  10. I think we can put our hopes for an 'Blue coat error print' in the refrigerator. And maybe it's like Wes & HMS243 said and I quote: the black button ones were from the re-issues. But let's hope that one day a Blue coats comes out of the closet... One remark… it is, however, strange that there are so few (talking about the Red coats). If you consider that everyone of us have Red coats in the arsenal of mini figures (bought in the past years on Ebay, Bricklink or from his childhood).
  11. Welcome to Eurobricks...
  12. Not it's not that fragile... of course it's not the same as brick+brick.
  13. Link to part used for Palm tree trunk
  14. If it's cataloged by year of release... still it's strange. Because Caribbean Clipper, Eldorado Fortress was released 1998 / Harbor Sentry, Sabre Island was released 1990. If we follow the timeline we come to 1991 and in this year Broadside's Brig & Lagoon Lock-up came out (not 1992 like you noticed and we may believe Lugnet). All 6 sets are Bluecoats. In other words for me it would be normal if Broadside's Brig & Lagoon Lock-up also would be cataloged/ fall under Imperial Soldiers (as we follow the timeline). Since the first Redcoats only appeared in 1992 with Bounty Boat, Imperial Flagship and Imperial Trading Post. You understand what I want to say because after 1991 no bluecoat set will be released. But now Lagoon Lock-up and Broadside's Brig are under Imperial Guards aka Redcoats. If we use the ships as a reference to distinguish which is red (Imperial Guards) and blue (Imperial Soldiers). Timeline: 1998 Caribbean Clipper, Eldorado Fortress 1990 Harbor Sentry, Sabre Island 1991 Broadside's Brig, Lagoon Lock-up 1992 Bounty Boat, Imperial Flagship, Imperial Trading Post 1993 Cannon Cove 1994 'Imperial Cannon', 'Imperial Guard Camp', 1995 Imperial Outpost
  15. Humm...
  16. Like 74louloute said,... with the technic of 1x2 brick and 1x1 round brick you have more possibilities in diameter of the tower. With the technic of Nathan it's one diameter.
  17. Or just put a blanket between the sail and the Iron.
  18. I always thought that the Imperial Guards were the Red-coats and the Imperial Soldiers were the Blue-coats. But when I surfed om Lugnet I saw this isn't correct... or Lugnet is not correct... You can see on this site the Blue and Red are mixed. Link: Imperial Guards -> set Broadside's Brig (#6259 - Blue-coats) and set Imperial Outpost (#6263 - Red-coats) Link: Imperial Soldiers -> only sets of Blue-coats (Harbor Sentry, Sabre Island, Eldorado Fortress, Caribbean Clipper) The mainly reason why I thought this was by means of the ships. Link: Caribbean Clipper - Blue-coats Link: Imperial Flagship - Red-coats So what's the true story about this ? Does anybody know this ? Thanks for a reply and help.
  19. Ha... I see... and indeed that's the best thing you could do with the original parts. Thx for the reply... (by the way... I got your package yesterday... THX !!!)
  20. Or you could build round towers with this technic (by Nathan Todd). For me the best solution so far... Thumbs up Nathan. But what's the key... ??? ... this is the key to this beautiful technic: Or you could use the technic from Daniel Z DNL (original by Danarchy - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3481013). It works with a 1x1 technic brick with hole and a half pin + # 30413. And the effect is excellent. I hope it helps !!!
  21. Hi Zorro... nice touch in your photo... a lazy fox that commands his troops... But I'm not the one with the historical knowledge… but which helmet of the old days must this represent ? Thanks in advance for a reply.
  22. This is my favorite one...
  23. Nice job !!! Constructive criticism about the stern: I would add some black in it + bluild it 1 brick higher. Example:
  24. One word... AWESOME !!!
  25. So far no luck for me... but what about the Bluecoats... is there somebody with this "error" ?!
