  1. A really amazing scenario. This scene is just excellent, we can see the tension. You added a lot of amazing details, with great building techniques. Your probe droid is just
  2. This mini is far better than the oldest version !, it is a shame it can not be bought exept with the Brickmaster magazine. Indeed, the middle leg is rather strange, but there are so many details !
  3. good catch ! I had never seen these differencies but with your picture, it becomes clear. Thank you for sharing your starwars knowledge with us !
  4. I think that the gunship is better without the pods. Moreover, gunships don't have these pods in the Clone Wars. But for a movie accuracy, it is a good idea. Maybe you should close the turret adding a second bubble.
  5. It is definitly a must buy ! The fact that LEGO included two big vehicules that interact is very good. The AT-OT seems awesome, with some great functions and all these drk green sits. The dropship is just wonderfull. I think it is even better than the Republic gunship, maybe because of the color scheme and its size !
  6. These pictures are awesome and we can finally have more details about this summer sets. The AT-OT with LAAT is a great surprise and a must by in my opinion. I agree that a jedi would have been welcome ut we can not ask too much, it is one of the best sets in term of vehicules. I only hope we will get a set for separatists like this one. In two years, TLG will have made most of the important Republic ground vehicules. It is wonderfull to see that a big Republic army can be so easily made now. The new details we get are very interesting and I am definitly found of the new Endor set. I think this year will be very expensive so maybe sets that are not as great as the other such as the clone wars Y-wing or the Venator (I am a little bit disappointed with this one, I hope we will get a UCS version like the ISD) won't be bought. Thank you very much for the pics. We now have only to wait for the sets themselves
  7. I really liked this set. I was still a kid when I get it (I was 11), and I played a lot with it. The design is good and the color scheme is excellent (except the blue bricks, but it seems that LEGO loves blue bricks because many of them are included whereas there is any blue part in the ship. The main problem in that set, like Mack said in his great review, was the lack of droids. It was really difficult to build a big droid army until the 2007 battle droid because we had only two of them per set.
  8. Hi KimT, I have made some pictures of some of the minifigs of the epI you were missing. Here is the link I hope the pictures are good enough for you. This is an exemple of one If you want, I can make some pictures for ep IV, V, VI when I have some time. I have a good collection of the StarWars LEGO collection but it is far from being complete so you may ask
  9. This set is great for the minifigs, but I am a little bit disappointed by the control room. I hoped we would get a bigger one, with more places to sit rebels. Nevertheless, the hangar seems wellmade, and big enough to fit several A-wing I wonder if it is not a kind of propulsion system so the A-wing can easily take of. But is should be a rather strange function
  10. Thank you for reviewing it it is a good set with great minifigs. The imperial guards are part of my top list minifigs. Nevertheless, I always though this set was too small and a little bit inaccurate because the ramp for the emperor must come under the cockpit (which lacks of details in the set). I think TLC is able to make a better imperial shuttle, but it needs to be far bigger. I hope we will get one day a UCS Imperial shuttle which would be scaled to the minifigs (like the UCS Millenium Falcon).
  11. Thank you for the informations ! I hope Toysrus will also get some Chrome Vader to give away in France. The Endor set seems really awesome like you descripted, with a lot of playability for young builders and a lot of details for collection.
