  1. I'm out for this, no time at the moment... Just want to say good luck to all that get in!
  2. Congratulations! I hope you have a successful turnout at your first meeting. If we can offer any input or...anything, just shoot me a pm. Stash NILTC
  3. Ok, just gonna chime in here... PAB case prices have gone up in stores, so you are all aware. It was just time for them to adjust prices; remember, not everything costs the same. I just so happen to have a very, VERY strong PAB business in my store and keep everything as updated as I can. My wall cycles through a lot of PAB weekly and I thought about updating brickbuilder, but I just wouldn't be able to keep up. I believe you are looking for these....? They used to be available in the PAB walls in Dark Bley and Trans. Red, but are only available in White at the present time. As for Build A Minifigure (BAM) parts, we are not allowed to sell them by the case. Sorry. And one more time so HOPEFULLY this can come to an end... All of the stores have a listing of what we CAN order for our stores. This changes weekly due to stock levels and what others have ordered the previous week. The selection we are given is much smaller than what is available on the LEGO.com website. The new items for the next 10 months or so are already available in stores. Yes, all stores have access to the same selection of PAB. No, one store will not get "special pickings" or "special elements" over another store. If you find something like that, chances are it was a misplaced box that was found in the back room or a new item. Hope that helps! By the way, for those of you in the states looking for PAB in quantity...I just know a store that will ship cases out if needs be.
  4. No, if you flat out just ask, they won't give you any info. If you approach their business department and have a laid out plan of action for a company, then I'm sure you would sign an NDA and be given information. Are you trying to start your own store, or are you just asking because?
  5. Honestly, if you want to know how it works bricklayer, contact LEGO themselves. I'm sure you're going to get a better answer from them as oppossed to all of us. AussieJimbo, I know you aren't happy with the prices in Australia, I can tell by a few of your recent posts, but let's keep it to topic and again, contact LEGO themselves and tell them how unhappy you are. Customer comments have a real impact there, believe me!
  6. Aluminum Falcon, Republic Frigate, Anakin and Sebulba's Podracers, and Sith Nightspeeder! VIP Cards are awesome!
  7. Nope, best picture I found to 'hopefully' get the point across though. When I do finally make it over, I'll be sure to let you know!
  8. Unfortunately, I had a flood in my basement this past May. Of course, just about everything I had been working on for the EB Brickworld display was in the basement. So...everything was either a mess, dirty, or destroyed. That's why the EB Display was literally put together in less than 2 days. So, here's the picture of the 2011 Eurobrick's SigFig Display! I appreciate everyone's interest and those that wanted to be a part of this. Next year is already in the works, if you can believe that, and the SigFig Display WILL be there!

  10. Yeah, all of a sudden, the legouni.com page magically disappeared. I found that to be a good resource for info and stuff. I play occasionally now...the premise is just getting to damn repetitive. Besides, Nexus tower is too damn big. I'd rather be playing then running around a tower all day. Now, other than an ocassional 30 minutes here or there if I'm bored...I am patiently awaiting SWTOR!
  11. Nope, no problems, I've still got sails from the original Dark Shark and the Carribean Clipper. Time wears them down but hot water for about 20-30 minutes usually softens them up. Then just press them into a few flat paper towels to dry them out.
  12. I've found with older cloth flags, capes, and sails, if I place them flat in a plate of hot water from the tap and leave them for a while, they seem to take care of themselves pretty well. Let them dry out on a paper towel and there ya' go!
  13. Feel free to add a small link in your signature if you want for your Bricklink store. Blatant advertising for your store is not allowed here on Eurobricks and violates the terms and conditions when you signed up to be a member. Therefore, this topic is locked!
  14. Lotta sets in there, some almost twenty years old. If they really are in good shape and the owner didn't wash them in bleach, might not be bad. Lots of unique stuff though, not so much for bricks...but some great sets. But then again, if you really want them, then no matter what you pay it's a good deal.
  15. I am always up for tea!

  16. Care to link to where you saw this information?
  17. Picking up Copmike and Quarryman in about 45 minutes, then going to get Rufus and Pandora. Then we go to invade the Woodfield store. After that, dinner, Registration aroound 6pm, and opening ceremonies at 8. Vincent, if I had room in the vehicle, I would be more than happy to give you a lift. I'm just packed right now and am kinda curious to see what it looks like after we fill the van with yellow bags. So sorry to all of you about the relocation of the Chicago store. I knew that it moved but I guess just took it for granted because I'm from here and knew about the relocation. And no Dale, it's not an excuse. I'm actually quite pissed off that I really don't have anything to contribute. Sucks! However, I have this strange feeling that next year is already being planned. Talk to you all soon.
  18. Phred, I already accounted for you and the wife! Rufus and Pandora, glad to hear you both made it. Good to see CopMike and Quarry made it into the city. I am currently at Woodfield since the Brickworld discount started today and we have had attendees coming in all day long. I'll be here til close, might see some of you. Seen a lot of locals so far. 847-517-1640, I'll be here until about 9pm if you need anything.
  19. Since we are limited on space, I would say maybe bring switches and ramps if you need to. Other than that, I've got plenty of curves and straight track so we should be ok.
  20. I'm thinking Saturday night. I figure we'll order right after we close up at 4 pm or so. This way if any of you EB people are around and want to socialize with us, you can. Last year was just too big and too many people snuck in so we literally ran out of food. I know Ricecracker and Norro kinda got hosed on the deal...that won't happen this year.
  21. Best out of all the Age of Empires was III. I upgraded Warchiefs and Asian Dynasties. Love the Brits for rush and love the Dutch for Turtle! Don't play online as much as I used to but actually started playing again last week. I'll add my username to the first post.
  22. Planning, yes; that part is going well. Done with building...not even close. But as Q man said, I work well with some sort of deadline... I'll probably close the SigFig build signup on Tuesday next week. There's just too much to construct still and the more time I have to focus, the better. I am looking forward to hanging out with everyone though!!!!
  23. Please make sure that when posting, you use actual words typed out. This is not a chat board. Thanks.
