Thanks, yes the head is the 1x1 plate. Thanks, yes, it is a figure for board game play. It occupies 4 man spaces on board. It is one of boss figures. Oh thanks, I like that sword too.

Thanks, tried but doesnt look good. Oh thanks. I think this version is much better than my previous version (10 years ago)

For scale, I was trying to base on the original Star Wars size. You can check out the youtube video below, it also count the overall height/length. Actually this video is quite stunning to me because some size of Star Wars stuff I really didnt know before. Quite educational, I mean.

Since Lego has some new parts in recent years, I try to re-build this droideka again. Reference image Mocpages link http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/452617 Roll the ball !

BTW I was known as Hopeso009, actually you can search on MOCpages for all my previous works. I always do MOC in that scale. However I lost the password of that account since I stopped play LEGO for a few years. HAHA no time to play. Now I am using my true name Joe Luk and keep updating MOCpages with this account. Now I am re-building the Droideka (MF scale) since LEGO had added some new parts during these recent years. Now I can make it much better than my previous version (Hopeso009's Droideka http://www.moc-pages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=127499&id=/user_images/24713/12448950372).

Thanks very much for your appreciation. Thanks Talking about scale, probably people interprete differently since LEGO MF is a "cute" version (not to proportion to a true human figure, head big, body wide...) But for model building, we commonly count the "overall size" as the basic count. The most significant dimension for counting the overall size for a MF seems to be the easiest height . so I count the size of a human figure in LEGO with that (MF height = human height, about 1.8m ~ 2m tall) All my MOC follows this abovesaid scale. E.g. my MOC AT-ST is about 4 MF height (8~9m tall) in LEGO world, which matches what Star Wars did. Otherwise if we base on head size of MF, I am afraid it may looks odd (too big) when we put it in a scene with Hoth base and AT-AT together. Anyway this abovesaid about scale is my explanation about my own interpretation, hope not offence anyone. Anyway thanks again.

I saw a lot of attempt on internet about buiding AT-RT with LEGO. But sadly either too big (not in scale) or too simple/blocky (build with big blocks and big joint). I try to build it myself. At start, I knew this task is difficult. I have to encounter the difficulties : - in scale (overall height about two man height) - joints of legs - front cover shape I think I did it pretty close, hope u guys like it. Reference image From the picture and Star Wars info, the AT-RT should be around 2 man height

Thanks, yeah this question made me having a hard time two days ago. Finally I came to this solution The build of this turret is : 2 of this to hold the cannon Connect to this Insert the stem to 2 of this

Wow thanks Just a combination of some castle stuff. Thanks The angle is for better display and more space on outer ground. Haha, sure the castle can stand the attack of trebuchet (because the castle is out of its range, haha too close I mean. The trebuchet hit 2.4m away). The tree, oh yes, need reinforcement. Because originally the trees are not that tall. I just put / stacked 2 trees together to leave more space for trebuchet. Haha, originally it is half height only. you have sharp eyes though

Thank you Haha, I think so too. Oh yeah, Halloween ~!

Thank you very much again MAB Thank you, Louis ot Nutwood Yeah ~~ that original head is "too friendly" and the long neck with no protection looks weak.

Lovely little ships Especially love the firing effect of cannon, very clever. And I like this micro-scale, good for put them in board game fight you may try to build the port and some town houses / castle. I think it will look magnificent.

Y-wing reference image Set 7658 compare to the original Y-wing, something are not modelling it very good. 75172 seems to be a closer trial but I hate the studs surface... Some people said this below set modeled the Y-wing in the closet way, I think not really. I tried to re-work the 7658 : - re-build the head and cannon completely - edition of tail coils - massage the surface of body Just not very happy with the cannon, re-build it again

Thanks for your great feedback. Actually I am pretty shame to post this topic since I did something very similar to the previous one. But I just feel it is good to share the armor I did for this dragon. And wing the can fold which makes me very happy (save a lot of space...). i like the armor at shoulder and face the most, because it is very difficult to design that (the challenge is this is armor not part of body, it must be thin, not bulky. But the location there has no stud or hole nearby...)
