  1. Great job ! I really like the shape of your ship and the color scheme is great. Keep showing us such great MOCs
  2. Waow, I won on the first day !! I really think I couldn't win. It is so great to have these raffles and contests here. Thank you eurobricks and all raffle and contest makers.
  3. This ship is so well designed by LEGO. I really love it. Moreover, I thought the construction was rather interesting. I think it is one of the best spaceship made by Lego (with the jedi starfighters of course). I rated above average only because of the price and the only one minifig (they could have put a second pilot like we had e second Magna droid) but the ship itself deserves an outstanding
  4. I have been used for the few past years to buy most of my LEGO sets from a Toys'r'us store that is close to my house and from the LEGO website when they have promotions. Moreover, I buy a lot of sets during TRU promotion buy two LEGO, get the third one for 1 €. Last week (this promotion happened last week in France), I bought 9 sets at once.
  5. Count me in please !
  6. The most recent LEGO are the best for a few points : They use new pieces, making ships more accurate, Lego is now able to ma more new molds so we get more minifigs, there are new colour used (the dark red and the dark blue are awesome)... And the new is often what we prefer because it is new. Of course, many can say that some old sets were better than the ones, I think some new design are worst than the before ones but we often have many improvements. So the Lego I prefer are the most recent generally speaking so the clone wars series is for the moment the best one in my opinion, but if we have a new series of pretrilogy sets, well-designed like the clone wars were, PT will be the best. Moreover, The Clone Wars presents a lot of new ships, making many possibilities for TLG to make new sets so we won't have the same problem we had with OT that there are only a few different ships existing.
  7. In France, like all the other past years, a buy two LEGO sets, get the third one for 1

    AT-RT

This AT-RT is really well done. I really like how you used only no special pieces to make the legs in an easy but realistic way. Great job !!
  9. This new version of the AAT looks awesome. This model is far more minifig scaled than the oldest AAT that was already a good set. The color scheme is very nice, with a lot of details. I also really like the new superbattle droid arm and I hope it is possible to fold them up, like in the movies. I am only disapointed by the battle droid arms. I hoped we would get at least one battle droid with an arm to old a blaster. I also think it would be better if the set came with a coruscant trooper (the red ones like in the Homing spider droid) to make it closer to the first episode Ambush. About the speeder, as it is said that it is detachable, I thnk it is a part of the AAT we can remove for more playability.
  10. The technique pieces do not matter to me. I think it is usefull to make big sets with less pieces (so the prices are lower) whereas the model is stronger. Of course, using technique pieces like in the UCS Millenium Falcon may the interior ship less detailed but the exterior design stay really good. The only too much technical set in my opinion was the 2003 Hailfire droid but even there, the design was good.
  11. At least, we won't have different versions of it like we can have with the vulture droid. The LEGO version is not very accurate but I don't think we can make them look really better unless they create new special pieces to build them. So I think and finally hope we will stay with this version.
  12. A serie of podracer (one per set) with in each set a part to make the stadium and some minifig for the crowd would be awesome. I can imagine maybe five or six different sets with the main podracers (Anakin, Sebulba, Gascano...) one pit droid and one or two minfigs with sand pieces to make the stadium.
  13. I really like all the sets and I think the Republic shuttle is not as bad as that. I just think it should be bigger with more clones (at least one more pilot clone). I am very found of the new AAT and I hope we will have soon more details about the new superbattle droid arms. About the Ashoka starfighter, I really like the new droid but I wish the vulture droid was in the same color scheme than the ep III ones we get in the utimate space battle.
  14. The snowspeeder was my second starwars set, and it is the one that made me begun collecting LEGO Star Wars. It is rather simple in the conception but looks great in my opinion. Nevertheless, the newest versions are better.
  15. This set is good with an awesome minifig, but I have always thought that the walker was too big comparing to the movie. I hoped we had a smaller walker with one more clone or a wookie. Nevertheless, it has good parts.
  16. We already had a Tantive IV UCS before that cost 200 € with about 1700 pieces and having it, I don't see were they could include some place for the minifigs. If it is really a playset, I think it will be bigger than the one we had before, and with minifigs and accessories, I think it will cost more than 200 €
  17. These sets seem really good. I'm looking forward to seeing the Republic Venator (it is on of my favourite ships in Star Wars. It seems we will have also two long waited OT sets, the Echo Base being a super battle pack in my opinion. It seems that we won't have too many big sets, so it will be easier to get all 2009 collection (if there are not other sets reveled, maybe we have to add the Toysr'us exclusive that we will know in February)
  18. I'm loving it You did a really good job Will you made an Hoth or an Endor panorama with it ? It would be awesome to see a few snowspeeders attacking it.
  19. A great mod. Only missing an Ayala Secura to recreate the execute order 66 on Felucia. You did a great job, very accurate and big.
  20. thank you very much for these new pics. The AAT seems awesome with the the stickers that have been aded since last pics andmake it looks really better. I really like both battle packs and their vehicules. I think the clone walker is great and can be easily modified to make it like an AT-RT (it is more scaled than the clone scout walker we had in 2005).
  21. Sets names are great and I am very pleased to learn whatever new set will come out next year, but what matters more, in my opinion is how it is designed, which bricks we will get, which minifigs come with and so on. Speculating about next set name is in my opinion vain: maybe we will have an Endor set, but if it only comes with a sppeder bike, an AT-ST and a door like the Echo base one, a scout trooper and two or three stormies, it won't be a great set because we won’t have anything new. Lego are before all bricks and designing models with, and we can discus about a set only if we have pics of them.
  22. TLG seems to look a lot at the different country’s markets but sometimes I can not understand why prices are so different. Even above European countries, sets are not sold at the same price. For example, the jedi starfighter costs 25€ in Belgium and 30€ in France , whereas the Republic gunship costs 10 € less in France than in Belgium. How can you explain the French and the Belgium markets are so different? And if you look carefully, you can not find any European country having the same price with another one. Of course, these differences are not as important as with the United-States, but they really puzzle me because I can not find any proper explanation : these countries are member of the Schengen space so it is the same unique market.
  23. Generally speaking, (I only studied the price difference between France and Belgium, that are rather close countries but they are the same differences with other countries, small sets are cheaper in Belgium but big sets are more expensive than in France. Because they are the same prices to make and transport in Europe (LEGO come from the same factories in Europe, I am not speaking about the US, which has its own factories and a far bigger market), TLG adapts its prices to the market and the ask in order to make the more money they can. It can seem some times strange but I think we have to respect LEGO prices policy and if we can, try to get the sets where they are the cheapest.
  24. I have the same problem with my droids, but even the ones I didn't put in the old version of the MTT are a little bit weak However, I've never broken a Lego brick as far as I can remember.
  25. I've always thought it was Anakin's mother, Schmi Skywalker. Nevertheless, I wish we had more Padmé with different clothes : as Queen of Naboo, in Geonosis battle...