  12. Here is my first review so do not hesitate to give me tips so I can make better reviews next. The landspeeder is a 10 year old set, and the first one I get in the Star Wars collection. Here are the figures : landspeeder's set's reference : 7110 year of release : 1999 price : 50 FFr (This set is older than euro , if I translate to euro, it is about 7,50 €). parts : 47 minifigs : 2 ObiWan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. And no stickers, it was the good old time when LEGO did not include a DSS in every set. the instructions first and last page are the same as the front and the back of the box : first page : last page : like for the other sets of this period, the minifigs building together the set and an alternative construction idea A random page note the small pictures of the movie in the top of the page I though it was great to have these because we could see the reference of the action and the building is more pleasant. (even if building LEGO is synonym of fun ) the set itself : Nearly nothing to say about it. It is one of the smallest LEGO StarWars but it comes with two great minifigs and a chromed light saber. Here are the minifigs the landspeeder is rather small with a low design. There are not rare pieces in this set except the sand reactors. Without minifigs With the two heroes : Note the place to put the lightsaber just beside the seats. There is no function in this set but the speeder is enough smooth to have a good playability. Just to compare with the landspeeder of Mos Eisley Cantina set : The oldest one is less accurate in size and colour but is still a good set. I don't like to give a mark to a set because this one would not get a good mark if I was objective. The pros are : a cheap set with two good minifigs a small and with a medium-good playability set (apart making the two guys going out, there is not many things to do with it) Cons : the lack of accuracy no special pieces, it can be easily built without buying the set. Nevertheless, I really like this set because it is my first StarWars one and made me collect this theme until today (and I don't think I will stop soon ) For the last picture, a small action with it (I only put two other sets with) : "Are these the droid we are looking for ?" I hope you enjoyed !
  13. You made a really good job making this MOC. You brought new and far better versions of vehicules already made by LEGO. Keep on improving this vehicules and showing us your wonderfull MOCs
  14. A very good MOC you brought us here. Your speeder bike is far better than LEGO ones. I will definitly need to get the parts to build my speeder bikes . It represents very well the speedness of the bike and you added so many details.
  15. In my opinion, the faulcon may be scaled to fit with the Home one. It would be great if these sets came together. we could use the Home One hangar to place the falcon.
  16. Once more, it is an excellent MOC. You used good parts in an intelligent way to make the droid holding its gun more accuratly. Great job and keep on showing your creations
  17. A good and well made scene that represent well ep III. I really like your lava and the droid Anakin is on. Keep on building !
  18. Thank you for reviewing this great set. I had a lot of fun playing with this one and was definitly a buy multiple set (but I was too young to imagine buying more than once the same set). It was rather cheap when compared with today's battle packs. I am looking forward to getting next summer Battle of Endor set so I can put these est together to represent a good Battle of Endor scene.
  19. A very good and small set I also get ten years ago. The minifigs were definitly worth it. The buildings are inding too bulky but the pieces given were more standart, so it is easier to build other things with sets like this one rather than with newer ones. Thank you for the review
  20. Once more, you did a really good job. A lot of interesting building techniques. The one I prefer is the magnaguard droid but the three droid are great ! Keep on showing us your work
  21. It exists in French but it is not available in France (at least I didn't find how to get it). In the LEGO site, it says that it is available only in Austria, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States but not in France nor in Belgium. So if someone knows how to get them in France, I would be happy to know.
  22. Just to avoid getting 5 same vehicules but rather get some plate base bricks to make a nice battle field !! I am really missing LEGO StarWars lack of land. We see great landscapes in the movies, It would be great if LEGO gave us some of them : a big base plate, some trees or exotic plants, a few rocks or a city battle field like a bridge or ruins.
  23. I really hope we will get a new Battle droid Battle pack, but with the new weapons this time. It could come with four battle droid, two superBattle droid and a small vehicule. The old droid battle pack was good exept the droid didn't have the good arms and weapons It is true some random minifigs would be great but the main problem is that TLC controls the set buy their weight to know if pieces are missing.
  24. We already got rather rare and unknown minifig making a new mod necessary. For exemple, Greedo is not very famous for a no hardcore StarWars fan but he had his minifig in 2004 because he is rather cool and kids like aliens. The Bounty Hunters we get with the slave 1 are only one minute at screen but once more, they added a lot of playability. So I think we can get these minifigs not because they are famous but because they add a lot of playability. Nevertheless, I think Home One wil rather come with Ackbar, Luke (Endor version), Endor rebel troopers, a rebel pilot and a rebel tech.
  25. A great job full of wonderfull details. I really like the lava and the lava droid is well-made, with just basic but well used pieces. Good luck for the contest !
