DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
CommishGordon replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't believe they are the same material. The new long cape is soft; the one around his neck is stiff - just like the older capes. -

Although I very much like the new capes, if you are looking to avoid Martian Manhunter's cape, you could use the cape from the promo Manhunter minifig along with the top part from the new set. Speaking of the new set, I really like the Brainiac Attack set. The figures are great (having the villain from the video game is perfect) and I think the Skull Ship is my favorite ship in the super heroes line. -

The Batman Beyond (or Batman of the Future) character pack was released today in the United States. Downloaded them this morning - really like some of the characters! -

I think the new DLC packs will be great! I'm having a lot of fun with this game. Does anyone know about a US release for the Batman Beyond (or Batman of the Future) DLC pack? -

I have had the great fun of playing through the story, the bonus level and the three add-ons from the DLC pack and I am having a great time with the game - I really enjoy it a ton. I am still learning my way through and around some of the hubs but I hope, over time, I'll finally get it. Does anyone know when the Arrow DLC will be released in the US and if the Batman Beyond DLC will be released in the US? And Slade Wilson's alter-ego is in the regular game as an unlockable character. -
I bought one off of ebay as I couldn't make it to a store for the event. Really like it - it looks great with a Commissioner Gordon next to it!

I like that Alfred design. Perhaps if they release this onto video (like with some of the Star Wars specials), Alfrd will be the promotional minifigure. He would look great alongside the New 52 Batman - which I cannot wait to add to my collection! -

Actually, I'm pretty excited about getting a civilian in a set. As much as I enjoy collecting the Superheroes, it is pretty difficult creating any scene where they are rescuing someone without any civilians. I've actually gone to Ebay and Amazon to purchase some of the flesh characters from other lines to help make a scene (yes, I know: I'm a nerd), so I'm glad LEGO is including a civilian in the Grodd set. And I'm really excited about all of these sets - not disappointed about any of them. -
I received my Tumbler last Thursday and had the chance to build it over the weekend. I really like it. The vehicle is larger than I expected - which is great - and I thought the build was pretty enjoyable. To top it off the minifigures and the stand make a perfect display piece. I'm very happy with the Tumbler.

Although I don't post often, I do enjoy the discussion on the 2015 sets and the excitement of uncovering what they are and their contents! As stated by others, I am equally excited for all four of these sets - and very much looking forward to the New 52 designs of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman (I especially like the redesigned cowl for Bats). Also, being able to expand our LEGO DC Universe with Green Lantern and several new super-villains will be terrific. Now the one thought in my head is (assuming they are all released in the winter wave): should I get them as soon as they are released or wait until Superhero Month and obtain the exclusive minifig at the same time! Oh, the trials and tribulations of a LEGO enthusiast! HaHa -

I'm with you, NuffSaid1996: I really hope they make the New 52 Batman - he looks great! Would be my favorite Batman (especially if he has the short-eared cowl!)! -

I think Alfred is slightly different than the previous games because he has black legs. I believe the previous incarnations of Alfred, including the physical minifigure, have gray legs. So, perhaps, a slight change? -
A Black Mask minifigure would be great! After seeing some of the trailers, I think there are a lot of great potential minifigures: Captain Gordon, Batman, Firefly, Joker, Bane... So many possibilities.

I can't argue with your statements. I'm excited for the Batman/Flash set - mostly because my nephew is a huge Flash fan and he will be thrilled to have him. I don't mind the new Batmobile at all, but I've come to the conclusion that the new Riddler will have to be modified to become a henchman for the Funhouse Riddler. The Flash is an added bonus. Can't wait to see what other sets will be coming out...

As I watch the old 1960s Batman show, I can't help but think what a great figure a LEGO Mad Hatter would be! One of my many hopes for 2014 is a Hatter minifigure (along with Black Mask and Ra's al Ghul)....

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
CommishGordon replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Figures based on "Batman Begins" or "The Dark Knight" would be fantastic - and I agree that the movies are not for younger kids, but that includes TDKR and yet we still got figures based on their movie counterparts. And I'm not sure there is a worse scene in any of those movies than when Bane breaks the Bat. I'm all for sets based around The Dark Knight Trilogy. -

I made my order from LEGO today and can't wait to get Jor-El. The great thing about my order is the giveaway Iron Man polybag was included, too. Loving the super hero line! -

Well, I know that I would buy add-ons to Arkham Asylum - certainly depending on what mini figures are included. Could be a great way to get some new villains and Nightwing, Batgirl or other Batman characters we are missing. In regard to an X-mansion: sounds like a great opportunity for a number of minifig characters. Being more of a DC guy, I'd be in favor of a mansion set so that it could become Wayne Manor. -
Top Ten Super-Heroes Minifigures!

Nick Fury I really like the movie/realistic versions of Batman and Superman. And I waited years for a Commissioner Gordon figure! -

I like the Clark Kent figure, too. I used the Clark head and put it on an older blue suit figure and used an extra Superman's hair to make him look as close to the character in the movie/video game as I could. It's nice to have a Clark Kent with Lois Lane and some of the other civilian minifigs. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of Clark's glasses being colored in - glad that Commissioner Gordon's were not (despite the fact that I like The Penguin's colored in monocle). -

I just ran across a boxed picture of one of the Superman LEGO sets from "Man of Steel" and thought the forum might enjoy it. Not sure how to hide the image as it might be considered a spoiler so I'll just attach the link. I'm looking forward to the sets a great deal! Here goes: http://www.pnj.com/u...article/1876431 -

The higher resolution box art looks great! I'm with those the hope Mr. Freeze has a googled face, too, but I think he has a great design, regardless. And, of course, to get a Commissioner Gordon figure will be an excellent addtion to the collection! I know this is probably something that everyone is wondering, but do we have any news as to exactly when these sets will be released? I'm in the USA and it would certainly make sense to have them for the Black Friday sales and/or Christmas season. Hopefully someone has some info or we will get news on the release dates soon.... -

As I am certianly excited for the new DC Super Heroes sets, I am also anxious for a Commissioner Gordon minifigure. He is one of my favorite characters! Hulk_Smash, can you tell me if he was wearing the SWAT outfit or something more Gordon-like, and what was his role in the Bat v. Tumbler set? Seems a little out of place if there isn't anything for him to do (unless he's being rescued!). Thank you! And, I'm looking forward to the new Mr. Freeze figure - I think he looks great!
