Those are really good Adnan. So this is another positive thing about bootlegs: cheap custom material! We probably should start a new thread on custom bootlegs in the minifig customisation workgroup :-)

Tonight i gave customising a try. I wanted to make a phasing Vision with the bootleg dargo stuff. But customising is not my forté i know now. When the paint is dry and i made some adjustments i'll show some pics to y'all. My minifigfate lies in the hands of tlc, bootleggers and professional customisers from now on i guess.

most of my figs are genuine lego, at least the figs they produced and that i want (not the sdcc ones of course). I'm not really a mcu fan (though i like the movies, i just like comics better. Especially the old ones) so i don't need those sets. I do like to have some of them, in that case bootleg will suffice. For instance Vision or Baron von Strucker, i dont know if there ever is going to be a comic version of, so i want them as placeholders. I used to buy a lot of sw sets, but because of rehashes and also lack of space i got more and more into minifigs. Then the sw figs became a little overdesigned for my liking, and my interest shifted completely to marvel superheroes. But sh sets are not really that great builds most of the time, so sometimes bootlegs are definitely a solution to me. I know i can just bricklink the real figures, but somehow i won't do it. Furthermore i must say that i'm getting more and more interested in custom figs. Still didnt make the step to buy one. Nowadays i get more excited about new bootlegs than most official sets.

Hey! I'm just working on a transparant vision :-D! Got my transparant minecraft this week. The transparant superheroes were quite good actually, but the minecraft is rubbish, when i have time i'll brasso and paint a phazing vision. But i fear i need to glue his hand in his arm because it wont stay. Damn you dargo grrr!

Today i received my sy vehicle with black bolt and i must say i'm pretty impressed with both the figs and the builds. Of course the builds would never be approved if released by lego because they're way unstable, but i like the designs and i like some of the bricks too. The figs are also great. I'm more a comic guy than a movie guy so i thought i wouldnt care for that magneto, but he's awesome. I don't know if they copied some peoples designs again, but sy did really good imho. I hope sy will continue this level of quality and bring us more sets and figs (and hopefully more characters that arent done already)

Any word on those other duolepins sets? Iron man and spiderman? The iron men seemed promising and the spiderman had a few nice accesoires.

I meant hawkeye and ultron not being all that great. Hawkeye his haircut looks like that of a housewife and ultrons mouth isnt coloured overall. I actually didnt look closely at the others :-s Maybe i exaggerated a little :-D

Kids will probably love the sandman set. I hate it. Crappy designs and too much needless playfeatures. I actually only like the pants with boots for spiderman (or comic captain america). Antman set - hurray Carnage set - that shield guy has an odd face, but nevertheless great set green goblin set - the set doesnt make sense, but hey, green goblin comicstyle

Those SY heroes look really good, but still i want the DLP wave. I just prefer that Ultron more. Now if only there would be some Ali-links :-s The syUltron is awesome too, so i hope they will release him in a vehicle wave and i still can purchase him. About the new sy 209 vehicle wave; i want to see a review first. I'm not in need of those figures, but the builds look cool. Especially Hawkeye's bike and that chibi helicarier. Still i'd rather see new characters in these waves then the ones we already have. By the way, don't we have members overhere that can read chinese and know where/how to find the DLP wave? Or should we still be patient?
