I don't know that everyone would agree with me, but I think that superheroes has a greater lasting appeal. SW is a brand. Unless they come out with a new movie or something, it will go out of fashion eventually. Superheroes, on the other hand, have hardly gone out of fashion since they became poular in the 30s/40s - and so long as they stay up with the times they have a long way to go. They are our modern mythology - the fact of the matter is that if TLG could graps this they would, seeing as they have both DC and Marvel, be sitting on top of one of the greatest licenced themes ever. That said, I'm not sure I can see it out-living SW's reign, but I would love it so, so much if it did - or even reached, say, 5 years (10 waves if this pattern continues)

I agree. I really don't understand why everyone has such big problems with the tumbler. It is waaay closer to scale than the first version!

Probably not the best thing to say on an AFOL forum hahaha! I don't really think he looks like his comic appearance either. I mean, if that, then he'd have the flat top. I don't know. To me he just looks like a generic old man. I imagine him more with a waistcoat and suspenders than in an open verion of Bruce Wayne's suit - and I've always thought of him with the toupe looking two toned hair. I just really don't feel like they captured his character - that said, I don't think they captured lots of characters that well in this wave, mostly Mr. Freeze (unless he has a calm reverse face) or penguin (who looks like a LOTR dwarf who is about to get married) I still love them, though. EDIT: Very funny. I was running out the door! I didn't have time to check spelling or my message at all! haha You can bet I won't be doing that again. We need to get spell check on here. My dislexia is not coping well without it.

At first I thought it was a flaw, but now I think it is a plus that there is no printing/sticker on Ivy's cell - it means that it can be used as a sort of maximum security cell. I also used to think that the cell was obscurely placed, but now that I have replayed Arkham Asylum it just reminds me of her cell in that so much that I'm just super excited about it!

Problem is, at the end of the day, that the hair piece they chose isn't really the grey color of the top or the white color of the sides. Plus, the rendition in the show has that inexplicably muscular look, like comissioner Gordon (or amlost any other macho civillian charachter.) And I think that the fig really doesn't capture that very well. That's what I'm hoping for too. TLG could really redeem this wave if they get these last two sets right.

I'm not sure he looks very acurate to that at all... I mean, he looks a lot older in his minifig form. I feel like if they had done some kind of printing on his hair he'd look a load more accurate.

What? He hasn't made any physical appearances? Why is he in the set then? Has the episode it is based on not been released yet? Just to clarify, I meant the window on the bank, seeing as it all falls in one and just looks lazy. I love the way these all burst out on th DB! Are there any pics of his show incarnation? I couln't would out which one was him from google. I'll have to agree to disagree about the cowl. :)

I may be sounding extremely stupid in saying this; but what does the C in DBC stand for? Daily Bugle ____ ? Company? I don't know marvel very well... I think the building looks like a lot of fun - there are a lot of play features in it, which the bank could have done with if you ask me. The awkward falling window holds little satisfaction - even from my 4 year old. Do you prefer the new JJJ design or the old one? I feel like the hair on the old one looks more like him in my opinion - but then again, I haven't watched the new show to see how he looks in that. I don't get why people think he's is smiling. To me it looks like he is clenching his teeth. Nothing about it looks happy to me.

I second all this ^ I think Arkham, regardless of any tiny problems, is awesome.

What do you mean not many people were impressed by the funhouse? I loved it! I think it is probably the best set of the first wave and I thought most people were in agreement with that...

Well, I get that with Catwoman. Not so sure about Bane. I can think of multiple occacions, at least recent incarnations, where he is in Arkham. Besides, it's a toy. TLG's target audience is not going to be up in arms about them failing to perfectly abide the continuity.

How would top printing work differently to side printing? The footage of printing machines I've seen haven't printed directly onto the top of the figure, they printed onto the front? I feel like I am missing something... haha

Is that camera mould new? It looks different to the old one

Hi, I'm hoping this is the right place to post this. I'm thinking of buying some custom figures from Christo on Ebay, but I'd really like to know how well the printing lasts. Is it really as good as official TLG printing? Or is it going to rub off and age like a decal? Thanks so much!

I know. It's wierd. I wish they had put a tile in for bane, catwoman or even Harley.

That DLC could be really fun. Just running around the town as nolan characters (hopefulle also a catwoman, seeing as they have deprived us of a figure) makes me salivate. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is a discussion for the game thread probably.
