.

Bernard, might you submit that bag of yours to the investigation? I don't like the look of it, as it may contain evil spirits or potions. -
Information Set Name: Knights Battle Pack Theme: Castle Set Number: 852271 Price: $12.99 Price: £6.49 Piece Count: 35 Minfigure Count: 5 Year of Release: 2007 I recently stopped by a LEGO store when I realised I was on a low budget- my wallet was practically empty. I ended up buying a large container of Pick A Brick and the Knights Battle Pack. I realize that this has been reviewed many times before, but I felt inclined to impose my opinion upon you. The Box The front of the box- I'll address the bottom left minfigure later. The back of the box- look closely and you'll notice that this is reffered to as the "Hero Knights Battle P". The Minfigures The box is opened to reveal exactly what you saw when it was closed! When you pull the flimsy holding out, the backround is probably going to come out with it. No worries, for that part isn't vital to the set. The cast is pictured above. It's all you get in the set. We begin with this wise swordsman. I'm sorry to say that I can't find this guy's shield- one of the longer, oval ones that is present on the jouster. I must have dropped it in my car, but since my wife is using it, I'll just have to wait. It would have been generous of Lego to provide the happy-scared face featured in the Vikings line, but alas, I was given a plain one. Then comes the classic scared-face archer. The archer is equipped with a quiver and a crossbow, which is a shame, as I'd of liked to have another bow. However, he does come with the regular confident-freaked out, "Sir Nadroj" face that is so humorous. After the archer comes the jouster, who, by the position of his jousting pole, obviously enjoys poking his fellows in the ribs. The jouster has a drunken face and the shield that the swordsman should have. Like his sword wielding friend, the jouster has no significant torso under his armour. This young spearman is the next to be showcased, and has, IMO, the best torso of the group. This little guy, which looks like a kid, is my favorite because of his great torso. It just has chain mail and a raised belt which looks very nice. Bringing up the rear is a bearded fellow with a strange lance-like weaon. I'd hoped that this face would have an angry back, but like the swordsman, he is plain. I am bewildered by the weapon he holds, but it's cool enough. Though his weapon is strange, the bearded fellow finds his lance perfect for spanking. The Rating Price: 4/5- for such a high price, it might be more worthwhile to get an actual set Mnfigures: 5/5- what else was the set about? Design: None Overall: 4/5- a great army builder which is the entire point of the set In conclusion, I would definately reccomend this set to anyone who whishes to evolve their crown army. Witch Hunt Mafia - Confirmation Thread

Why, my intentions were merely to get to know my fellow citizens and nobles better, but I can see how caution is necessary in these times. I'm afraid disposing of the peasants would not be of best interest, for it is highly possible that nobles are witches too. We must all be careful. -

I think that all questions should be posted as an FAQ of sorts in the first post- that way, they won't be asked again and again, and people wouldn't have to search between 5 some pages to find a specific answer. Anyway, is a tavern up for grabs? I wouldn't mind doing that... -

Adam was stuffed inside a too-small crate with little air, virtually no space, and a grumpy disposition. He didn't like to put his fate in others hands, but this time, he had no choice. Adam jolted when he heard the noise of a comotion outside. The distraction? He could only hope. Not long afterward, he bruised his forehead as the box thunked into something hard. -

(OOC: Thanks, Tiny Pies, for confirming me, though I feel a need to do so offically in this thread.) CONFIRMED Got that over with! ... Dragonator has a turban. -
Hello, Sirgo Serrygoe Sergio! Religion is quite important to our village, which is why I suggest we all take a moment to pray. *prays* Now, about this Majiko...?

Good morning, fellow citizens! I am Phillip, a noble in this unfortunate town. I can only pray that these cretins shall be rid of quickly and efficiently, for they most certainly must not plague this town or my studies! (OOC: I'm sorry for the late reply, but I was away on a trip for the past few days. However, I'll be free for a while. ) I'm an unmarried noble, and hope to aid the hunt in any way I can. Now, if I may, I shall retire to my chambers to read.

This sounds like a great idea, ISC! I may even volunteer! I've been wanting to build a Blacksmith's forge for a long time... -
No, it's not a LEGO horse... He's very young, not nearly as large as some of the other ones available. My wife picked him out (yes, we're married now! ), and he's brown with the cutest white stripes around his "ankles". I must admit, cleaning up the turd is a pain(), but his white tipped main really is lovely. As to what brand he is, my wife did all of the research, so I'm not sure... I'll have to ask her. He isn't able to be ridden yet, he's so small, and I'll try to upload pictures soon- I have yet to obtain a flickr acount (though I've been meaning to for about a year), and the pictures are difficult to upload.
